This study is to analyze the subsconcious communicative competence using argumentative reading for post-beginner student in reading class. The theory used in this study is the communicative competence theory developed by Savignon and linguistic competence developed by Canale and Swain. The method used is classroom action research. The finding of this study is improving the subsconcious communicative competence using argumentative reading. The finding of this study are expected to have not only practical significance, but to a certain degree also theoritical significance.

A Abstract: Understanding grammatical in making writing and composition being crucial for the learners. It takes important rule for making good writing and composition so that the readers can comprehend the benefit of it. Some grammatical errors have been found in the writing of English Letter and Philosophy students. Errors in grammar automatically cause misunderstanding and misinterpretation. Through descriptive qualitative method employed in this study it revealed that the writer’s prior knowledge o grammatical rules in Indonesia language had caused problems. Ten essays were taken as the main source of the data. The essays were taken from the final test of Writing II that was held on January, 15th 2018. From the findings it can be conclude that the writers have big deals in giving ending -s/-es in present form, giving the article, determining correct preposition, choosing appropriate words, forming passive, adding suffix, and giving final ‘s in possessive and determining plural and singular. All those problems were suspected as the impact of writers’ prior knowledge on the source language. The leaners were still in adaptation on using grammatical rules in the target language, English in this case. The formulation of some phrases and sentences were often come in source language rules. Finally, the result of this research is expected to be able to give meaningful contribution to students of English Letter and Philosophy and all the readers as well.

Sistem akuntansi dan monitoring secara manual memakan lebih banyak waktu dan tenaga dibanding dengan menggunakan sistem informasi dan teknologi saat ini. Karena memakan banyak waktu dan tenaga sehingga perkembangan dan penghasilannya pun tidak dapat maksimal. Hal ini masih terjadi pada Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM), salah satunya adalah UMKM penjahit yang ada di Probolinggo. Sistem pesanan pada jasa jahit busana dan baju saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual. Yaitu dengan datang langsung ke penjahit untuk pengukuran dan menghubungi penjahit untuk menanyakan progress yang telah dijalankan hingga selesai. Selain itu dari pihak penjahit saat ini hanya melakukan pencatatan pesanan melalui buku cacatan saja. Kedua sistem manual tersebut memiliki banyak kekurangan. Sehingga tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan teknologi aplikasi sistem informasi yang membantu dalam sistem pemesanan dan pencatatan secara digital. waktu pengerjaan juga jadi lebih mudah dan cepat. Tidak hanya mitra, pelanggan pun juga senang dengan adanya sistem informasi monitoring pesanan yang dapat memberitahu pelanggan tentang informasi proses pesanannya. Sehingga kontrol pesanan dapat dilakukan oleh pelanggan juga dan jika sudah selesai pelanggan langsung datang untuk mengambil pesanannya tanpa harus menanyakan kembali tentang proses pesanannya.

Credit and liquidity risk analysis is one of the way to view the health of a bank, especially the development of Islamic bank in Indonesia. Some of previous studies examined the effect of credit risk and liquidity on the profitability of Islamic banks, but the results were not consistent. Therefore, this study uses credit risk (Non Performing Financing) and liquidity risk (Financing to Deposit Ratio) as variables that affect the profitability (Return on Assets) of Islamic banks. The sample of this study is 4 Commercial Banks of Islamic Exchange that listed on the Indonesian stock exchange during the 2014-2018 period. The research data is the annual report of bank which is obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange website and the data is processed by using multiple regression models. The result of this study indicates that Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) have a negative effect on Return on Assets (ROA).

Speaking is the highest target in English language because speaking as the basis of communication which becomes a function in learning. There are many kinds of technique to improve speaking skill, such as information gap technique. The researcher wants to find out whether using information gap activities can improve the students’ speaking skills and analysing the classroom situation when this technique is implemented in speaking class. This research used collaborative classroom action research and composed for three cycles following the procedures of action research, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The researcher uses instrument of observations, lists, tests, and questionnaire to collect the data. The data obtained was presented in two ways, they are qualitative and quantitative. The findings showed that IGT activities were effective to improve the speaking skill of the learners in class activities. It can be seen from each cycle by the rise in the students’ mean scores in the test result, 59.8 in the first cycle, 69 in the second cycle, and 81, 8 in the third cycle. In other hand, the improvements also based on the results of the observation that showed positivity and good responses from the learners. From the questionnaire results. it was gotten that the means score for the students’ perception was 3,72. It means that the students give positive response for the implementation of this technique.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi instrumental dan motivasi integratif pada pembelajar Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing pada Universitas Panca Marga Probolinggo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang terdiri dari delapan (8) pernyataan yang diadaptasi dari Gardners (1972). Skala Likert lima poin digunakan untuk mengukur jawaban yang diberikan oleh para peserta. Ada lima puluh lima (55) mahasiswa berpartisipasi dalam menjawab survei. Pernyataan yang diberikan kepada para peserta mencerminkan motivasi mereka dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki tingkat motivasi instrumental yang lebih tinggi daripada motivasi integratif. Motivasi instrumental mengungguli motivasi integratif dengan selisih skor rata-rata 0,63 poin.

The aim of this service is to provide online marketing assistance for the owners of Batik Randu 7 Mulia UMKM hand-written batik craftsmen and to provide understanding for owners and practitioners of Batik Randu 7 Mulia UMKM about the importance of online marketing in the era of globalization. The method used is described in several stages, namely identifying and solving problems, preparing a marketing plan, providing assistance in using social media and e-commerce, and evaluating activities. The most basic problem faced by partners is that marketing is still carried out conventionally. The solution offered is digital marketing management. The marketing plan carried out is making neater photos and videos, training in using marketing tools, and setting a promotional budget. Determining the right promotional media in the form of social media TikTok and Instagram. The TikTok social media that was created has a current number of followers of 60 since the last account was created. Meanwhile, Instagram social media followers have 6 followers since the last account creation.

Based on the culture of new clothes on the New Year, Eid, and other special days, the demand for convection products will increase drastically. This condition is a big obstacle for small businesses in the creative industry in Indonesia, especially in Probolinggo. Increasing the amount of convection production in Probolinggo is by applying new technologies to accelerate the production. If convection production, both custom and general order, can be made quickly, the amount of production will increase. A buttonhole sewing machine is a machine that has the ability to embroider and buttonhole automatically. Edge sewing machine, a machine that works as a tool that is able to sew and smooth the edges of the fabric automatically. With these two machines, convection products will be faster. Both machine training service activities were carried out well. The results made using a buttonhole sewing machine show a good and short level of neatness. Edge sewing machines also provide satisfactory results. To sew and tidy up the fabric, it can be done quickly and neatly. All forms of service activities are carried out to be able to solve the problems experienced by small business partners in the creative convection industry in Probolingo.
