Abstract

Kesiapsiagaan keluarga terhadap bencana perlu ditingkatkan karena bencana tidak dapat diprediksi. Kesiapsiagaan keluarga terhadap bencana berupa strategi koping dan resilience keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi koping terhadap resilience keluarga daerah rawan bencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan design penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Lokasi penelitian di Pulau Pasaran Kota Bandar Lampung. Teknik pemilihan lokasi menggunakan purposive sampling, sedangkan teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan syarat keluarga yang memiliki anak usia dini. Jumlah sampel 55 keluarga. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji deskriptif dan uji pengaruh. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa rata-rata responden memiliki strategi koping pada kategori sedang. Sementara itu, rata-rata responden juga menyatakan memiliki resilience keluarga pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji pengaruh menyatakan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi resilience keluarga adalah strategi koping

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the knowledge and understanding of kindergarten teachers about moral intelligence, especially the supporting and inhibiting factors for its development. Because the existing knowledge and understanding can be the basis for teachers in stimulating the development of children's moral intelligence. The design used a quantitative descriptive method, with test data collection techniques. This research was conducted from April to September 2018. Involving 22 teachers from 13 Kindergartens in Bandar Lampung. The results showed the teacher understood enough about the understanding of moral intelligence, what factors were supporting the development of children's moral intelligence, what factors were inhibiting the development of children's moral intelligence, the things teachers had done to develop children's moral intelligence at school and how parental involvement in developing children's moral intelligence at school. However, a sufficient understanding of the teacher cannot guarantee the development of children's moral intelligence properly. A good level of understanding is still needed so that the development of children's moral intelligence can develop more optimally.

Abstract

Social interaction is an early foundation for children to learn recognizing their surrounding environment. This study aimed to examine the relationship and contribution of teacher social skill in interaction between children through language development, especially speaking in early ages. The research was conducted I Bandar Lampung as from September through October 2015. The research subjects were 30 early childhood teachers in Bandar Lampung, which was carried out through purposive sampling technique. The research method was conducted with a quantitative approaches-regression method. The data was collected through a questionnaire and was analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a regression coefficient between variables for 0,511, with a significance value of 0,003. Interaction performed deeply by teachers on children has a significant influence to the children’s speak development. Although the contribution has not been adequate, it indicates that the quality and quantity of interaction between teachers and children needs to be increased.

Abstract

DIGITAL PARENTING: EARLY CHILDHOOD PARENTING COMPETENCY TRAINING IN THE MILLENNIAL ERA. This parenting program aimed to provide understanding and accompaniment of educators parenting competencies, especially in the digital era. Specifically, the objectives of this training are: (1) parents and teachers can apply an effective parenting method for early childhood (2) parents and teachers can implement consistent and complementary parenting strategies at home and at school in accordance with the needs of early childhood in the digital era; and (3) parents and teachers are able to use technology as a friendly method of childcare. The method chosen in this training activity was providing training and mentoring for parenting competencies either through counseling, discussions, evaluation stimulations and assignments. The training was carried out in several stages, namely, the initial stage (socialization), the implementation stage, and evaluation. The training participants were 20 parents and teachers of Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Lab School University of Lampung. The results showed that 85% of participants experienced an increase in their scores before and after the training. The average of pre and post-test increased by 2.4 points. The results of different tests (t-test) also showed that there are significant differences (sig 0.00) and improvements related to the understanding of parents and teachers regarding the use of gadgets or technology and parenting of early childhood in millennial era, before and after receiving training.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan guru PAUD tentang metode bercakap-cakap pada pembelajaran di PAUD. Populasi penelitian ini, yaitu seluruh guru TK di Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu dengan jumlah gurusebanyak 94 guru, sampel penelitian dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan hasil 48 guru, kemudian peneliti menggunakan teknik sampling area, sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Sebanyak 48 guru perwakilan dari masing-masing kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu, seperti Kelurahan Labuhan Ratu, Kelurahan Labuhan Ratu Raya, Kelurahan Kampung Baru, Kelurahan Kampung Baru Raya, Kelurahan Kota Sepang dan Kelurahan Sepang Jaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa tes dan dokumen. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 34% guru berada pada tingkatan sangat paham, 39% guru berada pada tingakatan paham, 18% guru kurang paham dan 9% guru yang tidak paham metode bercakap-cakap. Kata kunci : metode bercakap-cakap, PAUD, pengetahuan guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the percentage level of parents perceptions of Early Childhood Education in District of East Bandar Jaya. The method of research used is descriptive method with quantitative approach.  The population in this study amounted to 315 parents (mothers) and sample in this study amounted to 63 parents (mothers) who send their children to kindergartens in the District of  East Bandar Jaya. Sample taken using by Cluster Random Sampling techniques, the data collection in this study was caried out using questionnaire. While the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the research on parents perceptions of Early Childhood Education in District of East Bandar Jaya showed that perception of parents in the high category that 70 percen.Keywords: Early Childhood Education; Parental Perception.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat persentase persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak usia dini di Kelurahan Bandar Jaya Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 315 orang tua (ibu) dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 63 orang tua (ibu) yang menyekolahkan anaknya di TK se-Kelurahan Bandar Jaya Timur. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kuesioner. Sedangkan data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian persepsi orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak usia dini di Kelurahan Bandar Jaya Timur menunjukan bahwa persepsi orang tua berada dalam kategori tinggi  yaitu 70 persen. Abstract

Abstract: Social interaction is a basic foundation for children to learn to recognize the environment. So even in language and speech development, children need a proper role model for mastering and developing their potential. Often the teacher does not attempt to carry out excavations on the potential child's speech, so that the difficulties faced only considered as a weakness and close the existing potential. Through-correlational quantitative methods, this study aimed to examine the relationship and the contribution of social interaction between teachers and children in oral language development. The results showed that the interactions made by the teacher on child deeply, have a significant relationship to the children speak ability. Although the contribution has not been adequate, but it indicates the need for an effort to increase the quality and quantity of deep social interaction between teachers and early year childrens. Keywords: Social interaction; teacher; speak ability; literacy; early year childrens Abstrak: Interaksi sosial merupakan pondasi awal bagi anak untuk belajar mengenal lingkungan di sekitarnya. Begitu pun dalam perkembangan bahasa maupun bicara, anak membutuhkan role model yang tepat untuk menguasai dan mengembangkan kemampuannya. Sering kali guru tidak berupaya untuk melakukan penggalian terhadap potensi bicara anak, sehingga kesulitan yang dihadapi hanya dianggap sebagai kelemahan dan menutup potensi yang ada. Melalui metode kuantitatif-korelasional, penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengkaji hubungan serta kontribusi dari interaksi sosial antara guru dan anak dalam pengembangan kemampuan bahasa (oral language) usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi yang dilakukan oleh guru pada anak secara mendalam, memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini. Meskipun memiliki kontribusi yang belum cukup memadai, namun hal ini menandakan perlunya suatu upaya untuk meningkatan kualitas serta kuantitas interaksi yang dilakukan guru pada anak usia dini. Kata kunci: interaksi social; guru; kemampuan berbicara; literasi; anak usia dini

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior of children aged 5-6 years. Researchers used quantitative research. The research sample was taken using a saturated sample of 25 children aged 5-6 years in Ra Maarif Watas. Data collection ini this study was conducted by observation and documentation. The data was proceed Spearman rank correlation analysis. The result showed that there was a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior in children. This is evident from rcalculate 0.771> rtable 0.396 Ha is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior of children with strong category.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika konsep pengukuran penting diperkenalkan sejak dini kepada anak untuk mempermudah anak menyelesaikan suatu masalah di kehidupan sehari-hari dengan daya nalar yang ia miliki. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan penggunaan media Measurement Ship (Meship Sahaya) untuk membantu anak memahami konsep pengukuran. Media Measurement Ship (Meship Sahaya) adalah suatu media pembelajaran yang menekankan tentang pengenalan konsep pengukuran pada anak, seperti membandingkan ukuran berat dan ringan. Peneliti menggunakan metode pengembangan RD (Research Development) dengan langkah-langkah dalam melakukan penelitian Borg and Gall. Subjek uji coba ahli, pada penelitian ini ahli yang terlibat yaitu ahli dibidang media dan ahli dibidang materi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan media Meship Sahaya valid dan layak untuk di uji cobakan di lapangan. Meship Sahaya terbukti efektif sekaligus menjadi alternatif baru bagi sekolah PAUD dalam memberikan pemahaman pada anak usia dini terkait pembelajaran matematika materi konsep pengukuran melalui media yang dikemas secara menarik berbentuk kapal.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide assistance in creating the best urban environment for child development through community awareness. Activities carried out through several stages include ensuring the existence of a physically and socially strong community, the existence of a community that has clear and firm rules, the existence of a community that allows providing opportunities for children and ensuring educational facilities that provide opportunities for learning and their environment and world. . This socialization is motivated by the many findings in families (early children and their caregivers) around the world, especially those who live in poverty or in informal operations, need services that are more accessible, families face poor public transportation, unhealthy food, poor sanitation, insufficient health care, and a lack of affordable child care. These problems can hinder the intellectual development and personality of children. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and design family-centered urban areas, not only to build many playgrounds, but more than that, such as; public transportation, public facilities, health facilities, protection facilities, care, education and public spaces that are safe, clean, and free for small children and families to play together. The service was held in Way Hui Village, South Lampung with a total of 20 participants
