Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia di Kota Kendari melalui program Senam Jantung Sehat. Program ini melibatkan 60 peserta lansia, bekerja sama dengan tenaga kesehatan dan komunitas lokal. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup edukasi kesehatan, demonstrasi senam, dan latihan rutin tiga kali seminggu. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui survei, wawancara, dan pengukuran kesehatan berkala, seperti tekanan darah dan kadar kolesterol. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kesehatan fisik dan mental, termasuk penurunan tekanan darah, peningkatan kekuatan otot, keseimbangan, dan interaksi sosial. Tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 95%, dengan manfaat signifikan dalam aspek fisik, psikologis, dan sosial. Program ini juga efektif dalam menurunkan risiko penyakit degeneratif. Senam Jantung Sehat terbukti efektif meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia. Rekomendasi mencakup penyelenggaraan program secara berkelanjutan dengan dukungan keluarga dan komunitas, serta penyesuaian kegiatan untuk lansia dengan keterbatasan fisik. Program ini memiliki potensi replikasi di wilayah lain untuk manfaat yang lebih luas. Improving Quality of Life through Healthy Heart Exercises for the Elderly in Kendari City This study aims to improve the quality of life of the elderly in Kendari City through the Healthy Heart Gymnastics program. The program involved 60 elderly participants in collaboration with healthcare professionals and local communities. Implementation methods included health education, exercise demonstrations, and regular sessions three times a week. Evaluations were conducted using surveys, interviews, and periodic health measurements such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels.mThe results showed improvements in physical and mental health, including reduced blood pressure, enhanced muscle strength, balance, and social interaction. Participant satisfaction reached 95%, with significant benefits in physical, psychological, and social aspects. The program was also effective in reducing the risk of degenerative diseases. Healthy Heart Gymnastics effectively enhances the quality of life for the elderly. Recommendations include the continuous implementation of the program with support from families and communities and adjustments to activities for seniors with physical limitations. This program has the potential for replication in other regions for broader benefits.

Abstract

Problem: Chest pass ability in basketball requires optimal arm muscle strength. Many students show less than optimal chest pass technique due to weak arm muscle strength, so an effective training method is needed to improve it. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of push-up training on improving chest pass ability in basketball. Methods: This study used a randomized pre-test–post-test one group design with a sample of 30 male students aged 16–18 years. Push-up training was given for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 times per week. Chest pass ability was measured using a ball throw-catch test against a wall as far as 3 meters for 30 seconds, before and after treatment. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and t-test. Result: The results showed a significant increase in chest pass ability after being given push-up training. The t-count value of 11.84 is greater than the t-table of 2.042, which means that there is a significant effect of push-up training on chest pass ability. Conclusion: Push-up training has been proven effective in improving basketball chest pass ability. This exercise can be used as one of the recommended arm muscle strength training methods in learning basic basketball techniques in schools.

Abstract

Pendidikan Jasmani   memiliki peran fundamental dalam mendukung perkembangan individu secara holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan kerangka kerja filosofis yang lebih kokoh dalam memahami serta mengembangkan Pendidikan Jasmani. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan filosofis, penelitian ini berupaya menggali makna yang lebih mendalam dari aktivitas fisik, mengintegrasikan aspek kesejahteraan fisik dan mental, serta melakukan analisis kritis terhadap metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam bidang Pendidikan Jasmani. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Jasmani yang lebih komprehensif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Systematic Literature Review, Dari total 220 referensi yang diimpor untuk proses penyaringan, dilakukan seleksi kelayakan, serta penerapan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, sehingga diperoleh enam artikel yang dianalisis dalam pembahasan hasil penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Pendidikan Jasmani berperan sebagai instrumen pengembangan holistik, di mana filsafat Pendidikan Jasmani menjadi dasar yang kuat dalam perancangan kurikulum yang lebih relevan, inklusif, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik. Selain itu, filsafat Pendidikan Jasmani juga telah mendorong lahirnya berbagai cabang ilmu baru, seperti ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi dalam olahraga. Masing-masing cabang tersebut memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memahami berbagai aspek olahraga, termasuk analisis kinerja atlet hingga kajian mengenai nilai-nilai etika dalam praktik olahraga.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the correlation between arm muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength with badminton smash ability. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 49 South Konawe utilizing the descriptive method with a correlational design. The sampling technique uses a total sampling of 30 junior high students who actively participated in extracurricular activities. The instrument for measuring arm muscle power employs the overhead medicine ball throw test to measure abdominal muscle strength using the sit-up test, while to measure smash ability uses the badminton smash ability test. Data analysis techniques utilize descriptive analysis, regression analysis with normality, linearity tests, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS version 26 application. The correlation results show a significant relationship between variables X1, X2, and Y with a correlation coefficient 0.788. Meanwhile, the contribution coefficient of determination is 0.621, or in other words, 62.1% can contribute to variables X1, durability. From the research results, the greater the arm and abdominal muscle strength a person has, the better their ability to smash in badminton.

Abstract

Masalah: Apakah melalui media pembelajaran audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar servis bawah bola voli. Tujuan: untuk mengatahui peningkatan hasil belajar servis bawah permainan bola voli melalui media pembelajaran audio-visual. Metode: Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dengan 2 siklus yaitu dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan tindakan. Subyek yaitu siswa SMA Negeri 3 Konawe Selatan yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes hasil belajar siswa pada masing-masing siklus. Hasil: Hasil penelitian dari observasi siswa siklus I mencapai 70% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90%, dan hasil observasi guru pada siklus I mencapai 70% dan meningkat pada siklus ke II menjadi 100%, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa siklus I mencapai 66,67% dan meningkat menjadi 93,33% pada siklus II. Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio-visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar servis bawah permainan bola voli.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of strength training using the standing bench press method on shot put ability. This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The total population is 110 students at SMK Negeri 5 Konawe Selatan, with 50 male students and 60 female students. Samples were drawn using purposive sampling techniques or considerations with the male sex and those who had good and correct shot put technique skills so that 30 students were found as samples in the study. The exercise was carried out using the standing bench press method for 16 exercises with the intensity used, namely 70% moderate, 80% heavy, and 60% light. The research instrument is using a shot put ability test. From the results and analysis of the research on the pretest or before the implementation of the exercise with an average of 7.21, while the posttest after the implementation of the exercise with an average of 8.79 from these results there is an increase in shot put ability. Based on the results of the paired samples test or the t-test at a significance of 0.000 > 0.05, it means that the effect of strength training using the standing bench press method on shot put ability is significant. The results of the study show that strength training using the standing bench press method can improve shot put ability with maximum results

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of table tennis forehand drives through multiball exercises. The research method used a pre-experimental design (non-design) in the form of a one-group pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were students of senior hight school 3 Konawe Selatan who were 15 to 18 years old. The subject's body weight varies depending on the characteristics of each individual. However, in this study, body weight was only the main focus if specific aspects related to forehand driveability existed. Height range 150 to 190 cm. So, the number of samples in this study was 20 students who fit the age and height criteria. The instrument used uses a forehand drive test for 30 seconds with a target. Data analysis used description analysis and analysis prerequisite test with data normality test, data homogeneity test, and using t-test. Based on the pretest average score of 19.90 and the posttest average score of 23.35, using a percentage increase of 17.34% using multiball exercises. The data analysis results show a significant increase in the accuracy of the table tennis forehand drive through multiball training. By improving the accuracy of the forehand drive, players can direct the ball more, leading to better scores in competition and encouraging the development of more innovative and creative training approaches in the sport through multiball training, enhancing technical and tactical skills in the game.

Abstract

Passing is one of the fundamental techniques in football. Good passing skills enable players to participate in the game effectively and maintain possession of the ball. Paired short passing drills also help improve individual skills. This research aims to find out whether short passing training in pairs can increase the accuracy of soccer passing in adolescent soccer players. The quantitative method used in the research is a pre-experimental design through one group pretest and posttest. The research instrument used a ball passing accuracy test for 30 seconds and used the short passing practice method in pairs. The population in this study consisted of 20 male Rekminers Club soccer players aged 15-17 years. The sample was selected using a total sampling technique, and the entire population sampled was 20 players. The data analysis technique uses the t-test to test the hypothesis to increase soccer passing accuracy in the pretest and posttest treatment using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the t-test in paired short passing exercises with football passing accuracy ability, there is a significant influence based on pretest and posttest data analysis of 0.000 < 0.05. This exercise was successfully carried out to improve the accuracy of football passing. The research results show that short passing training in pairs is an effective method for improving the passing accuracy of football players.

Abstract

Taekwondo emphasizes kicking techniques, including elgol dollyo chagi, a spinning head kick requiring flexibility, strength, speed, coordination, and precision for optimal effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of alternate leg bounding training on the elgol dollyo chagi performance of taekwondo athletes. It employs experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of 30 taekwondo athletes selected through total sampling, meaning the entire population was used as the sample. The research instrument involves an elgol dollyo chagi performance test conducted over a duration of 30 seconds. Data analysis uses descriptive tests, and the analysis prerequisite tests with data normality and data homogeneity, and continued with hypothesis testing using the t-test with the spss program version 23. The results of the t-test value obtained were 15.455, with a pretest mean of 23.83 and a posttest mean value of 36.20. Based on these results, the p-value is greater than 0.05 and has an increase of 12.37%. The results of the study showed a significant increase in the speed of execution of the elgol dollyo chagi kick after following the alternate leg bounding training program. In addition, this research is also useful in terms of athlete physical development, including strength, agility, coordination, and injury prevention.
