Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kemitraan masyarakat yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi mendeley sebagai manajemen referensi pada penulisan artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan pada proses pengabdian ini yaitu metode demontrasi. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu banyak menghadapi kesulitan memahami dan menguasai fitur mendeley, yang dapat memakan waktu dan menyebabkan frustrasi. Terkadang, terjadi masalah sinkronisasi antara berbagai platform mendeley (seperti desktop, web, dan mobile), yang dapat menyebabkan kehilangan referensi atau anotasi yang telah dibuat. Data referensi yang diimpor ke mendeley memiliki kualitas yang bervariasi tergantung pada sumbernya, dan mahasiswa perlu memastikan keakuratan dan kredibilitas referensi yang mereka gunakan. Solusinya yaitu memberikan bimbingan langsung kepada mahasiswa oleh dosen atau tutor tentang penggunaan aplikasi dan manajemen referensi secara efektif dalam konteks penelitian dan penulisan ilmiah. Menyediakan panduan penggunaan mendeley yang jelas dan mudah dipahami bagi mahasiswa, yang mencakup langkah-langkah penggunaan aplikasi. Kesimpulan yaitu secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mengelola referensi dan sitasi. Mahasiswa menjadi lebih kompeten dalam menggunakan alat ini, yang membantu mereka dalam menyusun artikel ilmiah dengan lebih baik. Mendeley telah terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi proses penulisan artikel ilmiah dengan mempermudah pengelolaan referensi dan pembuatan bibliografi. Hal ini juga mengurangi kesalahan dalam sitasi dan duplikasi referensi, meningkatkan akurasi dan kredibilitas karya ilmiah mahasiswa. Sehingga pada pelaksanaan aktivitas tersebut dari 100 orang yang mengikuti kegiatan 85% benar-benar pahan tentang penggunaan aplikasi mendeley, adapun sisanya 15% belum terlalu paham penggunaannya, karena yang belum paham memiliki keterbatasan yaitu belum memiliki leptop. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut aktivitas yang dilaksanakan dapat dikatakan sesuai denga harapan dalam pengabdian kemitraan masyarakat. Utilization of Mendeley Application as Reference Management in Writing Scientific Articles Abstract The purpose of community service partnership is to provide knowledge and experience in utilizing the Mendeley application as a reference management in writing scientific articles. The method used in this service process is the demonstration method. The problems that occur are that many face difficulties in understanding and mastering Mendeley features, which can be time-consuming and frustrating. Sometimes, there are synchronization problems between various Mendeley platforms (such as desktop, web, and mobile), which can cause loss of references or annotations that have been made. Reference data imported into Mendeley has varying quality depending on the source, and students need to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the references they use. The solution is to provide direct guidance to students by lecturers or tutors on the use of the application and effective reference management in the context of research and scientific writing. Provide a clear and easy-to-understand Mendeley usage guide for students, which includes steps for using the application. The conclusion is that it significantly improves students' skills in managing references and citations. Students become more competent in using this tool, which helps them in compiling better scientific articles. Mendeley has been shown to improve the efficiency of the scientific article writing process by making it easier to manage references and create bibliographies. It also reduces errors in citations and duplication of references, increasing the accuracy and credibility of students' scientific work. So that in the implementation of the activity from 100 people who participated in the activity, 85% really understood the use of the Mendeley application, while the remaining 15% did not really understand its use, because those who did not understand had limitations, namely not having a laptop. Based on these results, the activities carried out can be said to be in accordance with expectations in community partnership service.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa melalui sosialisasi penulisan artikel ilmiah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu demonstasi dengan langsung memberikan pengarahan kepada peserta. Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu kesulitan memahami struktur yang benar dari artikel ilmiah, termasuk bagaimana menyusun bagian-bagian seperti pendahuluan, metodologi, hasil, dan kesimpulan. Kesulitan dalam mengevaluasi literatur yang relevan untuk mendukung argumen mereka dalam artikel bisa menjadi tantangan bagi mahasiswa, terutama jika mereka belum memiliki pengalaman yang cukup dalam melakukan penelitian. Keterampilan penulisan yang kurang matang dapat menghambat kemampuan mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan ide dan argumen mereka dengan jelas dan persuasif. Hal ini termasuk masalah dalam tata bahasa, gaya penulisan, dan struktur kalimat. Mahasiswa kesulitan mengakses sumber daya yang diperlukan untuk menunjang penelitian mereka, seperti jurnal-jurnal akademik atau perangkat lunak analisis data. Hasil yang diperoleh dari sosialisasi penulisan artikel ilmiah pada mahasiswa mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai struktur dan format penulisan artikel ilmiah. Pengetahuan tentang cara melakukan penelitian yang benar, termasuk pengumpulan data, analisis, dan interpretasi hasil. Belajar teknik-teknik penulisan yang efektif, termasuk penggunaan bahasa akademik, penulisan abstrak, pendahuluan, metodologi, hasil, diskusi, dan kesimpulan. Penggunaan alat bantu seperti mendeley untuk manajemen referensi dan sitasi. Dari 100 orang mahasiswa terdapat 83% mengerti dengan tata cara penulisan artikel ilmiah, dan sisanya sebanyak 17% masih belum mengerti. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi penulisan artikel ilmiah pada mahasiswa yaitu dengan adanya sosialisasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan menulis ilmiah mahasiswa. Mereka menjadi lebih terampil dalam menyusun artikel yang terstruktur dan sesuai dengan standar akademik. Socialization of Scientific Article Writing for Students of the Department of Sports Science FKIP UHO Abstract The purpose of this study is to provide students with an understanding through the socialization of scientific article writing. The problems that occur are the difficulty in understanding the correct structure of scientific articles, including how to organize sections such as introduction, methodology, results, and conclusions. Difficulty in evaluating relevant literature to support their arguments in articles can be a challenge for students, especially if they do not have enough experience in conducting research. Immature writing skills can hinder students' ability to convey their ideas and arguments clearly and persuasively. This includes problems with grammar, writing style, and sentence structure. Students have difficulty accessing the resources needed to support their research, such as academic journals or data analysis software. The results obtained from the socialization of scientific article writing for students are getting a better understanding of the structure and format of writing scientific articles. Knowledge of how to conduct proper research, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation of results. Learning effective writing techniques, including the use of academic language, writing abstracts, introductions, methodology, results, discussions, and conclusions. Using tools such as Mendeley for reference and citation management. Out of 100 students, 83 people understand the procedures for writing scientific articles, and the remaining 17 people still do not understand. The implementation of socialization of scientific article writing for students, namely through socialization, can improve students' understanding and scientific writing skills. They become more skilled in compiling articles that are structured and in accordance with academic standards.

Abstract

Inappropriate techniques for jumping shooting in handball games include body position, shot angle, or hand techniques which affect the accuracy and power of the shot. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of jump to box training on jump shooting ability in handball. The method used uses a quantitative method of one group pretest-posttest experimental design. The research was carried out by SMP Negeri 1 Kendari, namely 20 students who took part in extracurricular activities. The instrument used was a handball jump shoot ability test for 60 seconds using the jump to box training method. Based on hypothesis testing using the t-test, the research results obtained were 5.724 > from t table 2.093 and obtained a value of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of jum to box training to improve jump shooting ability in handball games.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dalam sosialisasi peraturan pertandingan dan perwasitan cabang olahraga sepak takraw. Permasalahan yang mungkin dihadapi oleh mitra dalam sosialisasi yaitu mengalami keterbatasan dalam jumlah tenaga ahli yang dapat diikutsertakan dalam sosialisasi, seperti pelatih berpengalaman atau wasit berlisensi. Sumber daya fisik seperti fasilitas pelatihan atau peralatan yang memadai bisa menjadi kendala jika tidak tersedia dalam jumlah atau kualitas yang sesuai. Mitra sering kali menghadapi masalah pendanaan yang membatasi kemampuan mereka untuk menyelenggarakan sosialisasi secara efektif, termasuk biaya untuk narasumber, materi pelatihan, dan transportasi. Mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam sosialisasi peraturan pertandingan dan perwasitan cabang olahraga sepak takraw, serta mencapai target yang diinginkan, solusi dan langkah-langkah berikut dapat diterapkan yaitu menyediakan pelatihan intensif dan sertifikasi untuk wasit dan pelatih guna meningkatkan kualitas dan jumlah tenaga ahli. Ini bisa melibatkan pelatih dari luar daerah atau ahli nasional yang berpengalaman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta memahami peraturan dengan baik setelah sosialisasi. Sebagian besar peserta dapat menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut dalam latihan dan pertandingan. Ada peningkatan dalam penerapan peraturan dan teknik perwasitan dalam pertandingan yang diadakan setelah sosialisasi, dengan pengamatan adanya keputusan yang lebih konsisten dan adil. Survei menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta menyatakan puas dengan materi pelatihan, kualitas narasumber, dan fasilitas yang disediakan selama program. Dari jumlah tersebut, 60% menyatakan sangat puas, sementara 30% merasa cukup puas. Sebaliknya, 10% peserta merasa belum sepenuhnya memahami materi yang disampaikan dan membutuhkan penjelasan lebih lanjut. Socialization of Match Regulations and Refereeing Sepak Takraw Sports Branch  Abstract The purpose of this community service is to improve understanding in the socialization of the rules of the match and refereeing of the sepak takraw sport. Problems that partners may face in socialization are experiencing limitations in the number of experts who can be included in the socialization, such as experienced coaches or licensed referees. Physical resources such as adequate training facilities or equipment can be obstacles if they are not available in the appropriate quantity or quality. Partners often face funding issues that limit their ability to conduct socialization effectively, including costs for resource persons, training materials, and transportation. To overcome the problems faced in the socialization of the rules of the match and refereeing of the sepak takraw sport, and to achieve the desired targets, the following solutions and steps can be applied, namely providing intensive training and certification for referees and coaches to improve the quality and number of experts. This can involve coaches from outside the region or experienced national experts. The evaluation results showed that participants understood the rules well after the socialization. Most participants were able to apply this knowledge in training and matches. There was an increase in the application of the rules and refereeing techniques in matches held after the socialization, with observations of more consistent and fair decisions. Satisfaction surveys showed that around 90% of participants were satisfied with the training materials, speakers, and facilities provided. And 10% did not really understand the material explained. Many participants felt that the socialization met their needs and provided added value.

Abstract

Penelitian dalam PTK bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil dalam pembelajaran tolak peluru melalui metode bagian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan observasi, dan pelaksanaan refleksi. Penelitian ini diikuti 31 subjek yang terdiri dari 18 siswa perempuan, dan 13 siswa laki-laki. Pelaksannan hasil belajar ditemukan pada siklus pertama yaitu mencapai 54,80% aktivitas belajar siswa, kemudian meningkat sebesar 93,53% pada pembelajaran siklus kedua. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang maksimal, sehingga berdasarkan observasi mencapai 70% siklus pertama dan meningkat pada 90% siklus kedua. Hal tersebut di tingkatkan lagi pada hasil aktivitas guru dalam proses belajar mengajar yaitu mencapai 63,64%, sehingga meningkat jadi 100% pada siklus kedua. Berdasarkan pada penelitian tindakan kelas bahwa pada proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode bagian dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tolak peluru siswa.

Abstract

A low VO2max can slow down the recovery process, which can affect skills in subsequent matches. When athletes become tired, their agility and technical skills decline. Low VO2max ability and limited agility can also affect athletes' psychology in futsal playing skills. The aim of this research is to determine the correlation between VO2max and agility with futsal playing skills. The method used is quantitative research with a correlational design. The population in this study was 30 students who took part in extracurricular activities at SMA 2 Kendari. The sampling technique used total sampling, namely the entire population sampled was 30 people. The VO2max test instrument uses the Cooper test. Agility instruments use agility tests. The instrument for playing futsal skills uses passing, controlling and shooting tests. Based on the results of the correlation test between VO2max, agility and futsal playing skills (rx1x2Y) which is 0.758 with a significance value of 0.000 with a coefficient of determination of 0.57 or 57% supported by the VO2max and agility factors, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between VO2max and agility and playing skills. futsal with a significance value <0.05. From the research results it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between VO2max and agility with futsal playing skills.

Abstract

Problems: The problem that occurs is that many students are less interested in participating in sports activities, including creative gymnastics, because they are more accustomed to passive activities such as playing gadgets. Physical activity is often considered boring or tiring. Some schools may not have adequate sports facilities, such as large spaces, sports equipment, or access to trained trainers for creative gymnastics. This can limit the implementation of creative gymnastics optimally. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in students' physical fitness through the creative gymnastics training method. Methods: The type of research is quantitative with an experimental type by providing a pretest, treatment, and posttest. The sample in this study were 30 students of SMK Negeri 5 Konawe Selatan who had a hobby in the field of gymnastics. The test instrument used was a physical fitness test aged 16 to 19 years consisting of 5 test items, namely a 60-meter running test, 60-second elbow bend hanging, 60-second sitting lying, vertical jump, and 1000-meter running. The training method used with creative gymnastics was carried out 3 times a week with moderate, heavy, and light intensity. Data analysis techniques with SPSS version 20 analysis, by searching for descriptive data analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. Results: Based on table 5 data analysis obtained a value of 13.489> 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on improving students' physical fitness through the creative gymnastics training method. Conclusion: Creative gymnastics, which involves creative and dynamic movements, can improve physical fitness components such as strength, agility, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. In addition, this method also encourages students to be more active, involved, and enjoy physical activity, because creative variations of movements can increase motivation and interest.

Abstract

Bimbingan teknis untuk mengembangkan bakat sepak takraw pada anak-anak memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mendukung perkembangan kemampuan mereka di bidang olahraga. Selain meningkatkan kebugaran fisik dan kesehatan, bimbingan ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat karakter dan keterampilan sosial anak-anak. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini fokus pada memberikan pemahaman tentang teknik dasar bermain sepak takraw kepada siswa SMP Negeri 08 Kendari. Pada tanggal 24 Mei 2023, program ini diikuti oleh 50 siswa dan siswi SMP Negeri 08 Kendari. Metode pelaksanaannya menggunakan pendekatan demonstrasi dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 90% dari peserta sudah memahami teknik dasar permainan sepak takraw, sementara 10% masih memerlukan pemahaman lebih lanjut. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui bimbingan teknis, peserta program ini mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan teknis dan taktis sepak takraw. Mereka berhasil memperoleh pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang teknik servis, pukulan, passing, dan taktik permainan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini membantu mengidentifikasi bakat-bakat individu dalam sepak takraw dan memberikan kesempatan untuk mengembangkannya lebih lanjut. Technical Guidance for Developing Takraw Sports Talent for Students at SMP Negeri 08 Kendari Technical guidance to develop sepak takraw talents in children has a very important role in supporting the development of their abilities in the field of sports. Apart from improving physical fitness and health, this guidance also aims to strengthen children's character and social skills. The implementation of this community service program focuses on providing an understanding of the basic techniques of playing sepak takraw to students at SMP Negeri 08 Kendari. On May 24 2023, this program was attended by 50 students of SMP Negeri 08 Kendari. The implementation method uses a demonstration approach with preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results showed that as many as 90% of the participants already understood the basic techniques of sepak takraw, while 10% still needed further understanding. Thus, it can be concluded that through technical guidance, participants in this program experienced significant improvements in the technical and tactical skills of sepak takraw. They succeeded in gaining a deeper understanding of serving, hitting, passing and game tactics. In addition, this activity helps identify individual talents in sepak takraw and provides opportunities to develop them further.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai pentingnya pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam Basic Life Support (BLS). Mahasiswa umumnya menghadapi beberapa permasalahan dalam BLS, seperti kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam konsep serta teknik, kurangnya pengalaman praktis, dan kesulitan mengimplementasikan pengetahuan teoritis ke dalam situasi nyata. Solusi untuk membantu mahasiswa adalah melalui pelatihan komprehensif yang mencakup pengetahuan teoritis BLS dan latihan praktis dalam simulasi situasi darurat. Pelatihan yang terstruktur dan berulang dapat membantu mahasiswa memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan secara bertahap. Simulasi realistis dengan manekin atau model manusia dapat mengurangi kecemasan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi situasi darurat yang membutuhkan tindakan BLS. Sebagai hasilnya, mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan BLS dapat mengembangkan keterampilan praktis dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang pertolongan pertama. Mereka menjadi lebih siap dalam merespons keadaan darurat seperti henti jantung, pernapasan terhenti, atau kecelakaan, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menghadapi situasi darurat yang memerlukan tindakan BLS. Training and Implementation Assistance Basic Life Support (BLS)  Community service aims to increase students' understanding of the importance of training and mentoring in Basic Life Support (BLS). Students generally face several problems in BLS, such as lack of knowledge and skills in concepts and techniques, lack of practical experience, and difficulty implementing theoretical knowledge into real situations. The solution to help students is through comprehensive training that includes BLS theoretical knowledge and practical exercises in simulated emergency situations. Structured and repetitive training can help students gain knowledge and skills gradually. Realistic simulations with mannequins or human models can reduce anxiety and increase student confidence in dealing with emergency situations that require BLS action. As a result, students who take BLS training can develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of first aid. They become better prepared to respond to emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, or accidents, and increase their confidence in dealing with emergency situations that require BLS action.

Abstract

Kendari melalui program senam kebugaran yang berfokus pada manfaat kesehatan fisik dan mental. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan beberapa tahap, yaitu survei kebutuhan masyarakat, kampanye edukasi, implementasi senam rutin, dan evaluasi program. Pelaksanaan senam diikuti oleh 30 orang, terdiri dari 17 wanita dan 13 pria, yang terlibat secara rutin dalam kegiatan mingguan. Data menunjukkan bahwa 75% peserta merasakan manfaat fisik dan mental dari senam, sedangkan 25% lainnya belum sepenuhnya merasakannya. Hasil program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesehatan fisik, pengurangan tingkat stres, serta peningkatan suasana hati dan kepercayaan diri melalui kegiatan senam berkelompok. Kesimpulannya, program senam kebugaran terbukti efektif dalam optimalisasi kesehatan masyarakat. Rekomendasi selanjutnya adalah memperluas kampanye edukasi, mengembangkan aplikasi panduan senam, dan membentuk komunitas senam melalui media sosial untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Optimizing Public Health with Fitness Gymnastics in Kendari City Area  This community service project aimed to improve public health in Kendari City through a fitness gymnastics program focused on physical and mental health benefits. The implementation method involved several stages: a community needs survey, an educational campaign, regular fitness sessions, and program evaluation. The fitness sessions were attended by 30 individuals, including 17 women and 13 men, who participated weekly. Data indicated that 75% of participants reported positive physical and mental benefits from the fitness activities, while 25% had yet to fully experience these benefits. Program results showed improvements in physical health, reduced stress levels, and enhanced mood and self-confidence through group fitness activities. In conclusion, the fitness program proved effective in optimizing community health. Future recommendations include expanding educational campaigns, developing a fitness guidance app, and creating fitness communities on social media to increase public participation.
