Abstract

PT. Pipit Mutiara Jaya is one of the companies engaged in mining, especiallycoal. The company is located in Bebatu Village, Sesayap downstream, Tana Tidung,North Kalimantan Province. PT. Pipit Mutiara Jaya is applying an open pit systemand is currently engaged in mining and exploration activities. The area explorationis called Pit CFG. After the company undertook detailed exploration activities thecompany has not conducted data processing to determine the quantity of measuredcoal resources, the value of stripping ratio, and the design pit at Pit C PT. PipitMutiara Jaya.Coal exploration was conducted on coal seam with research area + 24 ha.The information used in estimating the measured coal resource in the study areacame from 146 drill hole data and the mean distance between 50 meter drill holeswith the average depth of 60 meter borehole. Result of calculation of coal resourceby using method of polygon in mining software. Total of overburden is 12.488.344bcm which consist of amount of overburden, mud and the consecutive amount ofmix material is 3.309.185 bcm, 6.119.439 bcm and 3.059.719 bcm then total coaltonnage is 1.296 .445 tons consisting of 101B1 866.901 ton and 101H 429.544 tonsof seam and the stripping ratio is 1: 9,63.Keywords: exploration, coal, mine, drill, resource, polygon, overburden, seam,stripping ratio, pit

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Ansar Terang Crushindo is one of a company working in the mining of andesite, located Jorong Pauah Anok Nagari Pangkalan Kecamatan Pangkalan Kabupaten 50 kota Sumatera Barat. Draining system applied in PT Ansar Terang Crushindo is a mine dewatering system. When rainy season, rainfall the higher so as to discharge some runoff who entered the mine is getting higher it leads to the increasing the volume of water that accumulated on sump, so sump overflows and can not accommodate the incoming water. Water that has been gathered at sump will is pumped to open channels for later diverted back out mine to river. From the results of research and observation catchment areas in PT. ATC is 3,1 hectares. The capacity of optimal sump to cover the water runoff and groundwater is 3.050 m. The minimum pump discharge needed to remove water is 0.00553 m3 / second and the pumping time is at least 9 hours per day. The pump used is a Centrifugal Niagara Self Priming pump with a total head of 18 meters, a maximum installed capacity of 0.0395 m3 / second and a maximum rotation of 1700 rpm of 1 unit. The results of pumping are channeled to the open channel, the shape of the open channel section made is trapezoid, the dimensions of the surface width are 1 m, the base width is 0.5 m, the depth is 0.5 m. Then from the open channel is passed to the mud settling pond (settling pond) which has 2 compartments. Abstract

Abstract. In the use of mineral or food resources for community welfare and the development of an area, a mining business is needed. For the mining business to run and make a profit, the potential of mineral resources or existing minerals must be known with certainty, as well as the existing risks, which can be specified as geological risks, economic-technological risks, and environmental risks, must be eliminated or at least minimized.At this time, PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPN Southeast Sulawesi is carrying out stages, one of which is mining, namely detailed exploration or also called inpit drill drilling. This is very dependent on the nickel diarea that does not have the potential for high grade Ni from initial exploration results and determines whether inpit drill drilling activities are economical to do so that it is in accordance with the circumstances of the company that still maintains inpit drill activities despite initial exploration activities.Get the annual Cost Ratio value from inpit drill activities. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Satria Bahana Sarana is a contractor company engaged in coal mining services located in Bangko Barat, Muara Enim district, South Sumatra province. PT Satria Bahana Sarana carries out the mining process using the open pit method. This method will cause the formation of a large basin so that it is very potential to become a water storage area. Based on field observations, there are many puddles of water around the mining front and haul roads, which can disrupt the mining process. Based on the analysis of rainfall data for 2010-2019, the planned rainfall was 482.82 mm/ day, with a return period of 2 years of rain. The method of solving the problem is done by analyzing several alternative solutions to problems related to handling the flow of water entering the pit, namely alternative I, a diversion channel that can minimize runoff discharge by 7,669 m3 / second. Alternative II for pump optimization of 6 units to compensate for the existing sump dimensions. Alternative III optimal sump dimensions to accommodate the total water discharge with a maximum volume 16,290 m3 . Based on the analysis of the three alternatives, an effective and efficient alternative I, with the estimated cost of Rp. 54,352,224.00.Keywords: Sistem Penyaliran Tambang, Catchment Area, Pompa, Sump, dan Saluran Terbuka

Abstract

To perform the feasibility analysis of investment can be done by using severalmethods, PT. Triple Eight Energy with galena commodity using discounted cash flowas its method of analysis. Based on the calculation, obtained cash out flow of Rp649.289.950.100, cash in flow of Rp 2.361.317.978.504, NPV of Rp 789.154.337.450,payback period for 2 years 7,4 months, discounted payback period for 2 years 3, 5months, IRR of 30.98%, PI of 23.6300447. Abstract

Abstract. Mining operations that used in pit Markona PT. Bumi Karya makmur jobsite PT. Cakrawala Dinamika Energi is open pit method. This method will cause a large basin to form so that it is very potential to become a water reservoir area. Based on the analysis of rainfall data for 2009-2018, the planned rainfall was 110,726 mm/day, with different rainfall intensity in each catchment area with a return period of 2 years. The problem solving method is carried out by analyzing several alternative solutions related to handling the discharge of water that entering the pit, there are alternative I, recommending a diversion channel that can minimize runoff discharge by 0.258 m3/second. Alternative II, recommendations for optimal sump dimensions to accommodate water discharge with a maximum volume of 38.785 m3. Alternative III, recommendation of pump optimization is 5 units to compensate for the dimensions of the existing sump. Based on this alternative analysis, recommend an effective and efficient alternative in pit Markona 2019 is the recommendation of the diversion channel. The settling pond consists of 3 compartments with capacities of each compartment of 7,096.44 m3, 7,525.68 m3 and 6,821.42 m3.Keywords:  Mine Drainage, Catchment Area, Pump, Sump, Open Channel, Settling Pond

Abstract

One of the mining activities at PT. Kaltim Prima Coal is overburden materials dumping activities in an area until attain a final condition (final dump). Final dump areas must have a drainage system design to regulate runoff water in the area so it does not enter the front and disrupting mining activities. In October 2018, at the Pinang South Department of Jupiter Pit PT. Kaltim Prima Coal will be opened the Palapa dumping area with an area of 101,29 ha from the elevation of 40-160 mdpl and is expected to be final in the end of 2020. The maximum daily rainfall value from 5-years rainfall data (2013-2017) for the return period 25 years is 112,917 mm/day. In the final disposal area, Palapa was made into 3 open trapezoidal channels with dimensions of 2 m channel base widths and 1 m channel depths. Determination of water flow classification is calculated using the froude number indicator. The calculation results show a very critical flow (f>1) on all channel segments so reinforcement is needed by using the tire drop structure from the Komatsu HD 785 dumptruck and CAT HD 785 used tires. Runoff from the disposal area then streamed by using open channels by utilizing gravity to Angsoka settling pond. Open channel is trapezoidal shape with 2 m channel widths and 2 m channel depths.Keywords:  Final dump, rainfall, open channel, froude number, tyre drop structure

Abstract

In this research the planning of the requirement of gear-loader and conveyance tool that will be discussed is short-term planning for 5 years to the needs of digging tools using Volvo Excavator EC 210, Caterpillar 320 D and transport equipment using Nissan CW 340. At PT. Anugrah Halaban Agreed to the procurement of equipment for the procurement and the means of procurement is carried out ie direct purchase and lease-purchase of both methods used certainly have weaknesses and advantages respectively, for it required analysis of the most profitable way with the company PT. Anugrah Halaban Agreed in the procurement of dug-load and hauling tools. In this research, the amount of ownership cost and operational cost is different for each unit of equipment and also there are difference of ownership cost and operational cost for rented equipment with direct purchased equipment. Cash Flow obtained, then analyzed by using the method of Net Present Value (NPV) so it can be known whether the available alternative is feasible economically. For cash purchase alternatives from existing cash flow, the NPV value for cash purchase alternatives for each tool is CAT 320D for $ 6,658,401.81, Volvo EC 210 $ 3,869,332.88 and Nissan CW 340 $ 1,624,886.73 so that NPV 0, then the alternative is declared economically viable. And for the alternative lease from the existing cash flow obtained NPV value for alternative leases for each tool is to for CAT 320D for $ 6,098,28.65, Volvo EC 210 $ 2,144,823.13 and Nissan CW 340 $ 1,121,962.12 so that NPV 0, then the alternative is declared economically viable. From the research that has been done in getting the results of comparison of NPV and IRR analysis can be stated that the most advantageous tool procurement alternative to the condition of the company at this time is buy-directly because NPV buy is greater than NPV rent-purchase.Keywords: Investment, NPV, IRR, Heavy Equipment, Leasing

Abstract

ABSTRACT The licensing of mining venture activity which occur in the forest for both protected forest and production forest is a very often problem which happened at the district/city level. It can not be avoided since the existence of the large mine material is located in those forests. Therefore, there should be an analysis through (SIG) Geographic Information System application and forestry legilslation to the licensing of mining venture which take place in the forest.The purpose of this research is to obtain the data about Mining Venture Business License in Sawahlunto City which is located at the production forest and to reveal the legislation related with the use of production forest for mining venture activity. The benefit of this research is to provide description  and information to the mining entrepreneur in doing mining venture activity at the region of production forest. The method being used is SIG application and Forestry Regulation. The result of the analysis which can be obtained in this research is WIUP and the Map of Forest Region in Sawahlunto City and forestry regulation which is related with the use of the forest region. In Sawahlunto City, there 12 (twelve) IUP (Mining Venture License) which are located at the region of Production Forest for both HP (Regular Production Forest) and HPK (Conversion Production Forest) out of 15 IUP that has been published by the Government of Sawahlunto CityThe research finding can be used as a reference and information to know the mining venture license which is located in the region of production forest based on the forestry legislation Keyword: Mining Venture Business License, The Region of Production Forest. ABSTRAK Perizinan kegiatan usaha pertambangan yang berada dengan kawasan hutan, baik pada hutan lindung dan hutan produksi merupakan permasalahan yang sangat sering terjadi pada Kabupaten/Kota. Hal ini tidak bisa dihindarkan dikarenakan keberadaan bahan tambang itu sendiri yang sebagian besar berada  di kawasan hutan tersebut. Oleh karenanya diperlukan kegiatan analisis melalui aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis/SIG dan peraturan perundang-undangan kehutanan terhadap perizinan usaha pertambangan yang berada pada Kawasan Hutan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data mengenai Wilayah Izin Usaha Pertambangan di Kota Sawahlunto yang berada di kawasan hutan produksi dan mengungkapkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan kawasan hutan produksi untuk kegiatan usaha pertambangan.Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu memberikan gambaran dan informasi kepada para pengusaha pertambangan dalam melakukan kegiatan usaha pertambangan dalam kawasan hutan produksi.Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan aplikasi SIG dan Peraturan Kehutanan. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah WIUP dengan Peta Kawasan Hutan di wilayah Kota Sawahlunto dan peraturan kehutanan yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan kawasan hutan tersebut. Di Kota Sawahlunto, dari 15 (lima belas) izin usaha pertambangan yang telah diterbitkan Pemerintah Kota Sawahlunto, terdapat sejumlah 12 (dua belas) Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) yang berada di kawasan Hutan Produksi, baik di Hutan Produksi Tetap (HP) maupun Hutan Produksi Konversi (HPK).Hasil Penelitian dapat dipakai sebagai referensi dan informasi untuk mengetahui perizinan  kegiatan usaha pertambangan yang berada di kawasan hutan produksi sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan kehutanan. Kata Kunci: Izin Usaha Pertambangan, Kawasan Hutan Produksi.

Abstract

Abstract. The mining system of PT. Prima Delin Agro Permai applies an open pit system. The open mining system it is really affected by the weather, of the reasons is when it’s raining. Mining that applies an open pit system required to have a good pit drainage plan to prevent the puddle on the mining front so it can be interfere with the mining process. The purpose of this research to analyze the pump needs, and design the dimension of sump and the open channels. The recommendations they are 1 recommendation. Recommended to add 1 unit pump become 6 units pumps by fixing one unit that has broken. Recommendation number 2, the diversion channel that can minimized the runoff with the slop on the bottom channel (S) = 0, 30%, width of the channel (b) = 0, 5 m, the height of the channel (H) = 0,625 m and the cross sectional area (A) =0,375 m². The third (III) recommendation, the dimension of sump which the optimal one to accommodate the total water discharge, with a maximum volume on 21, 512 m³, the plan based on the needs to get the dimension of the sump with the length of the surface of the wells and the width of the surface of 69 m. The length of the bottom and the width of the bottom of the well is 62 m with a depth of 5 m.Keywords: Mine drain system, Mining front, Pumps, Open channels, Sump
