Abstract

Kebakaran hutan dan lahan merupakan masalah serius yang terus berulang setiap tahun di Provinsi Riau. Upaya terus dilakukan untuk mencegah terulangnya bencana ini. Salah satunya dengan membangun dan mengembangkan Satuan Tugas Pengendalian (satgas karhutla) yang dapat memberikan respons cepat dan terkoordinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengambangan organisasi satgas karhutla Riau berdasarkan mekanisme pembentukannya dan juga model empat arus informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pemangku kepentingan, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Berdasarkan model empat arus informasi ditemukan hubungan antara anggota satgas dengan organisasi satgas karhutla tidaklah sekuat hubungan mereka terhadap instansi induk di mana mereka berasal. Setiap anggota tim satgas lebih banyak berinteraksi dalam organisasi di mana mereka bertugas. Tata hubungan kerja tim satgas karhutla Provinsi Riau berdasarkan struktur yang telah ditetapkan oleh gubernur, dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi masing-masing bagian dijabarkan dalam peraturan gubernur. Interaksi antar anggota satgas lebih kuat terjadi pada level pimpinan yang sering berkoordinasi untuk persiapan dan perencanaan pengendalian karhutla, dan level tapak pada kelompok tim patroli terpadu yang selalu melakukan aktivitas pencegahan dan penanggulangan karhutla bersama-sama. Pada ekosistem pengendalian karhutla, satgas merupakan bagian dari ekosistem pengendalian karhutla secara global. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan masukan untuk pemangku kepentingan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas Satgas Karhutla dalam upaya pengendalian kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

Supervisi dalam konteks pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan supervisi di SD Lazuardi Tursina, Banyuwangi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian melibatkan supervisor atau kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi memiliki dampak positif terhadap profesionalisme guru, pengembangan diri, dan implementasi metode pembelajaran inovatif. Supervisor berperan sebagai agen perubahan yang membantu guru menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan. Kolaborasi antara supervisor dan guru menjadi kunci dalam mencapai kualitas pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami kompleksitas peran supervisi dalam mendukung pendidikan yang adaptif, progresif, dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci : Supervisi, Kualitas Pembelajaran, Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Technology has become an integral part of everyday life, including in education. This study aims to analyze the integration of visual thinking-based contextualization approach in learning photosynthesis material in grade 4 elementary school. Visual thinking helps students understand concepts visually, while the contextualization approach connects academic material with real situations relevant to students. This study used qualitative method with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through analyzing user responses in the comments column to the types of photosynthesis learning videos found on the YouTube platform such as animated videos, experiments, and scientific presentations. The results of this study show that the variety of video types supports students' learning preferences. Animations facilitate visualization, experiments offer hands-on experience, and scientific presentations deepen concepts. The integration of visual thinking and contextualization creates a positive and interactive learning experience for students.

Abstract

This study uses a mixed-methods approach to examine the perspectives of snake owners in Indonesia regarding snakes, venomous species, and snakebite management. A survey was distributed to 1,109 respondents, with 109 participants) forming the core group for analysis. The research aims to assess snake owners’ knowledge about venomous snakes, handling snakebites, and myths surrounding these reptiles. Findings indicate that while the public generally fears snakes, many reptile enthusiasts in Indonesia keep snakes as pets for reasons such as hobby, conservation, and education. However, a significant gap in knowledge exists regarding the identification of venomous versus non-venomous snakes, with some respondents unable to distinguish between them accurately. Additionally, while most respondents recognized the importance of immobilization following a snake bite, some still believed in outdated and dangerous practices, such as suctioning or cutting the wound. The study also uncovered that while most participants view snakes as ordinary creatures, a small portion still holds superstitions, such as believing snakes are evil spirits. This perpetuates fear and misunderstanding of snakes. In conclusion, the research highlights the need for better education on snake identification, proper bite management, and debunking myths to improve the safety of snake keeping in Indonesia. Increased public awareness and accurate information can help mitigate the risks of keeping snakes as pets and foster a more informed and responsible approach to reptile care.

Abstract

Partisipasi warga dalam promosi pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik suatu destinasi wisata. Namun, warga di sekitar Waduk Jatigede, Kabupaten Sumedang, menghadapi kendala dalam menyusun konten promosi wisata berbasis media sosial akibat keterbatasan keterampilan dan pemahaman mengenai strategi penulisan yang efektif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, tim abdimas Program Studi Jurnalistik Universitas Padjadjaran mengadakan pelatihan penulisan konten promosi wisata bagi warga di lima desa di Kecamatan Jatigede. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan warga dalam menyusun dan mengelola konten media sosial yang menarik dan informatif guna mendukung promosi wisata lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah pendekatan andragogi yang berpusat pada partisipasi aktif peserta dengan teknik tutorial, diskusi, dan praktik menulis. Materi pelatihan mencakup strategi penyusunan konten promosi, pemilihan platform media sosial yang sesuai, serta etika dan teknik penulisan digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan dalam memahami teknik penulisan konten yang efektif, dibuktikan dengan kemampuan mereka menghasilkan konten yang lebih sistematis dan menarik. Selain itu, sebagian besar peserta menyatakan ketertarikan untuk terus mengembangkan keterampilan ini melalui pelatihan lanjutan. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas warga dalam memanfaatkan media sosial untuk promosi pariwisata. Untuk keberlanjutan program, diperlukan pendampingan dan kolaborasi lebih lanjut antara akademisi, pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat setempat guna memperkuat partisipasi warga dalam industri pariwisata digital.

Abstract

Menjelang Pemilu 2024, terpaan informasi politik meluap, termasuk disinformasi terkait isu Pemilu yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alat propaganda untuk memengaruhi opini publik. Tingginya intensitas disinformasi mampu menyebabkan perpecahan sosial dan membawa kekacauan informasi yang sulit dipulihkan. Penelitian ini memetakan isi publikasi cek fakta pada rubrik “Hoaks atau Fakta” di Kompas.com terkait isu Pemilu 2024 selama periode kampanye (28 November 2023 – 10 Februari 2024). Pemetaan dilakukan berdasarkan tipologi disinformasi dari Wardle yang terbagi atas 7 jenis, tau parodi, konten menyesatkan, konten tiruan, konten buatan, koneksi palsu, konteks keliru, serta konten manipulasi. Penelitian ini turut menganalisa tema serta format yang terdapat didalam setiap tipologi. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan analisis isi kuantitatif. Dilakukan proses coding menggunakan indikator tipologi disinformasi oleh Wardle, serta indikator tema dan format berdasarkan temuan terdahulu. Penelitian ini menganalisis 98 sampel dengan temuan adanya 6 dari 7 tipologi disinformasi, memuat 11 tema disinformasi dan tersebar dalam 4 format. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan, disinformasi jenis konfigurasi ulang mendominasi, lebih dari setengah sampel. Tipologi koneksi palsu menjadi jenis tertinggi dalam penyebarannya. Dalam temuan tipologi koneksi palsu, terdapat 9 dari 11 tema, dimana dukungan/pengakuan ke paslon paling dominan dan semuanya tersebar dalam format video. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan tipologi konten tiruan dalam publikasi yang diteliti. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tipologi disinformasi relevan sebagai referensi untuk mengelompokkan jenis disinformasi. Pengelompokkan ini penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terkait jenis disinformasi seperti apa yang banyak tersebar selama masa kampanye Pemilu, karena semuanya bersifat menipu dan merugikan. Abstract

A feature video is an audiovisual work designed to convey information through a narrative and emotional approach. In this final project, the author highlights the issue of education for street children through a feature video titled "Tangan Kecil, Pena Besar". The Author served as the Director of Photography (DOP), focusing on the application of cinematographic techniques to enhance visual quality and message delivery. The purpose of this project is to explain the techniques of cinematography, including type of shot, camera angle, camera movement, and lighting. The creation process consists of three stages, pre-production (brainstorming, storyboard and shot list development), production (filming interviews and activity scenes), and post-production (editing and visual finalization). The type of shot technique is used to frame subjects in various sizes, camera angles provide specific viewpoints to shape visual perception; camera movement helps create dramatic mood and atmosphere, while lighting is applied to illuminate subjects and ensure visual clarity. The final result shows that a solid understanding and effective application of these techniques can strengthen the human interest aspect and create engaging, emotionally impactful visuals. In conclusion, the appropriate use of cinematographic techniques significantly enhances storytelling in feature videos, making them a powerful medium for voicing social issues.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe a project-based learning strategy (PjBL) with Problem-based Learning (PBL) towards reviewed learning independence from student discipline. The research method used in this study is Quantitative with the model or approach of quasi-experimental design (pretest-posttest) as the design. The study was conducted from March to July 2023 in Class II SDN 2 Cibeuti, Tasikmalaya, West Java. Counting is the chosen learning material. Data collection techniques use tests and nontes. In this study, the test (pretest-posttest) is a double-choice test, while the non-test consists of documentation, interviews with teachers, and student discipline observation sheets. These are all used to evaluate learning processes and outcomes, including student activities. With a total of 25 students in the experimental and control classes. The data analysis techniques used are obtained from the test results of the independent value of learning mathematics as well as from the use of statistics. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis of independent learning mathematics results pre-testposttest using SPSS 25 for Windows Data from the research results showed that class II students at SDN 2 Cibeuti, Tasikmalaya, had significant learning independence when implementing PjBL and PBL strategies. In an effort to improve the independence of students in class II on math subjects in SDN 2 Cibeuti, statistical tests showed that the significance of posttest results in both classes is less than 0.05. Analysis of the results of independent mathematical learning showed significant improvements using PjBL strategies in the experimental class, with an average posttest score (96.00) higher than the mean posttest value for the PBL strategy in the control class (62.40). The results of this study show that the PjBL strategy is more effective than the PBL strategy. Therefore, it can be concluded that the project-based learning strategy (PjBL) is effective.

Abstract

Human-elephant conflict in Tesso Nilo National Park (TNTN) poses serious challenges to wildlife conservation and ecosystem management. Reduced habitat through deforestation and expanding oil palm plantations has increased negative interactions between communities and Sumatran elephants (Elephas maximus sumatranus), causing economic losses and threatening the sustainability of the species. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study analyzes communication strategies to mitigate human-elephant conflict. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis from various stakeholders, including buffer village communities and governmental organizations. Research findings indicate that communication barriers, such as low policy transparency, lack of socialization, and insufficient community involvement in conservation policy formulation, exacerbate the conflict. Drawing on participatory communication theory, this study recommends strategies based on multi-party dialogues, community-based education, and communication technology for conflict mitigation. The results contribute todeveloping more inclusive and sustainable conservation policies and can be adapted to manage human-wildlife conflicts in other protected areas.

Abstract

The scriptwriter plays a crucial role in determining the idea and concept of the story that will be translated into the video script. As a key element in video production, including video features, the scriptwriter is responsible for structuring the foundational story that will serve as a guide for the entire production team in developing supporting elements of the video. The creativity of the scriptwriter is reflected in the final work, which ultimately produces a high-quality and watchable video. The aim of this research is to explain the implementation of the Three-Act Structure in the scriptwriting of the video feature titled “Ogah Jadi Petani: Pewaris yang Krisis”, which includes Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3. The synthesis analysis of Act 1 (Setup) is described by the introduction of the situation and explanation of the issues raised. In Act 2 (Confrontation), the character is shown facing various challenges and obstacles. Meanwhile, in Act 3 (Resolution), the implementation of the Three-Act Structure culminates in a climax with well-organized narration, making the work a cohesive whole. In conclusion, the scriptwriter successfully conveyed the implementation of the Three-Act Structure in the scriptwriting of the video feature “Ogah Jadi Petani: Pewaris yang Krisis”
