Abstract

Pada kurikulum merdeka diharapkan guru dapat menerapkan merdeka belajar di kelas. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan dengan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, namun hal ini belum dapat tercapai dengan maksimal di sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru MIPA disekolah mitra ditemukan permasalahan yakni pembelajaran cenderung text books oriented sehingga terjadi kurangnya keterkaitan antara materi pembelajaran dengan dunia nyata siswa. Hal ini berdampak pada sulitnya siswa memahami konsep akademik yang bersifat abstrak sehingga membuat pemahaman siswa rendah dan sulitnya menumbuhkan motivasi siswa dan pola belajar di kelas cenderung menghafal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pelaksanaan program PKM ini adalah terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran MIPA berbasis kontekstual sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya dilakukan dengan memberikan materi kepada guru namun juga disertai dengan pendampingan untuk menerapkannya di dalam kelas. Peserta cukup antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini terlihat dari semangat datang untuk mengikuti kegiatan, serta diskusi yang dinamis. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan postest yang dihasilkan diperoleh terjadi peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran kontekstual. Rata-rata nilai pretest 80 dan rata-rata nilai postest 98 dengan nilai pengujian N-gain sebesar 0,9.

Abstract

Education is a process of cultural inheritance. Moreover, culture and science are also interconnected. However, the fact is that cultural and scientific literacy among students in Indonesia is still low. Therefore, improvements are needed in the learning process. One of the recommended learning approaches is learning with the SSI approach. This research aims to analyze how to instill cultural literacy and scientific literacy within the SSI approach. This research is classified as a literature review. Data is sourced from various literature such as journals, proceedings, theses, and other scientific sources. The collected data is then selected, reviewed, and analyzed, and subsequently synthesized in the discussion. The results of the discussion are summarized to form a conclusion. The research results state that the SSI approach can instill cultural literacy through the process of internalization, so that at every stage of the SSI approach, aspects of cultural literacy can be instilled, starting from the introduction of culture, cultural complexity, and cultural care. In addition, aspects of science literacy are also developed simultaneously, starting from the introduction of science in context, knowledge and processes of science, and the development of scientific attitudes. In applying the SSI approach to science education, teachers should be able to design lessons that integrate cultural and sociocultural aspects into science learning, as well as facilitate learning and assess the success of the education.       Keywords: SSI approach, cultural literacy, scientific literacy.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v25i2.pp972-985

Abstract

The Implementation of Primary Teacher’s Forum and Its Impact Based on Teacher’s Perception. Objectives: This study aims to find out the implementation profile of primary teacher’s forum in East Sumba, Indonesia which consisted of the existence, organization, management, and its impact based on teacher’s perception. Method: This study is a quantitative descriptive study using a combination research method. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling, which consisted of 748 primary teachers. Findings: Teacher’s forum in East Sumba has been formed at about 10 years and workplan has been arranged before. The activities always hold in every semester. Directly monitoring is always done by supervisor in every meeting. Abstract

The development of a Connected Type Integrated Science Module based on differentiated learning aims to make it easier for students to understand science concepts in an integrated manner. This is done by connecting one concept to another by increasing analytical skills and realizing independent learning. Modules were developed to link one concept with another science concept to improve analytical skills and realize independent learning for students. This type of research and development (R&D) uses the ADDIE model with the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results of the validity test from material and media experts obtained an average score of 88.1 and 81.8 in both categories. The practitioner test was carried out using the module by the teacher and obtained an average score of 81.15 in the good category. The development and analysis results obtained show that the module can be used in the learning process but further research is needed on the practicality of using this module and it needs to be developed into other Integrated Science materials.Keywords: Module, connected type of integrated science, differentiated instruction.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpf.v11.n2.202301

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis cara mewujudkan sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana. Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan referensi tentang gambaran lingkungan sekolah yang relevan untuk membangun karakter yang sesuai dengan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah segala referensi yang berkaitan dengan Tri Hita Karana. Syarat referensi yang digunakan adalah berupa jurnal, makalah, prosiding dan literatur lain baik skala nasional maupun internasional yang terbit dalam kurun waktu 10 (sepuluh) tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui lima tahapan penelitian mulai dari pengumpulan literatur, seleksi literatur, analisis literature yang terpilih, sintesis dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana dapat diwujudkan dengan cara menerapkan berbagai program pendidikan yang sifatnya rutin dan terencana serta dimulai dari tahapan pembiasaan hingga pembudayaan. Peran keluarga dan masyarakat juga sangat dibutuhkan untuk mensukseskan sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

Tri hita karana are three sources of happiness in life. The three sources of happiness include 1) the relationship between humans and God (parahyangan), 2) the relationship between humans and other humans (pawongan), 3) the relationship between humans and the environment (palemahan). The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the tri hita karana concept in the learning process. This research is library research, where the data obtained is secondary data obtained from trusted sources, both books and scientific articles. The literature used was obtained through searches from Google Scholar. The results of this research show that the implementation of the tri hita karana concept in science learning process is able to develop students' full potential, both intellectual, spiritual, social and emotional, as well as forming a generation that has noble character and cares about the environment.
