Abstract

Communication process needs to be built in an online-tutorial to liven up students interaction and participation in a discussion forum. One of the strategies tutors can do to enhance student participation in providing feedback in a discussion forum is by giving additional questions. This paper is the result of research in the form of action research on online tutorial in the subject of Fisheries Resources Management 2009.1 period that is conducted by providing two questions in five initiations, and one question in three initiations. The purpose of question giving is to obtain information about the differences in the number of student responses who were given one question and two questions. In addition, this article also examines students and experts perceptions on the quality of tutor questions and the result of expert assessment on the quality of student responses. The assessment is based on the comprehension, substance and benefits. Research results showed that the number of responses from student given with two questions is higher and significantly different compared with the number of responses from students given one question. In general, the first question and the second question assessed by students and experts are of good quality. The second question is assessed as an applied question, while the first question is considered as a theoretical question. The second question is considered to have better quality than the first question in the aspects of easiness/simplicity to understand, relevance to up to date issues on the field and the ability to train students in finding the best solution of a problem in the field of fisheries. Proses komunikasi dalam tutorial online perlu dibangun untuk menghidupkan interaksi dan partisipasi mahasiswa dalam forum diskusi. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan tutor untuk meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa dalam memberikan tanggapan di forum diskusi adalah melalui pemberian tambahan pertanyaan. Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk action research terhadap kegiatan tutorial online pada mata kuliah Manajemen Sumber Daya Perikanan masa 2009.1 yang telah dilakukan dengan menerapkan pemberian dua pertanyaan di lima inisiasi dan satu pertanyaan di tiga inisiasi. Tujuan pemberian pertanyaan adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang perbedaan jumlah tanggapan mahasiswa yang diberi satu pertanyaan dan dua pertanyaan. Selain itu, artikel ini juga mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa dan pakar terhadap kualitas pertanyaan tutor dan hasil penilaian pakar terhadap kualitas tanggapan mahasiswa. Penilaian didasarkan pada ketercernaan, substansi dan manfaatnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah tanggapan mahasiswa yang diberi dua pertanyaan lebih tinggi dan nyata berbeda dibanding jumlah tanggapan mahasiswa yang diberi satu pertanyaan. Secara umum, pertanyaan pertama dan pertanyaan kedua dinilai mahasiswa dan pakar memiliki kualitas yang baik. Pertanyaan kedua dinilai merupakan pertanyaan terapan, sedangkan pertanyaan pertama dinilai sebagai pertanyaan yang bersifat teori. Pertanyaan kedua dinilai memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik dibanding pertanyaan pertama dalam aspek kemudahan untuk dipahami, kerelevanan dengan masalah yang up to date yang terjadi di lapangan dan kemampuan untuk melatih mahasiswa dalam mencarikan solusi terbaik dari suatu permasalahan di bidang perikanan.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) analyze the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 4 Krandegan, Banjarnegara District, Banjarnegara Regency; (2) analyzing the strategic efforts to strengthen teacher competence in SD Negeri 4 Krandegan, Banjarnegara District, Banjarnegara Regency. This research method uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation studies. While the data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 4 Krandelan was very good. The strategic efforts to strengthen competence were carried out, namely: (1) pedagogic competence: by discussing with teachers both formal and non-formal, giving assignments to teachers to transmit the results of technical guidance, holding workshops, supervision, comparative studies, increasing time allocation; (2) personality competencies: giving rewards, freedom of opinion, coaching, and bringing in lecturers; (3) Professional competence: facilitating teachers to be active in the KKG, increasing teacher insight, encouraging teachers to take part in scientific/innovative work competitions, assigning tasks to teachers to guide academic competitions, assigning teachers to guide and develop curriculum development, involving teachers to become curriculum development teams in schools ; (4) Social competence: design learning with cooperative methods, group activities that require collaboration, such as outbound, extracurricular, tourism, being friends in CAR, and giving dispensation to teachers in community activities.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh partial maupun simultan dari budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kualitas sumber daya manusia dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Biro Perencanaan Anggaran dan Kerja Sama Luar Negeri Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah staf pelaksana Biro Perencanaan Anggaran dan Kerja Sama Luar Negeri Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat yang berjumlah 100 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, data yang diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh  terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi pada upaya perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja dengan memperhatikan aspek budaya organisasi, gaya kepemimpinan, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan motivasi kerja.ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze both the partial and simultaneous impact of organizational culture, leadership, the quality of human resources, and working motivation on employee performance in the Bureau of Budget Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of Republic of Indonesia. Our study sample is composed of 100 staff. We collected data by using a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results of the study show that organizational culture, leadership style, quality of human resources, and work motivation affect employee performance. The results of this study have implications for the company's efforts to improve performance by paying attention to aspects of organizational culture, leadership style, quality of human resources, and work motivation.

Abstract

Bogor Mini Zoo is one of nature tourism area that must be appreciated by economic value with non market based. Bogor Mini Zoo have some advantages as animal park for local communities, students education and research. This ecotourism located in Pamoyanan, Bogor City. This study aims to determine variabels that are influences demand function curve, estimate willingness to pay of enviromental services and consumer surplus. This study is a survey research conducted using the method of Travel Cost Method that will analyze by multiple regression, approach of willingness to pay and consumer surplus. The result showed that economic value of environmental services can increase continual environmental protection in Bogor Mini Zoo. This study also explained that economic value of environmental services will support quality improvement of environment sustainability in Bogor Mini Zoo that can provides great economic benefit by improvement of animal park fasilities, ecotourism public fasilities and environmental quality. That matter will implement with collaboration of visitors, local communities, stakeholders and local government. This study of economic value of environmental services in animal park was still limited so it has important role for ecotourism development.

Abstract

The performance report data gathered from Key Performance Indicators, Bureau of Budget Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Public Works, and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia 2015-2020 shows they did not reach their target because of factors such as organizational culture, leadership, the quality of human resources, and working motivation. Therefore, this study aims to analyze both partial and simultaneous impacts of organizational culture, leadership, the quality of human resources, and workingmotivation on employee performance in the Bureau of Budget Planning and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Public Works, and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia. Abstract

Segara Jaya Village, Taruma Jaya District, Bekasi Regency has a mangrove ecotourism location which is now starting to be visited by tourists. The location is more specifically used as the Bekasi Regency Mangrove Restoration and Learning Center by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Even though many tourists have visited there, the life of the people is still not up to standard. Based on preliminary observations, it is known that people's income is between Rp. 800,000 to Rp. 900,000. This amount is far from enough to meet their daily needs. The people in Segara Jaya Village generally rely on their livelihood as fishermen. The life of fishermen in this village is still very simple. In order to help meet the needs of the family, the fishermen's wives in Segara Jaya Village joined the Joint Business Group (KUB) which is engaged in the business of processing catches whose results are sold to tourists who visit the mangrove ecotourism there. In community service activities the approach taken is training and mentoring methods in marketing. As for the results of this community service activity, the results were obtained, the participants were able to practice it with good results, how to process tuna into processed food in the form of dumplings and tekwan. The drawback in this activity is that the processed products have a fishy taste that is very thin so that they tend to be unusual, further training is expected for new findings related to processing methods by suppressing the thick smell of fish and seasoning according to certain doses in the process of making this type of food.

Abstract

Kelurahan Segara Jaya, Kecamatan Taruma Jaya, Kabupaten Bekasi memiliki lokasi ekowisata mangrove yang kini mulai ramai dikunjungi wisatawan. Lokasi tersebut lebih khusus dijadikan Pusat Restorasi dan Pembelajaran Mangrove Kabupaten Bekasi oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan. Meskipun wisatawan sudah banyak berkunjung kesana namun kehidupan masyarakatnya masih saja belum memenuhi standar. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui pendapatan masyarakat antara Rp.800.000 sampai Rp.900.000 Jumlah tersebut jauh dari cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Masyarakat di Desa Segara Jaya ini umumnya mengandalkan pada mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan. Kehidupan nelayan di desa ini masih sangat sederhana. Guna membantu memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga, para isteri nelayan yang ada di Desa Segara Jaya ikut tergabung dalam Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha pengolahan hasil tangkapan yang hasilnya dijual kepada wisatawan yang mengunjungi ekowisata mangrove yang ada disana. Dalam kegiatan abdimas pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pemasaran. Adapun dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diperoleh hasil, peserta dapat mempraktekannya dengan hasil baik cara mengolah ikan tongkol menjadi makanan olahan berupa mpek-mpek dan tekwan. Kekurangan dalam kegiatan ini adalah hasil olahan memiliki rasa ikan yang sangat pekan sehingga cendrung tidak biasa, pelatihan selanjutnya diharapkan adanya temuan baru terkait metode pengolahan dengan menekan bau pekat dari ikan dan racikan bumbu sesuai takaran tertentu dalam proses pembuatan jenis makan ini.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat merupakan salah satu unsur yang harus dipenuhi oleh tenaga pengajar yang berprofesi sebagai dosen. Pengetahuan dan teknologi yang dihantarkan kepada publik atau sekelompok masyarakat binaan adalah wujud pengabdian bidang tridarma pendidikan, disamping sebagai penguatan kelompok masyarakat kegiatan ini juga menunjang peran institusi pendidikan dalam akses informasi dan teknologi yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat dalam mengatasi masalah sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan yang ada dimasyarakat. Tim kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Terbuka yang terdiri dari sekelompok keahlian bidang lingkungan dan intervensi sosial pada penanganan pencegahan intursi air laut yang masuk pada lingkungan masyarakat di Rumah Susun Marunda Jakarta Utara. Pada kegiatan abdimas ini, pelaksanaan kegiatan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yakni, observasi dan ceramah umum, pelaksanaan dan penanaman dengan teknik guludan pada rhizopra yang ditanam untuk lahan mangrove di Marunda dan tahap tiga yakni kegiatan pengawasan dan evaluasi. Pada kegiatan tahap pertama ini tujuan kegiatan difokuskan pada dorongan kepada masyarakat untuk dapat mengetahui peran dan fungsi hutan mangrove di sekitar kawasan pesisir, sebagai fenomena tahunan bahwa warga rumah susun dan warga marunda pada umumnya menghadapi kenaikan air laut. Hasil kegiatan tahap satu memperlihatkan bahwa masyarakat memailiki pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang fungsi dan peran ekosistem mangrove. Kegiatan akan berlangsung pada tahap dan tahap tiga dengan teknis yang sudah disepakti dan dirancang bersama oleh masyarakat ditempat sasaran pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Terbuka di Marunda Jakarta Utara

Abstract

Environmental Management System (EMS) is one of the tools that can be used in environmental management. Slaughterhouses (RPH) are facilities, where animals are slaughtered for consumption as food products. This practice aims to assess and identify the current suitability/conditions at Jone Slaughterhouse (RPH) to the implementation of the Environmental Management System from ISO clause 14001. Practice shows that there are several documented ISO 14001 clauses such as organization (clause 4), Leadership (clauses 5.1, 5.3), planning (clause 6.1.3), support (clause 7.1), and performance evaluation (clause 9.1.2).This practice aims to analyze and identify the current suitability / conditions at Jone Slaughterhouse (RPH) to the implementation of the Environmental Management System from ISO clause 14001 to the operations of RPH Jone.This practice is useful as a study and information material as well as a study for interested parties to take concrete steps or policies in the development of the slaughterhouse business (RPH) based on the ISO 1400 Environmental Management System

Abstract

Pada tahun 1996 di Geneva, Swiss International Organization for Standardization (ISO) menerbitkan SML ISO 14001. Dimana hal tersebut dipercaya mampu membantu dalam menciptakan proses/mekanisme yang menyatu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan lingkungan dengan berkelanjutan yang dilakukan pada kegiatan produksi setiap hari (Rachman et al., 2019). Akan tetapi beberapa perusahaan mampu dan mau menerapkan Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan ISO 14001 karena diperlukan biaya yang besar tergantung dari fasilitas dan karakteristik perusahaan yang terdiri dari biaya audit rutin dan biaya investasi, selain itu SML ISO 14001 juga bersifat sukarela (Kamalia et al., 2020). Pelatihan merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan sesuai ISO 14001. Maka dalam penelitian ini lebih memfokuskan pada pelatihan apa saja yang telah diikuti oleh para staf pekerja setelah adanya SML ISO 14001:2015 yang telah dimiliki PT. X bidang kehutanan. Pratik evaluasi penerapan SML ISO 14001:2015 pada PT. X bidang kehutanan untuk dibidang pelatihan masih sangat minim dilakukan dan untuk pengelolaan lingkungan pada area basecamp, nursery, sudah cukup baik namun untuk area workshop dan area log pond masih perlu dilakukan peningkatan dalam pengelolaan lingkungannya.
