Abstract

Untuk menjaga kelestarian lingkungan perlu melakukan inovasi penggunaan limbah dalam pembuatan bahan bangunan, Limbah Botol Plastik yang dihancurkan dapat diolah untuk dijadikan alternatif bahan campuran dalam pembuatan batako yang ramah lingkungan, metode yang digunakan adalah design experimen dengan menggunakan metode taguci, yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas produk batako dengan memanfatkan limbah plastik, menentukan komposisi untuk pembuatan batako. benda uji berbentuk batako dengan luas 40.000 mm2, dengan uji Maksimum kuat tekan batako, dari hasil pengujian komposisi yang memiliki kekuatan tekan paling tinggi adalah semen dan agregat ( 1 : 07 ), komposisi air dan semen (40% : 60%), komposisi limbah botol plastic (25%), komposisi pasir dan abu batu (60% : 40%) dengan dengan hasil tekan kuat rata rata 13,5275 Mpa, sedangkan kuat tekan batako pada umunya hanya 3-5 Mpa

Abstract

Abstract Indonesian government requires all products distributed and traded in Indonesian territory are halal certified. However, the ability of Small and Medium Industries (SMI) to implement this law of halal product assurance is relatively low. For this reason, it is crucial to review the application of halal assurance policy on the sustainability of fish ball SMI since fish ball grinding process is usually performed in public places, so that it is relatively risky to be contaminated with non-halal product. The objective of this research is to establish halal product assurance policy model and its impact on the sustainability of fish ball SMI. The approach used to review SMI policy and sustainability model was system dynamics simulation method supported by Vensim™ software. System Dynamics simulation generates two scenarios; the first scenario was fish ball SMI that applies halal assurance, and the second scenario was fish ball SMI that does not apply halal assurance and standard under the competitor. The simulation result showed that halal assurance gives better market share value that leads to the increasing operational cost variable, followed by the significant increase of business cash and better sustainability in the business. Therefore, the SMI actors will be able to comprehensively understand their obligation to comply with the government regulation which stated that all products distributed in Indonesia are required to have halal certification and it should be able to keep the sustainability of fish ball SMI.Keywords: system dynamics, halal control point, model, policy, sustainability

Abstract

The goal of this research is to apply risk management model related to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) by integrating Causal Effects Diagram (CED), Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The research method consists of three (3) stages. Stage 1) Using CED method to know the correlation between the risks and their causes. Stage 2) Making an assessment by using Analytic Network Process (ANP) with Software Matlab, stage 3) Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) is used to get the model of connectivity in mitigation of occupational accident. From ANP method, it is clear that the dominant potential risk in structural phase is 44% and the highest cause of accident by human factor is 77%, and it is due to the unsafe behavior. ISM method is used to know the mitigation in reducing the occupational accident risks, namely improvement of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management, Each Scaffolding establishment must be inspected by a certified expert, the working methods must obey the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), The risk control should be done in relation to potential cause of occupational accident which can minimize the risk on construction work (zero accident).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPersediaan bahan baku merupakan investasi perusahaan yang paling besar. Sehingga bahan baku harus dikelola secara optimal agar keuntungan perusahaan dapat maksimal. Ketidak sesuaian dalam pengelolahan bahan baku dapat mempengaruhi kelancaran produksi, yang mengakibatkan terhentinya proses produksi. Kelebihan persediaan bahan baku dapat mengakibatkan tingginya biaya persediaan dalam menyimpan dan memelihara bahan baku tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kebutuhan bahan baku yang optimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan produksi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan model deterministik dengan metode Silver Meal. Dengan mengunakan Heuristik Silver Meal dalam perencanaan pengendalian bahan kimia analisa pada bulan Januari – Juli 2015 menghasilkan total biaya persediaan bahan baku yang lebih kecil daripada total biaya persediaan yang diterapkan oleh perusahaan. Pengehematan biaya sebesar Rp 263.137.813 dan efisiensi total persediaan kebutuhan bahan baku dapat dilakukan hal ini dikarenakan kuantitas peemsanan yang dilakukan optimal. Kata Kunci :  Silver Meal.persediaan, pengendalian ABSTRACTRaw material inventory is the company's largest investment. So that raw materials must be managed optimally in order to maximize corporate profits. Mismatch in the management of raw materials can affect the smoothness of production, which resulted in cessation of the production process. Excess inventory of raw materials may result in high inventory costs in storing and maintaining these raw materials. This study aims to obtain the needs of optimal raw materials in accordance with production needs. The approach used in this research use deterministic model with Silver Meal method. Using Heuristic Silver Meal in chemical control planning planning in January - July 2015 resulted in total raw material inventory cost less than the total cost of inventory applied by the company. Cost savings of Rp 263,137,813 and total inventory efficiency of raw material needs can be done this is because the quantity pemems done optimal. Keywords: Silver Meal. Supplies, control

Abstract

Ketidaktepatan dalam memilih supplier dapat menggangu operasional perusahaan oleh karena itu dalam pemilihan supplier atau seleksi supplier telah diketahui sebagai permasalahan Multi Atribute Decision Making (MADM) sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan metode dalam menyelesaikan masalah MADM yaitu Simple Additive Weightting Method (SAW), Weightted Product (WP), ELECTRE, Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan supplier bahan baku yang tepat berdasarkan hasil yang mendominasi dari metode MADM.Kriteria dalam pemilihan supplier yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada model QCDR (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Responsiveness),yang mana bobot quality sebesar 0,4786, sedangkan responsiv 0,2502, Delivery 0,1581 dan Cost 0,1129. Sedangkan dalam seleksi supplier bobot yang tertinggi terdapat pada supplier A sebesar 0,272 dengan metode AHP, bobot 13,13 dengan metode SAW dan 0,6435 dengan metode Topsis. Untuk metode WP bobot yang paling tinggi terletak pada supplier D dan metode Electre pada supplier B. Namun supplier B menduduki rangkit kedua dari keempat metode MADM Sehingga supplier A dan B sebagai alternatif pemasok bahan baku.Kata Kunci: Supplier, Seleksi, Dicision

Abstract

The development of an industry in 2008 is very different with 13 years ago so that, need the reobservation on the curriculum. The graduate of Industrial Engineering of University of Muhammadiyah Malang can compete with the raduate from other university and can get the job. That is why the Industrial Engineering need to know the criteria and the necessity that the stake holder want in the development of industry, and the result of it can be use as the reference in the development of the curriculum in industrial technical. So that the graduate of industrial technical is realy appropirate with the stake holder want and ready to compete with other graduate from other private university. The aim of this research is to get the curriculum attributetha appropriate with the necessity of todays stake holder. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is use as the theory in this research. The criteria that the stake holder want in the service sector or manufacture sector are proffesion skill, managerial, interesting appearance, communication skill, computer ability, meanwhile the criteria for the private enterprise are discipline, modal, skill, creative, team work.

Abstract

Tiang pancang is the main product of PT Hume Sakti Indonesia. There were the error product of it,the company must be found the solution which can be used to increase quality of this product itself. The writer wanted to plain the improvement of product quality with using USE-PDS concept (Understand, State, Evaluate, Plan, Do, Study, Act) and FMEA analysis. After the writer have done this concept and FMEA got the result where the first DPMO for this company was 10853 per billion of chance with total of failure was 5.680.000 rupiahs. Than chose alternative which the writer can be recommended based on the FMEA table, where recommendation to choose this alternative based on the highest value. Based on FMEA table was gotten the highest priority was from the last production.

Abstract

UD. BJ Mendit on Mendit Barat, Kec. Pakis is one of centrale of home industry in Malang with it's roof production process. From the observation that the researcher do into UD. BJ Mendit, finded that the production process had been doing often with technical and non technical problems that make some failed roof product with the criterion are keropos, break, barst, gopel, sandbank. Way of this roof production planning repair is important to do so that can make this production unit produce an unfailed product and reduce loss. Purposes of this research are identifying types of roof failed product, analysing main cause of roof failed product with FMEA, and giving recommended action for Mendit's roof production process repair. This research doing the same steps as same as Six Sigma cycle: DMAIC, but not doing the last step, Control. On Define step, are doing product identifying and make the Six Sigma team. On Measure step, are determining priority failed product identifying into CTQ (Critical To Quality) and measurement of present performance with counting the DPMO (Defect Per Million Opportunities) dan Sigma level. On Analyze step, is detecting main atributs that influencing the failed product on CTQ. On Improve step, is doing process improvement with developing alternative to reduce failed product atributs. From the steps had done, finded that the biggest failed criterion is keropos. Keropos is caused by lack of skill and correctness of worker on processing the raw material, can also caused by process execution which not fully corret so that produce critical process to be repaired first to increase the quality of Mendit's roof.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan multikriteria adalah proses pemilihan suatu alternatif terbaik dari beberapa allternatif yang ada berdasarkan sejumlah kriteria dari suatu permasalahan. Pemilihan supplier yang terjadi pada PT. KTI divisi particle board selama ini hanya bersifat objektif, sehingga terjadi berbagai permasalahan didalam produksi yang disebabkan kualitas bahan baku (resin) tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ditetapkan perusahaan. Selain itu terjadi keterlambatan pengiriman, hal ini berpengaruh terhadap umur resin (live time resin) dimana kualitas resin juga akan menurun. Masalah yang lain ialah mengenai respon atau tanggapan dari supplier terhadap keluhan-keluhan perusahaan. Setiap supplier resin memiliki kekurangan dan kelebihan dalam setiap kriterianya, ada 4 kriteria yang harus dipenuhi setiap supplier resin yaitu kualitas (Quality), pengiriman (Delivery), respon (Responsiveness) dan harga (Cost). Penelitian ini memodelkan hubungan saling mempengaruhi dan dependency antar kriteria dan alternatif supplier, menerjemahkan preferensi pengambilan keputusan dalam bentuk skala numeric dan mensintensis hasil berupa prioritas alternatif supplier. Metode ANP digunakan untuk memodelkan hubungan tersebut dan mendapatkan prioritas dari penilaian pengambil keputusan dengan pembentukkan super matriks. Super matriks didapatkan dari perbandingan berpasangan elemen yang dipengaruhi terhadap elemen yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah bobot prioritas global untuk alternatif supplier yang menunjukkan urutan terpilihnya. Suppiler PT PAI menduduki peringkat pertama, diikuti supplier PT. DOVER, dan urutan ketiga  PT. ARUKI dan urutan keempat AICA.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan aspek penting dalam mengendalikan semua risiko yang ada didalam operasional perusahaan sehingga Penerapan (K3) ditempat kerja dapat meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan kerja pada setiap kegiatan proses produksi. Kecelakaan yang terjadi di lingkungan kerja sebagian besar 88% disebabkan karena perilaku yang tidak aman (unsafe action), 10% kondisi lingkungan kerja yang tidak aman (unsafe condition) dan 2% tidak diketaui penyebabnya. Oleh karena itu manajemen perusahaan harus melakukan analisis terhadap manajemen risiko yang diharapkan dapat mengurangi dan melindungi bahkan menghilangkan risiko kecelakaan kerja (zero Accident) pada tenaga kerja dengan melakukan pencegahan pada timbulnya kecelakaan kerja selama melakukan kegiatan proses produksi. Tujuan penelitan ini yaitu melakukan identifikasi potensi bahaya dan melakukan penilaian risiko bahaya yang akan terjadi di PT. X divisi Particle Board di area glue kitchen, forming dan press line. Terdapat 23 kejadian risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang sudah di identifikasi. Adapun risiko yang paling banyak terjadi yaitu pada tahapan proses forming dan press process. Tingkat risiko yang paling tinggi yang bisa berpotensi kematian (ektstrem risk) yaitu ketika pekerja melintasi tangga forming dan hot press. Sedangkan tingkat risiko yang paling rendah yaitu ketika pekerja terbentur besi beam, terkena flake yang tajam dan terkena oli panas saat terjadi kebocoran pipa.
