Abstract

This study aims to develop a differentiated Make a Match learning model to enhance the emotional and social well-being (student well-being) of elementary school students in Bumijawa Subdistrict, Tegal Regency. The research employs a Research and Development (RD) method with a mixed-methods approach, utilizing questionnaires, observations, and documentation as instruments. The model is designed to address issues in conventional learning, which tend to be less interactive, resulting in low student motivation and suboptimal social relationship building. The findings reveal that the differentiated Make a Match model effectively enhances student engagement, learning motivation, and positive relationships between students and teachers. This approach provides an inclusive learning experience by accommodating students' diverse needs and abilities. The study makes a significant contribution to supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and fostering a holistic, student-centered learning environment.

The rapid advancement of the times demands that the world of education prepare students with skills relevant to the 21st century. One approach believed to be effective in addressing this challenge is Project Based Learning (PjBL). The method used in this study is the Research and Development (RD) approach, employing the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In the needs analysis stage, data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to teachers. The analysis results indicate a high need for the development of project-based learning (PjBL); most teachers are aware of the importance of integrating 21st-century skills into learning. The development of Project Based Learning (PjBL) teaching modules is deemed highly necessary. Students' needs also highlight the necessity for a learning approach that is engaging, contextual, and encourages the development of critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity skills.
