Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah Siswa kelas IV SDN 55 Kota Bima yaitu kelas IV yang berjumlah 37 orang. Pengambilan judul tersebut berawal dari hasil observasi peneliti terhadap kegiatan siswa tentang kurangnya motivasi dan prestasi siswa khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika yang berbentuk soal cerita. Permasalahan tersebut berkait dengan berbagai faktor, yaitu siswa yang kurang memiliki rasa senang dengan matematika sehingga menganggap matematika adalah pelajaran yang melelahkan dan membosankan, kurangnya motivasi membuat siswa merasa terbebani saat belajar matematika, soal-soal matematika yang kurang diambil dari kehidupan sehari-hari serta kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran yang terkesan membosankan dan kurang bervariasi. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas sejauh mana pendekatan realistik dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembalajaran matematika. Untuk menggambarkan keberhasilan tindakan diperlukan berbagai data yang di peroleh melalui observasi kelas, lembar kerja siswa, angket dan wawancara. Setelah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis sebagai hasil evaluasi. Pembelajaran matematika dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, data hasil penelitian dan refleksi. Pembelajaran bilangan bulat di lakukan dengan menggunakan dua model yaitu model garis bilangan dan model kancing baju. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menghindari kejenuhan pada saat pembelajaran. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya sikap antusias siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika, siswa termotivasi untuk mengerjakan setiap soal yang di berikan, mereka belajar bekerja sama dan tidak tergantung satu sama lain.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berfikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa serta untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkakn strategi Everyone Is A Teacher Here pada pembelajaran Matematika. Peneliti menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Subyek dan lokasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 55 Kota Bima yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari Silabus, RPP, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Lembar Observasi, Lembar kuesioner dan Lembar Tes evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berfikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan selama dua siklus dengan masing-masing persentase ketuntasan mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditentukan. Pembelajaran dengan menerapkan strategi Everyone Is A Teacher Here pada pembelajaran Matematika mendapat respon positif dari siswa sehingga layak diterapkan oleh guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of scrapbook media on students' creative thinking skills. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design with a sample of fifth grade students at SDN 59 Rasalewi, Bima City. The instruments used in this research are test instruments and observation sheets. Analysis of the data used in the form of percentage analysis for students' creative thinking skills, N-gain test and t-test. The results of data analysis show that from 21 students the total number of students is 76.19% or 16 students get the N-gain in the very high category and 23.81% or 5 students get the influence in the high category. The t-test results show that tcount = 2.259 > ttable = 1.725 (significant level = 0.05) so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using scrapbook media on students' creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Teachers still use many conventional methods. Finally, the students' participation is inactive to find concepts and determine their own solutions. Therefore, a constructivist approach to the material of the circle was applied to the students of SMP Negeri 1 Langgudu Kabupaten Bima. The constructivist approach is one of the learning approaches that enable students. The purpose of the research is to improve the understanding of student learning concepts and activities through the application of constructivist approach. The study was conducted with classroom action research procedures. Implemented two cycles that include: the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study are students of class VIII - A semester II junior high school consisting of 33 students. The research instrument used is 1) Test the learning outcomes given at the end of the learning cycle. 2) The observation sheet, used to obtain a direct description of the learning activities of mathematics through a constructivist approach. The data analyzed is mastery learning. The indicators are the increase in the average score of student learning outcomes, as well as student learning activities in each cycle. The results showed an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 58.97 with 'percentage mastery' 34.38%. In the second cycle, the average score of student learning outcomes of 84.36 with the percentage of '90.9% completeness. Student learning activities in the first cycle with an average score of 3.73 (active category), on the second cycle average score of 4.22 (active category). This value has been in accordance with research indicators that is an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that constructivist learning has increased the understanding of the concept of circle in students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan pembelajaran literasi dasar siswa kelas awal melalui model pembelajaran Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) pada 21 SD dan 4 MI yang Kabupaten Bima. Instrumen tes berupa tes diagnosis awal dan tes progres selama pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes lisan dan dilakukan dua kali tes yaitu tes awal dan tes progres untuk mengetahui perkembangan literasi membaca peserta didik. Pengelompokkan siswa di dasarkan pada level kemampuan membaca siswa, untuk level pemula dan huruf diberi nama kelompok A, level kata dan paragraph diberi nama kelompok B, dan level cerita diberi nama kelompok C. Setiap kelompok siswa dibimbing oleh masing-masing 2 orang guru. Setiap kelompok dibekali dengan modul pembelajaran TaRL yang terdiri dari beberapa paket kegiatan literasi. Pada kelompok A terdiri dari 12 paket, kelompok B sebanyak 11 paket, dan kelompok C sebanyak 10 paket kegiatan literasi. Pada akhir bulan kedua, maka dilakukan penilaian tengah (middle) untuk mengetahui perkembangan siswa dan pada akhir bulan ketiga dilakukan penilaian akhir (endline). Instrumen penilaian menggunakan instrument asesmen diagnostik dan dapat guru juga menggunakan instrument lain yang sejenis atau yang dikembangkan sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of basic literacy learning among early grade students based on their skill levels or through Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The research subjects consist of 15 third-grade students from Rompo Elementary School. The research instruments include initial diagnostic tests and progress tests conducted during the learning process. The research findings indicate that the first level group's approach involves introducing children to the smallest components of literacy skills, namely sounds and letters, as well as distinguishing various phonetic variations of these letters. In Group B, students enhance their reading fluency through regular reading exercises, building text comprehension skills, and starting to understand unusual combinations of letters and pronunciations. Group C engages in collaborative reading within small groups, answering a series of questions about the text, drawing conclusions about the meanings of foreign words, and transitioning from simple to complex conceptual understanding. Students are encouraged to practice writing daily, read together, and evaluate each other's work to strengthen their abilities in identifying spelling errors, grammar, and common punctuation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran TaRL terhadap literasi membaca peserta didik SD. Model penelitian yang diterapkan menggunakan proses pemebelajaran TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level). Model pembelajaran ini dikelompokan berdasarkan level pengetahuannya. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas I sampai kelas IV dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 374 untuk 6 sekolah di SD Kecamatan Monta Kabupaten Bima dan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik yaitu dengan cara tes lisan. Kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi lima level yaitu: (1) Level Pemula,(2) Level Huruf, (3) Level Kata, (4) Level Paragraf, (5) Level Cerita. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada level pemula sebesar 100 % peserta didik telah naik level, Pada level huruf sebesar 6% peserta didik telah naik level, kemudian pada level kata sebesar 47% peserta didik telah naik level, sedangkan level paragraf terjadi penambahan peserta didik sebanyak 12 orang, untuk level cerita sebesar 213% peserta didik telah naik level. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran TaRL dapat berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca peserta didik dengan persentase sebanyak 78% peserta didik telah mengalami peningkatan level kemampuan membaca.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research, it amis to describe the students’ difficulties in solving three-dimensional problems on the flat-side material. By using purposive sampling technique, then the subjects in this research were 3 students on grade VIII, that is subject KF, subject KK, subject KO and subject KP. For data collection, the instruments used are diagnostic test and interviews. The results showed that (1) Subject KF having facts difficulty relating to the inability to interpret the final results obtained; identify examples and non-example of the concept and an inability to assert concepts, inability to further identify the subject seen from an inability to answer correctly questions provided. The inability of the subject confirms looks of doubt in giving the reasons selecting and deselecting the image. Subject KK also have difficulty in distinguishing geometrical geometrical prism and pyramid; (3) Subject KO having operating difficulty. This is evident from the subject mistake in conducting the operation. Subject KO wrong in doing operations related to the sequence of operations and how to solve equations using division; and (4) Subject KP having principle difficulty. This is evident from the inability of the subject determines the appropriate formula with the given problem. Subject KP capable of memorizing formulas but can not adjust the formula to the problem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze patterns of students' thinking interaction during group discussions in statistics learning and examine their impact on conceptual understanding, particularly across different levels of academic ability. A qualitative approach was employed using discourse and interaction analysis. Data were collected through classroom observations, video/audio recordings, transcription of student discussions, students' written work, and in-depth interviews. These instruments enabled comprehensive documentation and triangulation of students' verbal and behavioral interactions. Twelve junior high school students were selected and categorized into high, medium, and low academic ability groups. Discourse structures were analyzed using the Sinclair & Coulthard model (to identify classroom discourse moves) and Mercer's framework (to detect exploratory and cumulative talk). Furthermore, interaction patterns were categorized using the ICAP model—which distinguishes passive, active, constructive, and interactive engagement—and Bales’ Interaction Process Analysis (IPA), which classifies social-emotional and task-related behaviors in small groups. The findings revealed that groups with explorative interaction patterns demonstrated deeper conceptual understanding, facilitated by active questioning, argument construction, and peer clarification. In contrast, static interaction groups were characterized by passive reception and rote learning, while counterproductive groups showed fragmented participation and communication breakdowns. These results confirm the vital role of interaction quality in supporting conceptual development. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of discourse- and interaction-based frameworks to reveal how different thinking dynamics shape learning outcomes in heterogeneous academic groups. Practically, the study highlights the importance of scaffolding, open-ended questioning, and structured facilitation to promote argumentation-rich discussions. These strategies are essential for fostering critical thinking and improving students’ understanding of statistics concepts.

Abstract

This report discusses the dedication to strengthening literary material for Indonesian Language Education lecturers at FKIP Bumi Persada University. The aim of his service is to increase the understanding and competence of lecturers in teaching and studying Indonesian literature. The initial needs analysis involves surveys and interviews to identify faculty shortages and challenges. The program includes seminars, group discussions, and teaching practice. The results show an increase in lecturers' understanding and competence, enabling the application of more varied teaching methods and more in-depth analysis of literary works. This program provides significant reinforcement of literary material, with a positive impact on teaching and student learning in the field of Indonesian literature. The success of this activity is measured from the process and results of the training. The success of the process is measured by observing several aspects of attitude, such as activeness, cooperation and responsibility. Performance assessment is carried out when participants in groups discuss the results of developing their literary material. Evaluation of activity results is measured based on mastery of training material which includes the results of independent practice, namely compiling Indonesian language literary material.
