Abstract

Pengembangan media pembelajaran dapat memanfaatkan Google Sites sebagai platform pembuatan website kelas atau sekolah yang mengintegrasikan berbagai informasi dalam satu wadah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan media CommVirus Education berbantuan Google Sites berbasis model PjBL untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi serta hasil belajar kognitif materi virus dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Tahapan pengembangan media terdiri dari lima tahapan model pengembangan Lee & Owens. Implementasi media dilaksanakan pada kelas X-1 SMAN 2 Batu dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest melibatkan 35 murid sebagai sampel. Hasil uji kevalidan media mencapai 96,7%, sedangkan hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan 95,6%. Tingginya rata-rata tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa media telah valid dan praktis untuk digunakan. Adapun hasil uji keefektifan dari skor tes dan angket yang dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain Score menunjukkan skor 0,8 yang berarti media efektif meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan hasil belajar kognitif. Rekomendasi selanjutnya, dapat menambahkan variasi audio untuk memfasilitasi gaya belajar murid yang beragam serta menambahkan materi Biologi secara umum agar media pembelajaran bersifat komprehensif.

Abstract

Critical reasoning skills are still relatively low among students and have a significant impact on cognitive learning outcomes. This study aims to produce E-Dioclass learning media on the PBLPOE model of circulatory system material integrated with SDGs number 3 to develop critical reasoning dimensions and cognitive learning outcomes of phase F students that are valid and practical. The research model used is the Lee & Owens development model with five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The analysis stage aims to identify the needs of teachers and students. The design stage aims to design E-Dioclass media. The development stage is to realize the design in the form of a storyboard to become a prototype. The implementation stage is to apply the media in four meetings. The evaluation stage is to determine the effectiveness of the media. E-Dioclass media is a Google Classroom-assisted media that can be accessed online through electronic devices. The results of E-Dioclass media validation by media experts, material experts, and biology education practitioners obtained an average score of 95.7%. The results of the practicality test obtained a score of 81.6%. Therefore, E-Dioclass media is declared valid, practical.

Abstract

The animals in the world are very diverse and countless. The variety of animals in the field of biology is divided into kingdoms, species, families, orders, and classes. The classification of animals in biology is certainly different from the classification of animals in Javanese society. This study aims to explain animal hyponymy in Javanese based on Semantic studies. Hyponyms are inseparable from the relation of meaning. This research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by documentation, observation, listening, and taking notes. Data analysis was carried out using the agih method with the substitution technique and the reflexive-introspective method based on the flow model in which there is reduction, presentation, verification, and inference. Animal species are diverse and innumerable. In Javanese semantics, kewan 'animal' has the same components as tetuwuhan 'plant'. Furthermore, as a subordinate, kewan has components in between rajakaya, sato iwen, omahan, and alasan. In the category of pomahan or ingon-ingon animals, there are three types, namely rajakaya, sato iwen, and kewan lulut. Differentiation of several hyponyms is done by component analysis. Rajakaya 'farm animals' can be distinguished based on size, power, color, and aspects of their use. Sato iwen can be distinguished based on size, sound, beak shape, leg shape, and animal utilization, and kewan lulut can be distinguished based on size, price, level of compliance, type of food, and type of care.AbstrakHewan-hewan di dunia sangat beragam dan tak terhitung banyaknya. Ragam hewan dalam bidang ilmu biologi dibagi ke dalam kingdom, spesies, famili, ordo, dan kelas. Penggolongan hewan dalam ilmu Biologi tentu berbeda dengan penggolongan hewan dalam masyarakat Jawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hiponimi hewan dalam bahasa Jawa berdasarkan kajian Semantik. Hiponim tidak terlepas dari relasi makna. Penelitian ini berpendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan dokumentasi, observasi, simak, dan catat. Penganalisisan data dilakukan dengan metode agih dengan teknik substitusi dan metode reflektif-introspektif dengan berdasarkan pada model alir yang di dalamnya terdapat reduksi, penyajian, verifikasi, dan inferensi. Spesies hewan beragam dan tak terhitung banyaknya. Dalam Semantik bahasa Jawa, kewan ‘hewan’ mempunyai kesamaan komponen dengan tetuwuhan ‘tumbuhan’. Selanjutnya, sebagai subordinat, kewan memiliki komponen di antaranya rajakaya, sato iwen, omahan, dan alasan. Dalam kategori hewan pomahan atau ingon-ingon, terdiri atas tiga jenis, yakni rajakaya, sato iwen, dan kewan lulut. Pembedaan atas beberapa hiponim dilakukan dengan analisis komponen. Rajakaya ‘hewan ternak’ dapat dibedakan berdasarkan ukuran, tenaga, warna, dan aspek pemanfaatannya. Sato iwen dapat dibedakan berdasarkan ukuran, suara, bentuk paruh, bentuk kaki, dan pemanfaatan hewan, dan kewan lulut dibedakan berdasarkan ukuran, harga, tingkat kepatuhan, jenis makanan, dan jenis perawatan

Abstract

Literasi visual dan hasil belajar kognitif merupakan aspek fundamental yang perlu ditumbuhkan dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21. Pencapaian kedua aspek tersebut membutuhkan dukungan media belajar yang relevan dan representatif, seperti melalui pemanfaatan media audiovisual elektronik yang terpadu dengan basis model yang tepat serta dukungan terhadap tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media audiovisual elektronik bernama Protist Electronic Charta (PROTECH) yang dipadukan dengan basis model POE terintegrasi poin SDGs “Clean Water and Sanitation” untuk melatih literasi visual dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi protista. Metode penelitian ini yaitu Research & Development dengan model pengembangan Lee and Owens yang dibatasi hingga tahap development, tepatnya pada uji kevalidan dan kepraktisan media. Instrumen yang dimanfaatkan untuk menguji kevalidan media yaitu lembar validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi pendidikan biologi. Adapun kepraktisan media diuji menggunakan instrumen angket respons siswa melalui tiga tahap uji coba, yaitu uji coba perseorangan, kelompok kecil, dan lapangan. Hasil uji kevalidan dan kepraktisan dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui perhitungan persentase yang mengacu pada kriteria penilaian tertentu. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan rerata kevalidan mencapai 97,5%, sedangkan rerata uji kepraktisan mencapai 91,8%. Tingginya kedua rerata tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa media audiovisual PROTECH yang dikembangkan dinilai valid dan praktis untuk melatih literasi visual dan hasil belajar kognitif materi protista peserta didik, sehingga layak untuk diimplementasikan

Abstract

Learning ecosystem material can be taught in line with efforts to realize the Sustainable Development Goals, one of which is the point of Life on Land. Learning media plays a crucial role in facilitating effective learning and offers advantages, especially in terms of flexibility and interactivity. This development aims to produce a website-assisted learning product, the Eco-Explorer Game, which is effective in improving the dimensions of mutual cooperation and cognitive learning outcomes. The development process follows the Lee & Owens model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. In the implementation stage, this study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest technique, with a sample consisting of 36 tenth-grade students at SMAN 1 Singosari. Quantitative data were collected through two main instruments: pretest and posttest scores to measure cognitive learning outcomes, and observation sheets equipped with a quantitative assessment rubric to measure the dimensions of mutual cooperation (collaboration, caring, and sharing). The data analysis technique to measure the improvement of both variables used the N-Gain test. The collected data shows that the game is proven to be effective in improving the dimensions of mutual cooperation and students' cognitive learning outcomes as indicated by the increase in the average achievement results of each indicator both in the dimensions of mutual cooperation (from the initial 56.1 to 88.7) and also cognitive learning outcomes (from the initial 66.8 to 87.7). The N-Gain score obtained from the observation sheet for the dimensions of mutual cooperation shows a high score of 0.7. Furthermore, cognitive learning outcomes show an N-Gain score of 0.62, which is included in the moderate category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Eco-Explorer Game is very effective in improving the dimensions of mutual cooperation of students and is quite effective in improving their cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Digital transformation is driving changes in literacy skills and technology-based information services. The Regional Archives and Library Service (ARPUS) of Magetan Regency is one government agency that has utilized technology and information in conducting business processes. The use of information technology is also implemented in several libraries within the region. This requires ARPUS to introduce digital media-based innovations in its services. One such effort is utilizing a learning platform to provide digital literacy-based learning resources. This activity is in the form of Community Service (PkM) which is carried out by mentoring librarians to utilize the e-plantasia platform as a botany learning medium. This activity is carried out using a participatory mentoring method based on training and direct practice (hands-on training) which includes needs analysis, training, practice, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results show that participants have a sufficient initial understanding of digital literacy, but do not yet fully understand the use of the e-Plantasia application. After the training, there was an increase in the average post-test score on all indicators, from the range of 60–70 to 80–86, as well as an increase in readiness for implementation in library services. Thus, mentoring activities have proven effective in improving librarians' competence in utilizing digital media as an innovation in library literacy services.
