Abstract

The Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry and Trade of Aceh Jaya is an agency engaged in the industrial sector. Assessment of work behavior is one of the most important things in a service or agency that aims to guarantee the objectivity of fostering civil servants (PNS) in terms of assessment to reduce the subjectivity factor. The purpose of this study was to obtain criteria and sub-criteria for assessing the results of the work behavior of civil servants in the industrial sector at the Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry, Trade in Aceh Jaya, an agency engaged in the industrial sector. The methods used to assess employee performance are the Analytical Network Process (ANP) and Rating Scale methods. The Analytical Network Process (ANP) method is used to weight each criterion and sub-criteria while the rating scale method is used to assess employee work behavior. The results showed that through ANP, the weight of each criterion was obtained, namely service orientation (0.048), integrity (0.05), commitment (0.048), discipline (0.073), cooperation (0.082), leadership (0.071) and community service (0.125). Employees civil servants who are assessed for work behavior using the rating scale method have different values, from the 5 employees the highest score is Employee 4, (4.259907), and the lowest score is employee 1,2,3 and 5 respectively (3 ,7289214). Abstract

The West Aceh Regency Library and Archives Service is an agency engaged in carrying out general government tasks, building libraries, and providing services openly to its users regardless of age, education, and social status factors in society. However, there are still some problems that make visitors unsatisfied, including incomplete and non-specific book collection facilities, lack of the latest published books, placement of books on shelves that do not match the location, and inadequate facilities in the reading room. This study aims to determine and categorize the attributes that are considered important from the desire of visitors to know the quality of services provided by the West Aceh District Library and Archives Service using the canoe method. The Kano method is one of the simple methods that can improve products and services to customers. This method is a model that classifies attributes and is analyzed based on customer perceptions, and the effect on customer satisfaction. The results of calculating the average value of service quality in all dimensions of the canoe method show that visitors are not satisfied enough and there are still deficiencies in service quality at the West Aceh Regency Library and Archives Service. Of the 22 attributes, some attributes need to be improved, namely one-dimensional category attributes 5,8,9,11,14,16, and 19, indifferent category attributes 10,13,15,17,18,20,21 and 22, attributes The ones that are maintained are the attractive 12 categories and the attributes that need to be improved are the must-be categories 1,2,3,4,6, and 7 which illustrate that the more an attribute does not function properly, the visitor satisfaction will decrease.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah sarana menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi hasil penelitian kepada masyarakat luas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen Program Studi Teknik Industri Fakultas Teknik Universitas Teuku Umar. Kegiatan ini bertemakan Digitalisasi Bisnis UMKM Aceh Barat-Selatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Aula Korpus IBT Universitas Teuku Umar, Kabupaten Aceh Barat, Provinsi Aceh. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan branding para pelaku bisnis UMKM Aceh Barat-Selatan. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari pelaku bisnis, mahasiswa yang berminat menggeluti bisnis UMKM serta tenant korpus IBT universitas Teuku Umar yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Desember 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian diawali dengan pemaparan materi yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab. Pengetahuan tentang branding bisnis digital disampaikan kepada para peserta dengan harapan dapat diterapkan dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil bisnis dan penyebarluasan cakupan pemasaran produk-produk unggulan. Peserta sangat antusias dalam mendengar materi yang disampaikan terlihat dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan seputar branding bisnis digital. Saling berbagi informasi antara pemateri dan para pelaku bisnis UMKM membuka wawasan dan meningkatkan keterampilan branding produk yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penghasilan para pelaku bisnis UMKM.

Abstract

Worker safety is a critical factor in the continuity of an oil palm industry because the progress of the palm oil industry is also influenced by the availability of safety guarantees for its workers. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the highest percentage of accident risk assessment was at the sterilizer work station (boiling FFB) using the HIRARC method, namely in the activity of pulling the cable sling from the winch and then attaching the hook to the lorry from the transfer carriage with 25 the risk of accidents occurring with a percentage of 33.33 % and categorized into extreme, for the second highest accident risk assessment, namely in the activity of pulling a lorry using a winch and in the activity of opening the sterilizer door and lowering the sterilizer bridge with a work accident risk of 16 times with a percentage rate of 21.33% and categorized into high incident and the risk of work accidents, namely in the activity of releasing the hook and carrying it then installing it to the last lorry and in the activity of pulling and carrying sling cables from the winch with a risk of accidents of 9 times the incidence of work accidents with a percentage rate of 12.00% and categorized into incident medium. Keywords: Minimizing the Risk of Occupational Accidents and the HIRARC Method

Abstract

Education research data analysis workshop using SPSS software is one form of higher education Tridharma that must be implemented by lecturers, namely community service. The purpose of this workshop is to provide insight and knowledge about data processing using statistics assisted by SPSS software, especially among teachers of TK Muslimat NU 29 Mahkota Gresik. This workshop was attended by 21 participants from TK Muslimat NU 29 Mahkota Gresik. The workshop was held for 1 day starting at 08.00 WIB - 16.00 WIB, on 27 January 2019 to be precise. The material provided at this workshop included descriptive statistics, data distribution measures, data centering measures, hypothesis testing and correlation analysis. The feedback from this workshop was to provide training in analyzing data using SPSS software. The final result of this workshop participants were able to analyze data using SPSS software.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses belajar mengajar di dalam sebuah perguruan tinggi. Selain melaksanakan proses belajar, aktivitas lain mahasiswa juga sangat penting dalam berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan mutu akreditasi program studi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja yang dapat dijadikan point-point kontribusi mahasiswa dalam akreditasi program studi. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini berupa ceramah. Dari hasil ceramah tersebut didapatkan hasil yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap mahasiswa yang langsung merealisasikannya berupa kegiatan sosialisasi promosi program studi ke sekolah menengah atas, dan minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti kompetisi di luar kampus. Maka dari itu, penyampaian sosialisasi kotribusi apa saja yang perlu dilakukan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan mutu akreditasi program studi merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Hal-hal yang perlu dilakukan mahasiswa yaitu (1) meningkatkan prestasi mahasiswa dalam bidang apapun, (2) memahami visi misi program studi, CPL, CPMK, fasilitas kampus, aturan kampus, (3) Profil lulusan yang bekerja sesuai bidang dan masa tunggu yang tidak lama, (4) Meningkatkan peminat program studi, dan (5) Adanya ikatan keluarga alumnni yang mendukung kinerja program studi.

Abstract

PT. Ujong Neubok Dalam is a company engaged in the plantation and processing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm which produces the main product, namely palm kernel oil (PKO). The quality of palm kernel oil is influenced by water, dirt, and free fatty acids. Production quality can be good if the established standards produce the product. To achieve the established product quality, companies often experience obstacles that can cause defects, thereby reducing product quality. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of defects and the causes of defects against the standards set by the company using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method and to describe improvement efforts. In using the SQC method, there are 5 tools used for quality control, namely check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control chart diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. Based on the results of data processing, the highest percentage of defects is the Free Fatty Acid content of 93%, Water content of 6%, and dirty content of 1%. The high number of defects is caused by work method factors, humans, machines, and materials. Improvement efforts that can be made are by providing training, supervision, routine machine maintenance, and preventing the accumulation of nuts in the factory.

Abstract

Saat ini di Fakultas Teknik sendiri sudah memiliki empat program studi di dalamnya dengan total mahasiswa aktif ±1500 dengan bertambahnya mahasiswa baru pada semester ganjil tahun 2021. Berdasarkan observasi awal, pengalaman, pengamatan, dan wawancara ditengah pandemi covid 19 sistem akademik FT UTU terkendala disaat mengurus administrasi kampus menggunakan shift bergantian, lamanya proses administrasi yang belum berjalan secara efisien. Tujuan Penelitian untuk menentukkan atribut yang berpengaruh paada tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa pada sistem pelayanan akademik FT UTU dimasa pandemi covid dan menentukan nilai tiap atribut dengan servqual dan model kano. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode servqual digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi atribut apa saja yang harus dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan kualitas pelayanannya sedangkan model Kano untuk mengukur kepuasan pelanggan. Metode servqual merupakan metode yang mengidentifikasi kualitas pelayanan berdasrkan tingkat persepsi dan harapan sedangkan model kano digunakan untuk kategorikan atribut yang diiginkan oleh konsumen.  Hasil penelitian nilai servqual (Q) masih dibawah 1 atau 0,88 ≤ 1 nilai rata-rata kualitas pelayanan servqual sebesar 0,88 yang berarti kualitas pelayanan di Akademik FT UTU masih belum baik karena nilai dibawah ≤ 1 atau 0,88 ≤ 1. Sedangkan pada model kano atribut yang pada rentang kategori  grade 1-6 diambil dari must-be.

Abstract

The implementation of this training was themed Utilization of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Media in Elementary Schools. The purpose of this training is to increase students' awareness of the importance of information and communication technology-based learning media in elementary schools. The training participants were students of SDN Ujong Patihah. The training participants took part in socialization in the form of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers regarding technology-based learning media. The output of this training is to open students' insights as the younger generation who live in the millennial era and in facing the industrial revolution 4.0, it is hoped that this will further improve technology-based learning media. In addition, the younger generation must also have qualified skills or abilities so that they can easily adapt to various technological developments, and not be increasingly left behind and lost in local and global competition. Technological developments have made it easier for the younger generation to learn both online and offline.

Abstract

XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri pengolahan Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK) terletak di desa Padang Panyang, Kecamatan Kuala Pesisir, Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Perusahaan ini memproduksi AMDK dengan kemasan dalam ukuran220 ml. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang sebaiknya dijalankan oleh CV. XYZ dalam memasarkan produknya. Metode Fred R David merupakan metode untuk usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan penjualan di CV. XYZ. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil dari metode Fred R David, strategi yang harus dijalankan yaitu SO artinya perusahaan harus menciptakan strategi yang menggunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang dengan nilai total nilai IFE (2,556169), EFE (2,786290) dan TAS (10,68492). Usulan perbaikannya untuk kekuatan yaitu air minum yang dihasilkan harus memiliki kualitas air TDS 0 dan tidak berbau, lokasi pabrik harus dekat dengan sumber mata air yang berlimpah, meningkatkan jumlah agen sebagai jaringan distribusi dan memberikan harga yang bersaing kepada agen, dengan kualitas produk yang baik. Sedangkan untuk peluang yaitu air minum dengan merk kuades harus terkenal di kalangan masyarakat, kualitas airnya harus dijaga agar bagus dibandingkan produk lain dan jaringan distribusi perlu di perbanyak lagi.
