Abstract

This study aims to determine whether audio-visual media affects the dance learning outcomes of students in class X MIPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Mutiara. This research is an experimental study whose population was the students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Mutiara. The variables in this study were the independent and dependent variables. The research instrument used objective questions. The data were analyzed by using normality test and hypothesis test. The results showed that there are differences in students’ dance learning outcomes between the use of Audio Visual media and poster media in the even semester learning at SMAN 1 Tanjung Mutiara. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental class learning outcomes. The score got is 70.19. Meanwhile, the average value of learning outcomes in the control class is 60.19. It is also proved by the result of hypothesis testing where the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <from 0.05. These mean that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, there is a significant influence on the use of audiovisual media on student dance learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Mutiara.

Abstract

This research aims to explain and describe the use of demonstration method using WhatsApp application  in class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This is a qualitative research. The evaluation of the students’ outcomes in this research consists of the evaluation of Knowledge (cognitive) and Dance Practice (psychomotor). The data used were primary and secondary data. The data   were collected through literature, observation, and documentation/ shooting studies. The data was analyzed by using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that the implementation of demonstration method in Cultural Arts learning in class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 7 was conducted in online learning. Both theory learning and dance practice could be carried out well. This is evidenced by the grades students got in the theory learning at the second meeting. The average score got is 78.7. Meanwhile, at the dance practice learning, students got 76.7 in the meeting 4. In addition, at the meeting 5,  the score increases to 82.9. It can be concluded that the average psychomotor score of students at the end of the study is 79.8 and it is categorized good.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the increasing creativity of students by using the method of discovery in learning the art of dance in class XI SMA Negeri Padang 6. The type of research conducted in this research is the Research Action class (PTK). This research was conducted with two cycles of among others a cycle I and cycle II. The object of this study was 6 SMA Negeri Padang students i.e. class XI IPA 5 of 32 people. Types of data using primary data and secondary data.Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation, deeds and test documentation. Thoroughly data were analyzed using student percentage and use the criteria of ketuntasan individuals and groups with a Minimum of 75% thoroughly criteria. The results showed that use of the method of discovery in learning the art of dance, in particular culture can enhance creativity and learning are able to make the students directly involved in learning, let alone learning the practice of dance. Learning outcomes grade XI IPA 5 on cycle I the results of learning (psychomotor) students only achieve 59.91%. And the results of learning (cognitive) students only reached 15.62%. cycle II student learning outcomes (psychomotor) students reach 92.18% and (cognitive) 82.50%. so there has been an increase in the results of learning the art of dance by using the method of discovery and targets to be achieved has been successful.

Abstract

Technology-based media can increase students’ motivation more than equipping their teaching materials with traditional ones. This article aims to describe the difference between the dance performance of students taught by exploring local wisdom from YouTube and those who are taught by the conventional method. This quasi-experimental study describes whether local wisdom and technology via YouTube can effectively increase Indonesian students’ dance performance at the higher education level. A number of 205 students participated in this research. A dance performance test, two scoring rubrics, and a questionnaire were used. The result of statistical analysis shows that exploring the values of local wisdom from YouTube videos can give a significant effect on students’ dance performance with sig. = .000. In terms of gender, there is a significant difference between female and male students after being taught by exploring local wisdom from YouTube videos (sig. = .000). Moreover, females also achieve better than males in terms of creativity including fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originality of their dance products. The results of the questionnaire reveal that students appreciate and feel helped by integrating local wisdom and YouTube videos in the choreography course and agree that the values of local wisdom direct their dance performance in terms of movement, attitude, costume, and creativity.

Abstract

This study tries to find out what the contribution of students' independence in learning to dance is. This type of research is quantitative research, data is collected and processed using statistical formulas. The population of this quantitative research is class X SMA Negeri 2 Padang students who are registered for the 2020-2021 school year. Data were collected using a learning independence questionnaire and an (objective) test of dance learning outcomes. Before the data was analyzed, the data analysis requirements for normality and homogeneity were first tested. Further testing of the determinants was carried out to determine the contribution of independence in dance learning. The results showed that learning independence contributed 39.69% to the dance learning outcomes of class X 2 high school students and the rest (60.31%) was influenced by other factors. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the independence of learning dance has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of dance.

Abstract

Penelitianainiabertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan media konvensional pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Jenis PeneIitian ini adalah peneIitianakuantitatif. PopulasiApenelitianAini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Sampel dari penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen (VIII 3A) dan kelas kontrol (VIII 2B) ditentukan dengan cara representative (mewakili). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes (soal objektif). Sebelum data di analisis terlebih dahulu dilakukanauji persyaratanaanalisis data berupa uji normaIitas dan uji homogenitas. HasiI peneIitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang  signifikan  dalam penggunaan multimedia interaktif terhadap  hasil  belajar  seni budaya siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (1,86>1,67). Dengan kata Iain penggunaan multimedia interaktif  berpengaruh terhadap hasiI beIajar seni budaya siswa keIas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau. Demikian juga haInya dapat dibuktikan dengan perbedaan hasil nilai rata-rata siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Talamau menggunakan multimedia interaktif dengan media konvensional dengan niIai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 81,43 dan kelas kontroI 74,64.  Untuk itu agar hasiI belajar seni budaya  Iebih baik, makaApenggunaan multimedia interaktif harus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Cecah Inai is one of the processions performed in the Batam Malay Traditional Pre-wedding. Before the procession is carried out, usually in reaching a consensus, democracy is carried out, between Mak-Andam and the bride and groom's family. With the development of the democratic era that occurred in this marriage experienced a shift, where in the democratic era it was carried out through an agreement between the family and community leaders in the form of barter, and if the family did not carry out this Cecah Henna event, social sanctions would be received in society. At this time, democracy is undergoing changes that are only agreed upon by the families of the prospective bride and groom and are adjusted to economic factors or strata in society. If the family has the financial capacity, the family will carry out the pre-wedding procession as a whole and if not, then the procession will only carry out the most important parts, namely Curi Inai and Berandam.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by using the demonstration method in learning dance at SMA Negeri 13 Sijunjung. The type of research used is classroom action research. The research instruments were observation sheets, post-test cycles and skills tests. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, literature study, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula. The average student learning activity in cycle I was 67% with good enough criteria. After making improvements in cycle II, the average student learning activity increased by 90% with very good criteria. Students who were previously less active and did not want to move and were shy in making movements, after the demonstration method was applied students became confident.

Abstract

This1study1aims to1determine the influence of learning interest on the learning outcomes of class XI1students on the subject of cultural arts of class XII students at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was 320 students1of1class1XI SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh with a sample of 76 students. The data in this study used primary data and1secondary1data. Data1collection techniques are carried out by means of questionnaires, learning outcomes data. Variables in this study consist of Free Variables (Independent Variables) and Bound Variables (dependent Variables). Data analysis techniques are carried out with validity tests and reliability tests. The1results1showed that there was an influence of interest in learning on learning outcomes in the subject of cultural arts of class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. It is known that the calculated F value is 45.663 while the Ftabel is 3.97. Because Fhitung > Ftabel means, that the variable of interest in learning affects student learning outcomes. Based on the Determinant Coefficient (R2) table, an R2 value of 0.382 was obtained, which means that learning interest can affect learning outcomes with strength as much as 38.2% while the other 61.8% of learning interest is influenced by other variables that are not measured in this study. That is, the level of interest in learning students affects learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis obtained through regression calculations, it can be concluded that the learning interest variable contributes 38.2% to changes in student learning outcome variables while the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other factors. The variable interest in learning, which contributes 38.2% to student learning outcomes, is a sufficient but still relatively low result.
