Abstract

The real problems in the field found that the learning activities of this procedure text are still less effective in using learning media in general, seen from the results of observations by interviewing students that students feel bored with learning procedure text because the learning media used only use textbooks that contain text and theory only. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of students after applying video learning media and applying contextual learning methods which are learning concepts to help teachers connect material with applications in everyday life. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, based on the research that has been done, the author uses a questionnaire instrument to find out the students' response to the procedure text material using video-based learning media, the research subject is SMPN 3 BATUJAJAR students, the population in this study are class VII A students with a total of 25 students, the following student questionnaire results get a percentage of 75.2%, thus it can be concluded that the application of learning methods and camtasia application learning media gets a positive response from students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of student learning through the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media in improving the writing skills of observational report texts among Grade X vocational high school (SMK) students. The research method used is a mixed-methods approach. The design employed in this study is the Exploratory Sequential Design, which combines the sequential collection of qualitative and quantitative data. The population in this study consisted of 27 student. The instruments use include observation sheets, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assesments to measure the effetiveness of the learning implementation on students’ writing skills in observational report texts. The result of the study indicate a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes. The findings also show that the implementation of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media is effective in enhancing students’ skills in writing observational report texts. This is evident from the posttest scores, which averaged 87, significantly higher than the pretest average of 46. These findings demonstrate that use of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Wordwall media is effective for teaching observational report text writing to avocational high school students.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze Indonesian language teachers’ understanding of lesson planning within the Merdeka Curriculum and to examine the linguistic quality of teaching modules used as instructional planning documents in schools. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving seven Indonesian language teachers from elementary, junior high, senior high, and vocational schools. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation of teaching modules and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model. The findings reveal that teachers generally understand lesson planning as a strategic guide that directs learning objectives, activities, and assessments in a flexible and contextual manner. However, the linguistic analysis of five teaching modules indicates that the quality of instructional language has not fully met academic language standards, particularly regarding adherence to Indonesian orthographic conventions, sentence effectiveness, consistency of pedagogical terminology, and clarity and measurability of learning objectives. These results highlight that the effectiveness of lesson planning in the Merdeka Curriculum depends not only on teachers’ conceptual understanding but also on the linguistic quality of teaching modules as tools of pedagogical communication. This study recommends strengthening teachers’ competencies in developing teaching modules, especially in terms of linguistic accuracy and academic literacy. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemahaman guru Bahasa Indonesia terhadap perencanaan pembelajaran serta menelaah kualitas kebahasaan modul ajar yang disusun sebagai perangkat perencanaan pembelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melibatkan tujuh guru Bahasa Indonesia dari jenjang SD, SMP/MTs, SMA, dan SMK. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi modul ajar, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru pada umumnya telah memahami perencanaan pembelajaran sebagai pedoman strategis yang mengarahkan tujuan, kegiatan, dan asesmen pembelajaran secara fleksibel dan kontekstual. Namun demikian, analisis kebahasaan terhadap lima modul ajar menunjukkan bahwa kualitas bahasa instruksional belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kaidah kebahasaan akademik, terutama pada aspek ketepatan PUEBI, keefektifan kalimat, konsistensi istilah pedagogik, serta kejelasan dan keterukuran tujuan pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan perencanaan pembelajaran tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pemahaman konseptual guru, tetapi juga oleh kualitas kebahasaan modul ajar sebagai media komunikasi pedagogis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kompetensi guru dalam penyusunan modul ajar, khususnya pada aspek kebahasaan dan literasi akademik.
