Abstract

Based on the data obtained from the company, the data accidents that occurred between the years 2012-2014 there were 222 cases of accidents, as well as activities that are harmful to workers at risk of injury, lost work days, and the cost of repair tools. The causes of such unsafe acts and unsafe conditions of the workers. The purpose of this study were: 1) Revealing the dangers that occur in coal mining activities. 2) Uncover the risk of hazards that occur in the coal mining activities. 3) Disclose the value of the likelihood and severity of hazards that occur in the coal mining activities start from land clearing activities until the loading of coal in the stockpile.This type of research is descriptive with quantitative approach, in which data is collected or obtained from direct observation in the field and interviews with leaders and staff as well as employees of the company who are competent in connection with the object of research. The data is taken from the data mining activities, the risk of hazards that occur in the coal mining activities.Results of the study revealed that the risk of hazards that occur in the coal mining activities at PT. Kuansing core affluent who are at a high level going on the road hauling.

Abstract

From the research can be seen that the incidence of property damageaccidents increased. This is caused of unsafe conditions and unsafe work acts,inconsistent in supervising the K3 management system, lack of knowledge, employeeawareness and concern about K3. The absence of sanctions against employees whoviolate K3. The purpose of this study is to reveal whether PT. CBP has implementedK3 principles in accordance with the principles of K3 mine, reveals whethersupervisors and miners have implemented K3 principles, disclosing the extent ofoccupational risk, disclosing the causes of accidents, and disclosing the percentage ofunsafe and unsafe events.In carrying out this research, combined theory and direct interview withfield data, so that both of them got problem solving approach.Based on the results of the research conducted can be concluded thefollowing points. First, the factors that cause property damage accidents includehuman factors, equipment factors and environmental factors. Second, there are stillmany unsafe and unsafe practices. Third, the percentage of accidents for unsafe actsis 60.71% and for unsafe conditions is 39.29%. And the cause of the accidentproperty damage in PT. Cakra Bumi Pertiwi is a matter of implementation of K3policy in management, which subindicator is supporting activity, capabilityguarantee, and ability guarantee.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk is a state-owned company engaged in the sector of a single market (captive market) which has 2 mining units, including the Ombilin Mining Unit (UPO) located in Ombilin, Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. Based on data from exploration of coal deposits carried out by PTBA UPO, one of the areas considered feasible to open is the Langkok Pit 1 UPO Site. Therefore, it is necessary to open a new mine so that the production target is reached. However, there is currently no planning for the needs of heavy equipment at the Langkok Pit 1 site. The purpose of this study is to determine the type and number of main tools and the costs needed. The research method used is the Applied Research method. In data analysis the calculation of the cycle time of mechanical devices is used to get the work productivity of the tool and the target of achieving hourly production of these mechanical devices and also as data in achieving the target mining plan per year. Mining activities used a combination of mining equipment, namely 1 Hitachi ZX330 excavator unit and 8 CWA 260MX UD dump truck units. The total rent that will be incurred per month in the needs of the equipment in August 2017 is Rp. 612.762.500,00 / month, in September is Rp. 637.273.000,00 / month, while in October it was Rp.588.252.000,00 / month, in November it was Rp. 637.273.000,00 / month, and December is Rp. 588.252.000,00 / month. Abstract

Abstract. Geomechanical testing is very important in the mining industry, both open pit, and underground mining. Geomechanics testing aims to determine rock strength. Rock strength is a major determinant of slope stability in open mines or opening holes in underground mines. There are several geomechanical testing methods, based on their nature, geomechanical testing consists of non-destructive tests and destructive tests. Based on location, geomechanical testing consists of in situ tests and ex-situ tests. One example of in situ and non-destructive testing is flat jack testing. The flat jack method is a method based on the measurement of the pressure needed to restore the stress released. Flat Jack generates known stresses in rock mass. Flat jack testing is carried out on the underground mine wall to get the stress value. Based on the calculation of the safety factor of the underground mine of PT Allied Indo Coal Jaya, at location 1 the values of fk = 1.41 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.89 (compressive stress) are obtained. At location 2 the value of fk = 1.23 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.63 (compressive stress). At location 3 the value of fk = 1.23 (tensile stress) and fk = 1.63 (compressive stress).Keywords: Flat Jack, Geotechnical, Rock Stress, Safety Factor, Underground Mining.

Abstract

Abstract. This study discusses optimal solution to handle water entering coal mining Block B PT.Minemex Indonesia. Water comes from ground water and surface runoff that floods the groundfloor of the mining work area, causing coal cannot be carried out. To determination runoff andgroundwater discharge into the mining, we have to know its debit. We also determinatedimensions of open channel, sump, and settling pond, and also capacity of the pump used. Theresults, pit B mining PT. Minemex Indonesia has a total catchment area of 47.3 ha withmaximum daily rainfall of 94,44 mm/day. Total debit is 1,22651 m3/second, maximum capacity ofsump is 85.775 m3, with 123 m x 123 m surface dimensions, and 116 m x 116 m at the base and6 m depth. The trapezoidal-shaped open channel sare located on the mining front to drain thewater to sump, and near the settling pond to drain the pumped water from the sump to thesettling pond. By using HDPE pipes and 3 units Coates HL-200 centrifugal pumps that have 63meters maximum head and 107 liters/second maximum pumping debit, water will be pumpedinto settling pond which has 5 compartments and 10.400,4 m3 overall volume.Keywords: Catchment Area, Rainfall, Sump, Pump, Settling Pond

Abstract

PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi is one of the coal mines located in West Sumatera province Sijunjung. In mining PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi in cooperation with PT. Pasura Bina Mine as a sub contractor who is a subsidiary of Srikandi Group.Based on observations in stripping overburden at PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi, it was found that the production activities of overburden is not optimal. This is caused by equipment that works on the field non optimal when used, which is visible from the unloading tool is waiting on the field.Actually total unloading production is 104,910 BCM/month, and conveyances 84,590 BCM/month, it caused not achieving the target production of overburden that has been planned not reached. After analysis it is found that the cause of low production work efficiency is low and lack of transport in use. By increasing the efficiency of work and made additional conveyance, then obtained a total production of 131,090 BCM tool loading / month and conveyance 123,436 BCM/month.From the results of the calculation, the cost of production and the means of conveyance and unloading tool to strip overburden before it is analyzed is Rp.2,511,980,033/month or Rp.29,696/BCM, and having analyzed the cost of production tools and conveyances fit into Rp.3,022,347,665/month or Rp.24,485/BCM, so to strip the overburden in accordance with the planned production target required fee of Rp.2,938,200,000

Abstract

Abstract. Production target area (412 ha) which is charged at Limestone Crusher VI of 2,200 tonnes / h while real-time has not been reached, namely 1066.44 tons / hour using a combination of one unit of excavator loading EH 2500-6 to 6 HD conveyance unit 785-7. The research aims to gain the ideal amount of a combination of units excavator loading and transportation to meet the target in the area (412 ha). Type of research is descriptive quantitative empirical approach is through surveys and field observations. Efforts is increase work efficiency by maximizing the available working time in order to maximize productivity. After analyzing the obtained productivity mining equipment increased to 2230.12 tons / hour, then the unit conveyance reduced to 5 units, and the previous match factor MF = 1.44 increase to MF = 0.96 (approaching = 1). Furthermore, the effectiveness rate of 48.47% crusher unit increased to 101.37%.Keywords:  Target Production, Efficiency, Working Time, Productivity, Match Factor

Abstract

PT Semen Padang is a manufacturer of cement in Indonesia and also split stone production. Split stone is processed by using the crushing plant. Based on data of split stone production at PT Semen Padang in March 2018, the company’s split stone target production of 18.900 tons/month was not reached. At the same time, the actual production obtained was 3.799,23 tons/month. This is caused by many disturbances of repair time during split stone processing and wore out the jaw crusher, so that the effective working time being reduced. Related to this problem it is necessary repair to increase split stone production target. Repair made is reduction of repair time such as replacement motor pulley and reversal of liner jaw crusher because wearing out. The result obtained pf this research after the repair occured reduction of repair time, so that effective working time became increased, the value of avaibility became increased, and effectiveness of jaw crusher also increased. The production of split stone obtained in April was 43,03% in which split stone production in March was 3.799,23 tons/month increased to 5.472,23 tons/month in April. Keywords:  Production, Crushing Plant, Split Stone, Disturbance, Repair Time

Abstract

In the overburden mining activities in the North Pit E,            PT. Karbindo Abesyapradhi using two brands about conveyance of rigid dump trucks Terex TR60 and Euclid R60 rigid dump truck. From the gained information, conveyance TR60 rigid dump truck is a new conveyance. While the conveyance Euclid R60 rigid dump truck is a long conveyance.Known to owning operating cost of conveyance Euclid R60 rigid dump truck US $ 93.63, while owning the operating cost conveyance of rigid dump trucks TR60 US $ 131.75. Then from the calculation of the productivity of the authors received, productivity Euclid R60 rigid dump truck better than productivity conveyance of rigid dump trucks Terex TR60. About productivity Euclid R60 rigid dump truck 56,796 BCM/h, while the productivity of rigid dump trucks Terex TR60 48,896 BCM/h.Then owning operating cost is divided by the productivity of the production cost to gain conveyance to determine which is more beneficial. And note the cost production of rigid dump trucks terex TR60 2,694 USD/BCM, while the cost production of rigid dump trucks Terex TR60 US $ 1,648. Based on the results gained, conveyance Euclid R60 rigid dump truck is more profitable than the conveyance of rigid dump trucks Terex TR60. Abstract

PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal, is a coal mining company located in salak village, Talawi, Sawahlunto city, West Sumatra province. In executing the mining accidents that often occur is influenced by the perception of employee knowledge about K3 norms and the high level of accident risk that occurs. The purpose of this study to reveals the perception of employes PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal About the safety norm, Reveals the risk persentage of work accident occurring at PT. Guguk Tinggi Coal.Data collected or obtained directly from the respondents with direct observation in the field and direct interviews with employees that competent in companies and have relation with the object of research. The data taken are the conditions in the environment (mining area to the stock of the workplace files) as well as potential hazards that may occur, the employee's knowledge of safety norms and work programs of K3 management, workers' responses to the programs undertaken by K3 management.The results obtained are the employee's knowledge about K3 and how to evaluate the work activities are still low with the results obtained by the questionnaire test with a value of 3.35 for the implementation and 3.21 for the evaluation of this category is still quite good, there are still factors of work accident from unsafe conditions and unsafe actions, PT.Guguk Tinggi Coal should form a special management for K3 and provide training and guidance on the importance of occupational safety and health, management is also required to always evaluate the activities of the workers in intensive mining activities.
