Abstract

As a adiluhung (valuable art), Wayang Golek performances can contribute to the strengthening of the character of the young generation in facing various challenges in the era of disruption. This is very important, considering that in the era of disruption such as the current challenge for the younger generation in facing the industrial era 4.0 is the loss of character as an Indonesian nation. This study aims to reveal the contribution of Wayang Golek performances values to the strengthening of the character of the younger generation in the era of disruption. The research approach used is qualitative with ethnographic methods, so that it can describe the character values contained in the Wayang Golek performances that are relevant to the character of the Indonesian nation. The results showed that the values of the Wayang Golek performances could contribute to the strengthening of the character of the younger generation. This is because the puppet show is aesthetically designed as an art performance that contains elements of the spectacle as well as guidance. This means, in addition to entertaining through humorous jokes, the Wayang Golek performance is able to give a moral message to the audience about the importance of religious values and nationalism in the face of changing times.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 hadir di seluruh dunia dan memberikan banyak dampak dari segi sosial hingga ekonomi. Indonesia termasuk salah satu yang tetap berjuang untuk mempertahankan perekonomian dengan syarat agar tetap mengikuti Surat Keputusan yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan. Protokol kesehatan di harapkan dapat mengurangi penyebaran dari Covid-19. Isi dari Protokol Kesehatan ialah adanya pembatasan sosial dan kontak fisik. Seluruh kegiatan dilakukan di rumah, dari kerja hingga Pendidikan. Tetapi masih banyak orang-orang yang masih memiliki kepentingan untuk keluar rumah bahkan hingga menolak untuk mengikuti protokol kesehatan yang telah ditentukan. Peneliti melakukan ini dengan 53 sample remaja yang tersebar di Kota Bandung. Ada sekitar 77.4% yang merasa telah melaksanakan Protokol Kesehatan dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan Keputusan yang buat oleh Kementerian Kesehatan.

Abstract

Bandung has become Indonesia’s most congested city, based on a survey from the Asia Development Bank in October 2019. Traffic congestion can affect a person’s physical and psychological condition. This situation encourages a driver to behave aggressively to quickly reach their destination. This study aims to analyze the effect of traffic congestion on Jalan Raya Kopo on the motorcyclists’ aggressive behavior. The method used is quantitative- descriptive. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 respondents with the criteria of motorcyclists who frequently passes Jalan Raya Kopo, aged 17-35 years. The researcher tested the classical assumptions, which included tests for normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. Then an analysis with a simple regression analysis in the form of F test, t test, and R2 is used to analyze the effect of congestion on aggressive driving. The results showed that congestion influenced aggressive driving behavior by 28.9%, while the other 71.1% were influenced by other variables outside the test in this study.
