Abstract

Abstract. PT. Semen Padang uses an open mining system using the Quarry method, a heavy a heavy equipment used by PT. Semen Padang is a HD komatsu 785-7 conveyance for transporting limestone from the front to the crusher. fuel is a contributor to mining operating costs the biggest. The hauling distance from the PNBP 9 front to dumping around 2,1 Km i, and the road grade exceeds the company standard, the company standard for grade is 10%, while there are 17,8% of real estate in the road grade, with such hauling distance and grade will certainly affect the operational costs of hauling, the age of the equipment transport often suffers damage, so the costs incurred large seen from the maintenance and replacement of spareparts.This method utilizes a simple linear regression, the HD komatsu 785-7 hauling distance has a 93% influence and for the influence of HD komatsu 785-7 hauling road grade DK-16 units are 89%, DK-17 is 97%, DK-18 is 92% and DK-19 has an influence of 96%. For the DK-16 fuel consumption costs Rp. 124.896.510 DK-17 is Rp. 220.604.835, DK-18 is Rp. 67.737.900, and DK-19 is Rp. 145.370.100. Abstract

Based on data of coal production at PT. Artamulia Tatapratama (ATP) from January to May 2017. The coal production target was not reached in February-May 2017, while coal production in January 2017 was achieved. This is caused by several constraints in coal production activities, because of these constraints cause effective working hours at PT. ATP is reduced. From this problem, it is necessary to analyze the optimal time from losstime to reach the established coal production plan. To get the optimal time in achieving the production plan is done by multiple linear regression analysis, the results obtained from this analysis is the maximum limit of the time losstime, and to determine the optimal time of losstime is using simulation of linear equation regression. The optimal timing of the digging equipment in achieving the daily production of coal based on the results of the simulation of statistical analysis when idle time of 3 units of unloading equipment operates for 7.67 hours, the delay time allowed from the equipment is 12.99 hours, while if the delay time is 14.78 hours, the idle time allowed only 6.03. After knowing the problem causing decrease of working time of digging and unloading equipment (losstime), it is necessary to improve corrective action to be applied in the field.Keywords:  Production, Losstime, Statistical Analysis, Optimal Time, Coal Mining

Abstract

Abstract.PT. Mandala Karya Prima (MKP) is a mining contractor who undertake mining activities in Pit B Rawa Selatan, District and Sub-District Sembakung Sesayap Hilir, Nunukan and Tana Tidung, North Kalimantan Province. Based on the analysis of rainfall data in 2008-2017, the planned rainfall was 95,403 mm / day. Research location, Pit B South Rawa PT. MKP, the actual condition in 2018 has 2 catchment areas with different areas, there is peat runoff water with a discharge of 184.000 m3 / hour, there are 2 sumps namely temporary sump A5 and main sump A2. Recommended temporary dimensions of A5 sump with a maximum volume of 416.520 m3, elevation control on main sump with +16 water elevation, making an open channel in the North A5 Inpit Dump area. In 2019 the authors planned 4 catchment areas with different areas, there were 3 sumps, namely temporary sump A5, temporary sump A6 and main sump A2. The author plans elevation control with a water elevation of +16 in 2019 in the main sump A2 area, making 2 open channels namely in the higwall and lowwall mine areas. The pumping system was carried out using HDPE pipes and 10 pumps unit merk Multiflo 420 EXHV. Abstract

Abstract. Tambang Air Laya (TAL) has two pits that are operating in 2018 is the W est TAL Pit and the Lingkar Pit. In W est TAL Pit there is MT4 sump which is a gathering place for water that enters the current Pit. In the W est TAL sump location there still are reserves that have not been taken due to the presence of lubrications. In January 2018, TAL Backfilling that placed on east side of MT4 sump has an indication of fracture. To overcome this situation it is necessary to cover up MT4 sump to prevent the avalanche of Backfilling TAL which will affect W est TAL mining process. The purpose of this research is to obtain the right embankment design based on technical aspects and to carry out economic analysis of the activities of W est TAL sump. Based on the results of the research carried out, the following points can be concluded. First, the most appropriate embankment design based on technical aspects is 6 meters high of slope, berm 30 meters, single slope 18 degrees, overall slope is 8-9 degrees and obtained a capacity of embankment 4,500,000 ccm. Then, coal reserves getting decreased to 357,730 tons due to hoarding in MT4 sump W et TAL. Third, there is no loss due to coal reserve loss thanks to the cost of extracting coal is much bigger in Rp. 14,784,395,827 than the total sales price of coal and there is a potential profit obtained by the accumulation of MT4 sump W est TAL at Rp. 192,354,742,470.   Keywords:  mine plan, optimization, mine design, economist, coal

Abstract

PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk. Bangka Marine Unit is a unit of production of PT.Timah (Persero) Tbk. which conduct mining using Dredger and Cutter Suction,one of them using the KIP TIMAH 14 operating in Tempilang Sea.This research is based on the ISO 50001 and Energy PerformanceManagement, namely by looking at the rate of fuel (HSD) consumption towardKIP Timah 14’s production, to attempt efficiency, and to make daily consumptionfunctions of HSD. Attempt efficiency is to examine two issues, the use of rightunderwater machine (Mineral Dressing Installation Activator) and excavationmethod (excavation volume reduction). From observations in the field, during theoperation of KIP Timah 14 found frequent damages in mineral dressinginstallation and excavations are not effective. From the problems above so thatattempted Efficiency by reducing the volume of excavation is not required anddoes not operate the right underwater mechine when digging overburden.After the efforts of efficiency obtained, HSD consumption savings aboutRp.536,721,972.70 in November 2014, Rp.792,734,317.80 in December 2014, andRp.644,841,956.40 in January 2015. The efforts of effeciency feasible to do inorder to suppress the mining operating costs.

Abstract

Abstract. Geomechanics testing is very important in mining industry, both open pit and underground mining. Geomechanics testing is aimed to determine the stress and the strength of the rocks. One example of insitu testing and destructive testing is the Flatjack testing method. The Flatjack tool is a tool developed by the FT UNP mining laboratory in September 2017. This tool is a development of the previous tool. The development Flatjack test results have never been tested and their effectiveness is unknown yet. The Flatjack tool needs to be tested by conducting a trial test at locations that are relevant to the function of the tool in order to obtain effectiveness.Based on the results of testing and direct observation in the field, the results of Flatjack tool test on branch 1 (10.5 kg / cm2), branch 2 (12.5 kg / cm2), and branch 3 (14 kg / cm2) were obtained. Based on the results of direct data collection in the field, the results of the calculation of gravitational forces on branch 1 (7.1285 kg / cm2), branch 2 (10.9859 kg / cm2), and branch 3 (14.583 kg / cm2) were obtained. Abstract

This study discusses the selection of appropriate heavy equipment procurement options for the Low Grade Saprolite Ore (LGSO) nickel ore mining plan for 2017 until 2021, which will be exported without processing. The purpose of this study was to analyze the appropriate and profitable method of procurement of heavy equipment for PT. ANTAM (Persero) Tbk. UBPN SULTRA in the mining of LGSO nickel ore for 2017 and year 2021, the method of procurement of heavy equipment used is between companies investing mechanical equipment or performing equipment rental with contractor services. The type of research applied is the method of evaluation research (evaluation research). With the evaluation research method will be selected the best procurement of heavy equipment and can be known how far a program is achieved. Then analyzed by comparing the mining cost shown in the form of cash flow for each method of procurement of heavy equipment. In making the final decision using a comparison of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PBP) as decision-making for the investment of tools or mechanical equipment leases. With a target of 2017 nickel ore of LGSO dashing 2,500,000 wmt per year, 2018 of 3,700,000 wmt per year, 2019 of 3,500,000 wmt per year, and 2020 of 3,500,000 wmt per year, and 2021 by 3,500,000 wmt annually. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the value of NPV with 20% discount rate for instrument investment method is $ 373,370.89, while for tool rental method is $ 8,661,327.10. If assessed from the IRR for the tool buying method is 21.11% and for the tool lease method is 76.9%. And if assessed from PBP for tool investment method is 3.83 years, and for tool lease method is 0.89 months. So of the three criteria that meet the method of procurement of heavy equipment is profitable and profitable is the rental tool with the services of contractors.Keyword: Cash Flow, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP), LGSO

Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam - UPO is an underground coal mining company conducted in the area Ombilin I (Sawahluwung), Ombilin II (Waringin-Sugar) and Ombilin III (Sigalut). Excess coal production compared to the low demand becomes a significant factor for the price of coal fell for the last few years. So far, the Government has issued a monthly coal reference price (HBA and HPB) since January 2009 for use by manufacturers of coal to all the places and contact services. But the official implementation HBA started since September 2011. In addition, the reference price of coal to be used by holders of Production Operation IUP, IUP specialized production operations as well as CCoWs as a reference in determining the selling price of coal for a given period. Therefore, it needs to be calculated budget plans annual production of coal mining PT. Bukit Asam UPO so that it can be seen in corporate profits and the value of the minimum reference price of coal mining in order to still meet the minimum profit required.The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. Where do the initial learning of what will be done and the collection of data necessary for the manufacture of paper so that when the data processing that starts from the calculation of the budget plan, coal reference price comparison with the price of the exchange and analysis of the effects of changes in the reference price of coal. Can be concluded from these data.From research conducted then obtained Budget Plan (RAB) for one year PT. Bukit Asam UPO is Rp. 44.638.890.400.00. Minimum benchmark coal prices obtained in December 2014 at 64,65, it shows the value of the company's profit decreases with the increase in the exchange rate increasingly rises. Minimal HBA preferably above 45.65 with the exchange rate of Rp. 12.000 / $, because if theHBA under 45,65 would suffer losses.

Abstract

PT. Kaltim Prima Coal is a one of the companies enganged in coal mining. Mining activities in PT. Kaltim Prima Coal are divided into 4 quartes, that is 1st quarter (January-March), 2nd quarter (April-June), 3rd quarter (July-September) and 4th quarter (October-Desember). Based on field observation, the ineffectiveness of the use of the pump can be seen from the use of the pump which still follows the original plan and is not in accordance with the actual conditions in the field. Pipes and pumps requirement evaluation is needed to overcome this problems. Pipes and pumps requirement evaluation is carried out in the 2nd until 4th quarter of 2018. On the plan of pipes and pumps requirement evaluation in 2nd quartal in 2018, there are five catchment area with pumping systems made using HDPE pipe and 3 MF 340 type pumps unit, 1 MF 380  type pumps unit and 1 MF 420/E type pumps unit. On the plan of pipes and pumps requirement evaluation in 3rd quartal in 2018, there are five catchment area with pumping systems made using HDPE pipe and 3 MF 340 type pumps unit, 1 MF 390 type pumps unit and 1 MF 420/E type pumps unit. On the plan of pipes and pumps requirement evaluation in 4th quartal in 2018, there are five catchment area with pumping systems made using HDPE pipe and 3 MF 380 type pumps unit, 1 MF 390 type pumps unit and 1 MF 420/E type pumps unit.Keywords: evaluation, quarter, catchment area, pump, pipe.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Koto Alam Sejahtera is a private company engaged in the mining business, especially the Andesite stone. In the process of transporting andesite stones to the crusher, there is a dump truck queue and a long stand-by time on the dump truck, this can cause the productivity of the tool to be small so that the andesite stones production target of             30.000 ton/month is not achieved. This is due to the inefficient working time of mechanical devices. This production target was not achieved due to improper combination of tools, road width and road grade that did not meet the standards, causing queues or waiting times for transport on the front loading and at some road points. One way to achieve the production target is needed fleet management accordingly. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the productivity of excavator Hitachi ZX-350 is 232,61 ton/hour and the productivity of dump truck Mitsubishi Fuso 220 PS is 47,30 ton/hour. The composition of the available equipment is 1 unit of excavator serving 5 units of dump trucks. Efforts to reduce the queuing time are to make improvements to the composition of the equitment MF=1. Fleet settings are based on method Antrian, that is 1 unit of loading equipment serves 4 units of transport equipment with a production of 38.485 ton/month.Keywords: Fleet Management, Method Queue, Match Factor, Production, Productivity, Dump Truck
