Abstract

One of the causes for stagnation of thought experienced by Muslim society at the present time is the difficulty faced in the ongoing dialogue between the reality of religious texts and the reality of contemporary life. This is the reason present-day Muslim scholars are more deeply reflecting on the works of classical Muslim scholars inherited from the at-turāṡ. At the same time in the Western world there has emerged a method, known as hermeneutics, used for understanding scriptural texts. This theoretical approach has attracted much interest from contemporary Muslim scholars who are seeking to apply its method to understanding Islamic classical works (at-turāṡ). Abstract

Literature is believed to have a special appeal for the majority of people from all nations, including Arabs and Indonesians. The Al-Qur'an, which uses noble literature, was translated using literary language by H.B Jassin. His thoughts attract the attention of writers because they transmit literature to literature. This study aims to describe the verses of An-Naba from 1-7 in the perspective of the translation of the Noble Readings by H.B. Jassin. This study uses a descriptive analysis method without using statistical figures, the source of the research data is from Tafsir Noble Readings and Surah An-Naba. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Personality of H.B. Jassin who became his motivation to write the translation; 2) Ijmali and Tahlili methods are used to analyze and collect data; and 3) The language style of this Noble Reading translation is in the form of poetry, different from the translation of the Ministry of Religion. This translation of the Noble Readings does not change the meaning, meaning and content of the Qur'an at all, it's just that the difference is in the language style and sentence structure used by H.B. Jassin. H.B.'s goal Jassin wrote his translation solely to make the verses of the Qur'an very beautiful.

Abstract

Penafsiran al-Qur’an sudah terjadi pada saat zaman Nabi Muhammad masih hidup. Ketika Nabi Muhammad menerima wahyu dari Allah kemudian disampaikan kepada para sahabat, hal tersebut sama ketika Nabi Muhammad menyampaikan tafsir suatu ayat tertentu kepada para sahabat dan adapula sahabat yang menanyakan maksud dari suatu ayat tertentu, kemudian Nabi Muhammad menjawabnya. Setelah Nabi Muhammad wafat, perkembangan tafsir kemudian berlanjut pada masa sahabat, tabi’in dan seterusnya, dengan metode al-Qur’an, hadits dan ijtihad sahabat, karena sumber utamanya sudah tiada. Tafsir pada masa sahabat inilah mulai mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan, karena para sahabat mulai mencari penjelasan-penjelasan al-Qur’an berdasarkan penjelasan Nabi Muhammad, baik itu berasal dari al-Qur’an ataupun dari hadits-hadits, jika tidak ditemukan tafsirnya, maka para sahabat melakukan ijtihad. Perkembangan tafsir selanjutnya pada masa tabi’in, dan tabi’ al-tabi’in.  Kata kunci: Tafsir bi Al-Ma’sur, al-Qur’an, Sejarah Tafsir, Perkembangan Tafsir.

Abstract

This article explain about methodology of the Qur'an and its Interpretation creation Indonesian Ministry of Religion. Based on the statement that for some Indonesians understand the Qur’an in depth language original is something it doesn't easy. So in thing this The Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia presents a translation and interpretation in Indonesian. Method used in article this namely library research with analysis descriptive. Researcher find that method used in the book of the Qur'an and its commentary that is divide the verses in one sura be several groups of verses, determine the topic in each group of verses as the main theme, determine the sub-themes to break down the interpretation of a group of verses, namely translation, vocabulary, munasabah , asbāb al-nuzūl , interpretation, conclusion, and conclusion as well as outlining the interpretation of each of the sub-themes that have been prepared comprehensively. Method/source of interpretation used Interpretation of the Ministry of Religion namely method bi al-ma'ṡūr. The method of interpretation uses the taḥlīlī method. Abstract

This research intends to explore various treasures of Al-Qur'an interpretation related to the method of interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research in the form of library research (Library Research). The primary data sources used are the Al-Qur'an and the book of Tafsir related to the methodology of al-Qur'an interpretation by al-Farmawi and M. Quraish Shihab. While the secondary data sources used are various scientific literature relevant to the core object of this research. This research includes conceptual research with a philosophical-normative approach. While the nature of this research approach is descriptive-analytic and prescriptive. The results of this study indicate that there are four methods of interpreting the verses of the Koran, namely the tahlîli method, the maudhû'i method, the ijâmlî method, and the muqâran method. In the development of interpretation, there are new methods of interpretation in the treasury of the science of exegesis as initiated by contemporary interpreters, namely the semi-maudhîli tahlîli interpretation method, the semi-tahlîli maudhû'i interpretation method, and the semi-tahlili ijâmlî interpretation method.

Abstract

This study elaborates and puts M. Quraish Shihab and Tafsir al-Mishbah in the discourse of Indonesian exegesis (Tafsir). This paper also tries to place Tafsir al-Mishbah which is currently the most comprehensive interpretation among other Indonesian mufassirs’s work that have a complete interpretation. Further explanation on Tafsir al-Mishbah and other mufassirs are considered necessary, so that Tafsir al-Mishbah will have a clearer position in the academic world. Besides mapping and positioning Tafsir al-Mishbah among other Indonesian interpretations, this paper will also look in depth at the correlation of the study of the Al-Qur`an in the previous interpretations. The result of the study shows that the work of M. Quraish Shihab is the most serious interpretation elaborating the Quranic verses in detail and trying to seek the correlation among the verses or chapters (surah).

Abstract

Penelitian tentang Living Qur'an adalah salah satu pendekatan penelitian modern yang membutuhkan dukungan untuk memperkuat statusnya sebagai salah satu proses ilmiah dalam bidang Ilmu Al-Qur'an. Metode ini berasal dari fenomenologi, yang berfokus pada fenomena sosial sebagai subjek penelitian. Selain itu, nilai-nilai normatif Al-Qur'an harus dipertahankan dalam proses ini agar hasil penelitian Living Qur'an sejalan dengan fungsi Al-Qur'an itu sendiri. Untuk menghindari hasil penelitian yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya mengacu pada teks Al-Qur'an. Living Qur'an menempatkan gejala sosial sebagai objek penelitian, yang memungkinkan untuk memahami Al-Qur'an dengan cara yang berbeda dari teksnya. Setelah penelitian selesai, hasilnya dapat dinilai apakah implementasi fenomena sosial Al-Qur'an sesuai dengan teks atau tidak. Jika hasilnya sejalan dengan Al-Qur'an, penelitian dapat dianggap selesai; jika tidak, penelitian harus dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan Living Qur'an untuk menyempurnakan implementasi Al-Qur'an. Artikel ini juga membahas cara mengidealisasikan metode dengan menggabungkan Living Qur'an dengan penelitian teks yang terkait dengan objek penelitian. Disarankan juga untuk menggabungkan penggunaan Living Qur'an sebagai metode untuk mengenali fenomena sosial yang terjadi di sekitar subjek penelitian. Kata kunci : Model, Living, Al-Qur’an, Sosial

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan pemanfaatan kaligrafi ayat-ayat al-Qur'an sebagai elemen dekoratif pada lingkungan belajar Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Darul Quran Mulia Bogor, sebagai bentuk praktik Living Qur'an. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif fenomenologis dan kerangka teori interaksionisme simbolik serta behavioristik, studi ini mengungkap bahwa kaligrafi tidak hanya berperan sebagai ornamen estetik, melainkan juga berfungsi sebagai artefak kultural yang mengukuhkan identitas Islami sekolah. Selain itu, kaligrafi juga berperan sebagai medium pembelajaran yang memperkaya pengalaman siswa dalam seni kaligrafi serta memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai agama. Temuan ini mengindikasikan potensi kaligrafi sebagai perangkat pedagogis yang efektif dalam konteks pendidikan Islam dan praktik Living Qur'an.

Abstract

Al-Quran beserta interaksinya dengan khalayak masyarakat muslim secara umum di berbagai wilayah memungkinkan adanya berbagai macam respons maupun perlakuan yang beragam. Bahkan banyak fenomena di kalangan masyarakat dalam menerapkan al-Quran di konteks keseharian baik dalam bentuk tradisi maupun kebiasaan yang didasari oleh al-Quran itu sendiri. Salah satu dari beragamnya fenomena tersebut adalah majelis Wening Ati, yang merupakan forum dakwah di bawah gerakan Tarbiyah yang di dalamnya menerapkan penghidupan al-Quran pada kehidupan keseharian (Living Quran) dalam bentuk sima'an hafalan dan tadabbur ayat al-Quran yang bersifat wajib di setiap pelaksanaan majelis tersebut. Kegiatan sima'an dan tadabbur pada majelis Wening Ati, yang apabila dilihat konstruksinya menggunakan teori Konstruksi Sosial oleh Berger dan Luckman maka akan mengarah kepada tiga aspek dialektika: Objective Reality, Symbolic Reality dan Subjective Reality. Objective reality dalam konstruksi pemahaman adalah keyakinan bahwa al-Qur'an merupakan sumber berkah. Lalu ada ekspresi simbolik dari keyakinan tersebut (Symblolic reality) berupa melakukan sima'an dan tadabbur al-Quran. Sedang pada Subjective Reality, dengan dilaksanakannya sima'an dan tadabbur pada kegiatan majelis tersebut maka akan didapatkan barakah di sepanjang kegiatan tersebut berlangsung.

Abstract

One of the interpretations of the Qur’an using the local language is Tafsir al-Munir by AGH. Daud Ismail who is a great scholar from the land of Bugis who first interpreted the Qur'an as a whole. He presents a Buginese Interpretation so that the divine messages contained in the Qur'an can be understood by the wider community, especially the Bugis community. This research is a qualitative research that is descriptive in nature, at least provides an overview regarding AGH. Daud Ismail and the characteristics of his interpretation and the application of his interpretation with the Tahlili method. The approach used in this research is linguistics, interpretation science approach, and social approach. Tafsir al-Munir Mabbasa Ugi written by AGH. Daud Ismail followed the mushafi pattern, he wrote it in 10 volumes, each volume consisting of 3 chapters. The systematics of writing by writing the verses of the Qur'an side by side with the translation, the verses of the Qur'an are written on the right and the Bugis language translation on the left, mentioning the order of the surahs and verses at the beginning of the discussion, in each interpretation one verse, two verses, or several verses of the Qur'an arranged in such a way as to provide a unified meaning, or these verses are considered one group. Interpretation of the Qur'an using the tahlili method is an attempt to explain the Qur'an by describing its various aspects and explaining what is meant by the Qur'an.
