Abstract

The challenges of the business and industrial worlds (DU/DI) regarding the competency of SMK graduates. One of the reasons for graduates' non-absorption in the labor market is complaints about their ability. Non-absorption of vocational graduates in the business/industrial world does not imply a lack of work prospects, but rather a lack of graduate competency. The purpose of this research ascertains the level of relevance of the curriculum for the productive program of Motorcycle Business Engineering Skills Competence at SMK Negeri 4 Banda Aceh with the needs of DU/DI, as well as to capture the competencies required by DU/DI for graduates majoring in Motorcycle Business Engineering. A quantitative descriptive method with a survey methodology is used in this investigation. This study's participants were productive teachers of TBSM competence at SMK Negeri 4 Banda Aceh and ATPM workshops that partnered with SMK Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. The Percentage descriptive statistics were employed to analyze the data. According to the findings of this study, the level of applicability of the curriculum for the productive TBSM skill competency program with the need for DU/DI is 92% on average. Initiation of the fact that the curriculum of SMK Negeri 4 Banda Aceh is really relevant.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang menyelenggarakan proses sekolah menengah atas dengan tujuan mendidik siswanya menjadi ahli dalam bidang tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran menggunakan sistem blok pada Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik Kelas XI di SMKN 2 Sigli, Bagaimana Pengaruh Sistem Blok Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Kelas. jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dan Quasy Eksperimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 siswa yang terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas kontrol dan 25 siswa kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data statistik berupa korelasi kausal/rasio pengaruh dengan model regresi sederhana dengan aplikasi statistik SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran blok sistem terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik, namun tidak terlalu signifikan, karena hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 3,864, sedangkan t hitung sebesar 3,864. -tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 2,060 yang diperoleh pada akhir perlakuan yaitu 77,72 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 74,40 untuk kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in developing human resources with the necessary character and competence to meet the demands of the future Industrial 4.0 revolution. To ensure the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, schools require supporting facilities and infrastructure. One such component is the school bell, which helps teachers notify students of daily schedules. As technology advances, some schools have adopted an automatic school bell as an alternative to traditional bells. These automatic school bells use Arduino microcontroller technology to ring at scheduled times, automatically improving accuracy and convenience. By utilizing sound output via an Arduino-based system, every created information can be easily delivered and reached. This study follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, a widely used system development methodology encompassing hardware and software systems. The research successfully demonstrates an automatic school bell system capable of automatically producing notification sounds, optimizing electricity consumption, and generating precise sound frequencies during teaching and learning activities. The output voltage and current results at various parts of the automatic school bell system range from 4.17 to 5.90 volts and 488 to 602 mA, respectively. At the same time, power consumption achieved about 2.07 to 3.38 Watts. An automatic school bell system simplifies ringing the school bell as it seamlessly integrates with the scheduled timetable (software). As a result, the automatic school bell now rings automatically according to the pre-defined schedule, enhancing efficiency and ensuring timely transitions between classes and breaks.

Abstract

Air adalah sumber daya penting yang penting bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia, melayani berbagai keperluan rumah tangga seperti konsumsi, mandi, dan pembersihan. PDAM Tirta Mountala Aceh Besar berperan penting sebagai penyedia air bersih bagi masyarakat. Namun, terdapat beberapa kondisi dimana kualitas air, yang ditandai dengan kekeruhan dan kandungan minyak, dapat membahayakan keamanan konsumsinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Fuzzy Mamdani untuk menentukan status keamanan air yang disuplai. Penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan sampel air dari PDAM dan pelanggan rumah tangga. Pengukuran kualitas air dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat water tester (pH meter) dan TDS EC tester. Parameter yang diuji meliputi kekeruhan, warna, zat padat, suhu, dan pH. Dua putaran pengujian dilakukan untuk air PDAM dan air rumah tangga. Hasil pengujian untuk air PDAM menunjukkan nilai kekeruhan dan warna masing-masing sebesar 20 NTU dan 30 NTU. Konsentrasi zat padat, suhu, dan pH diukur masing-masing pada 114 mg/l, 35,42 ℃, dan 7,90. Sampel air rumah tangga menunjukkan nilai 140 mg/l, 35,06 ℃, dan 7,74 untuk parameter yang sesuai. Analisis logika Fuzzy Mamdani menghasilkan nilai keamanan sebesar 71,6 untuk air PDAM dan 63,3 untuk air rumah tangga, yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua sumber tersebut tergolong aman untuk dikonsumsi. Penerapan analisis logika Fuzzy Mamdani menggunakan parameter seperti kekeruhan, warna, zat padat, suhu, dan pH terbukti efektif dalam menentukan status keamanan air dari PDAM dan sumber rumah tangga. Hasilnya menegaskan bahwa air yang disuplai oleh PDAM Tirta Mountala Aceh Besar aman untuk dikonsumsi, sehingga menyediakan alat pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan akurat dalam penilaian kualitas air.

Abstract

Thinking is a process of mental activity experienced by someone when faced with a problem or situation that must be solved. Intuitive thinking is part of the logical aspect that develops one's ability to analyze spontaneously, quickly and precisely on a problem. In this study, the researchers aimed to determine the intuitive thinking skills of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh in solving basic electronics problems. Researchers used qualitative methods with descriptive type. In this research phase, the researcher used an instrument in the form of a test in the form of essay test questions. The subjects addressed in this study were students of SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh, totaling 7 people including 4 people from class X and 3 people from class XI in the field of Audio Video Engineering study. The results of the study showed the intuitive thinking skills of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda, namely out of 7 students, 3 of them had the ability to think intuitively. The conclusion of this study is that students at SMK Muhammadiyah Banda Aceh are stated to lack the ability to think intuitively.

Abstract

Taxonomy can be defined as the naming or classification of an idea or name, according to one discipline. There is a lack of regulation in the concept of vocational education. Vocational education (SMK) cannot fully use Bloom's Taxonomy. Vocational Taxonomy is centered on psychomotor theory which emphasizes aspects of physical movement. However, the purpose of this research is to determine the appropriate Vocational Taxonomy hierarchical structure for SMKN 1 Jeunib. The design of this research is qualitative research which using interview method to assess the perception of the Vocational teacher in terms of determination the Vocational Taxonomy. The sample chosen was SMKN 1 Jeunib, Bireun, Aceh, which selected 54 teachers from all departments. The result presented that the teachers believed Vocational Taxonomy is important for SMK learning and teaching. In addition, the taxonomic function is very important and assisting in teaching and learning, aiding the curriculum preparation and contributing the practical activities. Then also, the taxonomy function is important in measurement and assessment of psychomotor activities. So, the Taxonomy was recommended to related parties (SMK, Polytechnic, Vocational College, or training Institution). The research also stated that there was a need for a link between cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Finally, the students not only mastered the aspects of knowledge but also proficiency.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning media as a supporting tool for the teaching and learning process. For its use, it is borrowed from the Academic Division and the study program. Often lost and not properly recorded are problems that are often experienced. Inventory management allows proper recording of assets owned. The availability of well-managed goods ensures timely academic services. This research aims to design a multisensor-based inventory and lending system that can improve the efficiency, transparency, and competitiveness of the organization. the method used is prototype with Evaluation of the prototype interface using heuristic evaluation, system quality testing using ISO 25010. Evaluation results obtained that the Internet of Things-based inventory and lending application has been well designed and meets the heuristic criteria. system quality test results have met stakeholder expectations, especially in terms of innovation and competitive advantage and provide satisfaction to users.            Keywords: inventory and lending system; ISO 25010; internet of things  Abstrak: Media pembelajaran sebagai alat pendukung terjadinya proses belajar mengajar. Untuk penggunaannya meminjam pakai dari Bidang Akademik maupun program studi. Sering hilang dan tidak tercatat dengan baik menjadi permasalahan yang sering di alami. Pengelolaan inventaris memungkinkan pencatatan yang tepat terhadap aset yang dimiliki. Ketersediaan barang yang terkelola dengan baik memastikan pelayanan akademik yang tepat waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem inventaris dan peminjaman barang berbasis multisensor yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan daya saing organisasi. metode yang digunakan adalah prototype dengan Evaluasi antarmuka prototype menggunakan evaluasi heuristic, pengujian kualitas sistem menggunakan ISO 25010. Hasil evaluasi Evaluasi didapat bahwa aplikasi inventaris dan peminjaman barang berbasis Internet of Things telah dirancang dengan baik dan memenuhi kriteria-kriteria heuristic. hasil uji kualitas sistem telah memenuhi harapan stakeholder, terutama dalam hal inovasi dan keunggulan kompetitif serta memberikan kepuasan kepada pengguna. Kata kunci: sistem inventaris dan peminjman; ISO 25010; internet of things

Abstract

The goal of artificial intelligence is to build robots that can learn, reason, and adapt to carry out complicated tasks. The research aims to provide essential guidance to enhance students' knowledge related to artificial intelligence devices. The highlights of the need for Indonesian engineering students to align their competencies with the 4.0 industrial revolution by developing knowledge in adopting artificial intelligence to improve Indonesia's technological standing in fields such as power electronics. The respondent of the study involved 125 electrical engineering students in Aceh. The questionnaire is the chosen instrument aimed at obtaining perceptions from electrical engineering students regarding their knowledge of artificial intelligence devices. The research revealed that electrical engineering students in Aceh struggle with understanding artificial intelligence applications due to limited exposure, a lack of expert guidance, unfamiliarity with programming elements, and insufficient explanation of AI concepts in their curriculum.

Abstract

Based on the results of learning observations in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation, it was found that most students still lack enthusiasm and interest in learning. Compared to studying, they prefer to do other things so as to make the class atmosphere noisy and disturbed. This has an impact on the value of student learning outcomes at a level that is not good or not optimal. This study aims to determine students' responses to the application of PIR Sensor-Based learning media in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMKN 1 Darul Kamal Aceh Besar. This research uses R&D method. By using a questionnaire sheet instrument on 8 students. The research results were collected through a questionnaire sheet. Student responses to the application of PIR Sensor-Based learning media showed "Satisfactory" results. This is proven by the results of student responses as much as 71.1%. It can be concluded that the PIR Sensor has proven to be effective for learning Electrical Lighting Installation and can be applied to other similar subjects.

Abstract

Penerapan trainer dalam mata kuliah metodologi perlu dilakukan karena hal ini akan memudahkan mahasiswa dalam memahami materi yang diberikan oleh dosen. Trainer praktikum ini menggunakan bahan inti seperti PZEM-004T dan NodeMCU sebagai sistem mikrokontrolernya. Trainer yang dikembangkan ini menjadi alat bantu pembelajaran dalam mengajarkan power meter berbasis IoT. Hasil pengukuran daya dapat dipantau melalui aplikasi blynk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D) yaitu perancangan dan pembuatan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi untuk menguji kelayakan program pelatihan oleh seorang validator. Peneliti menggunakan kuisioner untuk mengetahui respon responden terhadap penggunaan trainer. Hasil verifikasi dari ahli media dan materi menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga ini dapat diterapkan dalam mata kuliah metodologi pengukuran. Berdasarkan persentase yang diperoleh dari ahli materi, hasil validasi dari ahli media diperoleh nilai 97,14 dengan penilaian dua validator akhir sebesar 98,57% dan tanggapan responden menghasilkan nilai 85,25 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak.
