Abstract Sleeping Disorder and Coping Strategy of Clinical Nurses. Abstract

Introduction: Patients treated in hospitals with end-of-life patients are more likely to be in the intensive care room than patients treated in the standard care room because, if there is an end of life, they are moved to the inpatient room required the implementation of supervision on documenting the end of life care, so that the quality of service improves. Objective: To identify the relationship between supervision implementation and EoLC documentation in the intensive care room. Method: Cross-sectional design was used. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate were used to analyze. Results: The mean age was 35.68 ± 7.232 years, tenure 12.12 ± 7.623 years, 78.3% women, Nursing Diploma 64.2%, implementing nurses 95.8%, PNS 63.2%, PK2 44.8 % and have attended 55.7% training. The average supervision implementation was 51.20%, the technical dimension was 68.30%, the principal was 66.73%, the model was 64.47%, and the routine activities were 51.82%, and documentation was 74.17% EoLC. There is a significant relationship between supervision (techniques, principles, routine activities, and supervision models) with EoLC documentation. The dominant dimension of supervision is the supervision model with medium strength and a positive direction. There are three variables: gender, position, and supervision model can increase EoLC documentation by 27.8% (R2 = 0.278), while other variables can increase the rest. EoLC documentation equation = 75,479 + 3,763 Gender + (-8,366) Position + 2,108 Supervision Model. Conclusion: The nursing sector creates an SPO program to carry out supervision and documentation of EoLC to create effectiveness in nursing services that have an impact on patient quality and safety

Abstract

Nurse Work Stress During The COVID-19 Pandemic. COVID-19 does not only cause problems in physical conditions but also has the potential to cause problems in mental health, including for nurses who are at the forefront of handling COVID-19. This study aims to see a description of the work stress felt by nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic at a COVID-19 referral hospital. The sample consisted of 133 nurses. The results of the analysis show that the average work stress of nurses is 106.19 (32.2%). The highest perceived work stress was inadequate preparation 7.31 (47.8%), while the lowest perceived work stress was a conflict with nurses 10.02 (22.33%). The description of nurses' work stress in this study was lower than in previous studies. This can be because nurses are able to realize the pandemic conditions, work carefully and make better preparations. Management support is very much needed in making the right rules, especially in preventing and controlling the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.

According to that, it was influencing satisfaction and patient well-being. This study aims to identify the determinants of the ethical principles application in nursing. Descriptive, correlation, cross-sectional design was applied, through simple random sampling to 120 nurses. Data collecting used questionnaires, with univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyzes. Determinants of nursing ethic application principle were job characteristics, nurses knowledge related to nursing ethics, supervision by supervisor, relationship with colleagues, awards, the role of head nurse, and tenure (p = <0,001-0,049). The most dominant variable was job characteristics (p <0,001). These factors need an attention by hospital manager to keep evaluating the other factors in order to improve the application of ethical principles in nursing.

Characteristics of the CSE personality models have a moderate relationship and positive direction (p = 0, 0001, r = 0.496) with caring behavior, and the greatest correlation is self-efficacy (p = 0.0001, r = 0.528), and the lowest correlation is emotional stability (p = 0.0006, r = 0.243). While the DISC personality type and nurse characteristics have no relationship (p> 0.05). CSE personality model characteristics are related to nurses caring behaviour. While DISC personality type characteristics and nurse characteristics do not have a relationship with nurse caring behaviour. Abstract

This study aims to identify the determinants of nurses' commitment to providing nursing care in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used a cross-sectional approach involving 221 nurses and team leaders at two public hospitals in West Kalimantan. The results showed that the determinants of nurses' commitment in providing nursing care in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic were emotional intelligence (p=0.001) and superior support (p=0.009). Each additional emotional intelligence point and support from superiors will increase nurses' commitment to providing nursing care by 0.239 times and 0.125 times, respectively. Factors of age, length of work, gender, education level, marital status, and work unit room were not related to nursing commitment (p > 0.05). In conclusion, the factor most related to nurses' responsibility in providing nursing care in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic is emotional intelligence. Abstract

Patient safety culture is essential in creating a safe and healthy hospital environment. This study aims to portray nurses' perceptions of patient safety culture during the Pandemic in COVID-19 Referral Hospitals. This paper was a descriptive study. The population was nurses working in inpatient, Covid-19 isolation, intensive, and emergency rooms. In addition, the sample was 268 nurses with a stratified random sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire using Google Forms. It consisted of the demographic characteristics of respondents (name, gender, age, marital status, working time, education, nurse position, levels of nursing, and patient safety training) also nurses' perception of patient safety culture. The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPC) was an instrument to assess patient safety culture. Data analysis used IBM SPSS Statistics version 22.0 to describe the mean, median, minimum, and maximum values and presentation. Results showed that the mean patient safety culture among nurses in COVID-19 referral hospitals was 147.09 (62.55%). In addition, the lowest dimension of patient safety culture was feedback and communication (31.75%), while the highest was an organizational improvement (73.16%). Thus, the patient safety culture in the COVID-19 referral hospital still needed improvement. A good patient safety culture can increase patient safety and the quality of health services. Therefore, hospital management should optimize all dimensions of patient safety culture to ensure patient safety. Future research could explore predisposing factors of patient safety culture
