Abstract

Stemming is the process of finding the basic word of a word in the text. The stemming algorithm built by Nazief-Adriani is the best stemming algorithm for Indonesian, and has been refined by Asian Jelita. However, references related to the Nazief-Adriani stemming algorithm are still difficult to find given that the algorithm is an internal publication. Therefore, in this study, will be built stemming algorithm for Indonesian news digital text based on the stemming algorithm Nazief-Adriani and Jelita Asian. The evaluation in this study was done before and after the addition of rules and more complete basic word dictionary. Both evaluations were performed by calculating Precision, Recall and F-Measure values between automatic and manual stemming results. Preliminary tests of the stemming algorithm Nazief-Adriani and Jelita Asian found some new basic words, abbreviations, entities and foreign terms that appear common in the news text but have not stored in the basic word dictionary. Furthermore, there are some unrecognized affixed words in defined rules. The addition of basic words, abbreviations, entities and foreign terms to the basic word dictionary, along with the addition of rules can improve the performance of the stemming algorithm built on this study. Thus, the completeness basic word dictionary and the accuracy of rules play a very important role in the success of an automatic stemming algorithm.

Abstract

The Indonesian Language Sign System (SIBI) is a medium used by deaf people to communicate with the wider community. SIBI is Indonesian that is presented by hand. The sentence structure (morphology) of SIBI is the same as the Indonesian language, SIBI also recognizes the prefix, principal and suffix sign word. This research discusses how to make stemming for SIBI, the algorithm used for stemming is Nazief Adiri. Stemming for SIBI separates input sentences, words through the Text Processing process. Then the word in Stemming so that it can be separated into prefix, main, and suffix words. After stemming, the words obtained in indexing can find the right SIBI, by using ID. Good stemming must pay attention to Indonesian Morphology. The number of words used for this stemming trial is 50 words. By using the Confusion Matrix method found 0.94% accuracy, 93% recall, and 84% precision.

Abstract

Abstract— An induction motors (IM) in many industries is used because it has several advantages, such as a very simple and strong construction, the price is relatively cheap, has good efficiency, power factor is quite good, and maintenance is easier. Besides the advantages of induction motors also have disadvantages, one disadvantage of induction motors is not being able to maintain a constant speed when there is a change in load. If the load changes, the speed of the induction motor will decrease. One method of regulating the speed of an induction motor presented in this study is the regulation of an induction motor using a carrier based PWM (CBPWM) inverter with the field oriented control (FOC) technique. The estimation of rotor rotation, torque and flux is done by carrier- based PWM technique which is given input voltage and stator current. To achieve the desired flux and torque, estimation is used as feedback in the control system. In this study, it will be simulated the induction motor speed regulation with a carrier base-based inverter using Matlab. The results obtained through simulation show the length of time to reach the reference speed for speeds of 1500 rpm and 1450 rpm is around 0.45 seconds. And THD average 2,675%.

Abstract

Natural dyes are economically and environmentally superior to ruthenium-based dyes because they are cheap and non-toxic. In this study, natural dyes were extracted from mangosteen peel waste. Color extraction was carried out with three types of solvents (distilled water, methanol and ethanol) which had been acidified with 10% citric acid and with a ratio of material: solvent (1: 4, 1: 6, 1: 8 w / v). The photochemical properties are studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometer and FTIR spectroscopy. The absorption peak of the three types of solvent occurs at different wavelengths. The presence of carbonyl (C = O) and hydroxyl (OH) groups contained in anthocyanins can attach coloring to the surface of TiO2. Ethanol solvents with a ratio of 1: 8 produce the lowest photon energy at wavelength and absorption coefficient of 539.00 nm and 2,008 km-1 respectively. The lowest band gap of the dye helps electrons move rapidly from the valence band to the conduction band and only requires less energy for electron recombination which will increase the performance of the DSSC.

Abstract

The southern side of Subak Babakan Yeh Kuning has an agricultural irrigation water shortage due to the dry season’s drought. In 2016, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing resolved that by giving diesel-powered irrigation water pump system and groundwater irrigation network, however the high operations cost resulted an abandonment of it. This study conducted a solar power plant design for submersible pumps at the southern side of Subak Babakan Yeh Kuning by calculating the amount of irrigation water needed, designing the solar power plant and the investment costs, and comparing the operations cost between the new and old system. Based on the design, the capacity of the solar power plant was set at 12,54 kWp using 33 solar module units and a 18,5 kW inverter unit. The pump could operate for 5 hours and 30 minutes on a sunny weather with a water discharge of 253 m3 or fulfill 17,5% of water needs for an area of 16-hectare. The investment costs of the solar power plant pump system were IDR 171.193.500. The operations cost of the new system (solar-powered) per hectare was IDR 6.495/day. Meanwhile, the operations cost of the old system (diesel-powered) per hectare was IDR 15.950/day.
