Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak rebung bambu terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan lele sangkuriang dan mengetahui kosentrasi ekstrak rebung bambu yang terbaik terhadap transportasi sistem basah. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian uji toksisitas (LC50) didapatkan nilai LC50-96 jam adalah 77,50 ppm yang menyebabkan kematian minimal 50% pada hewan uji, waktu pemingsanan ikan terbaik yaitu 17,92 menit pada perlakuan 800 ppm, waktu ikan sadar terbaik yaitu 3,66 pada perlakuan 200 ppm dan kelangsungan hidup terbaik adalah 100% pada perlakuan kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemberian ekstrak rebung bambu dapat memberikan dampak yang positif terhadap parameter uji toksisitas (LC50), waktu pemingsanan ikan, waktu sadar ikan dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (P>0,05). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis ektoparasit pada ikan tawes di Desa Meunasah Krueng, Kecamatan Beutong Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey deskriptif berupa metode purposive sampling. Parameter yang diamati meliputi Prevalensi, Intensitas dan Dominasi serta data penunjang dilokasi penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Tingkat Prevalensi dan Intensitas parasit pada organ ektoparasit (insang dan sisik) pada ikan tawes (Puntius javanicus) masing-masing sebesar 40% dan 2 ind/ekor. Sedangkan Jenis parasit yang ditemukan adalah Dactylogyrus sp dan Chilodonella sp.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan substrat Lemna minor dan lumpur terhadap biomassa dan populasi cacing sutra. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen dangan rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas lima taraf perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P1 = media pertumbuhan dengan 500 gram (Lemna minor), P2 = media pertumbuhan dengan 375 gram (Lemna minor), P3 = media pertumbuhan dengan 250 gram (Lemna minor), P4 = media pertumbuhan dengan 125 gram (Lemna minor), P5 = media pertumbuhan dengan 0 gram (Lemna minor). Parameter yang diamati meliputi jumlah biomassa, populasi dan parameter kualitas air yaitu suhu, pH, dan DO. Data dianalisis secara statistik (ANOVA) dan di uji lanjut dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil dari penelitian selama 50 hari menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan formulasi berpegaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap biomassa dan populasi. Perlakuan terbaik terdapat pada P1 menghasilkan SGR 1.24 % dan RGR 1.72 %.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh jarak waktu pemberian pakan terhadap performa benih tawes (Barbonimus gonoticus) dengan menggunakan sistem resirkulasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam peneliatian ini adalah metode eksperimental, rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Adapun Perlakuan-perlakuan tersebut yaitu: P1 = pemberian pakan 1 kali pada pukul 8.00, P2 = pemberian pakan 2 kali sehari pada pukul 08.00, 18.00, P3 = pemberian pakan 3 kali sehari yaitu pada pukul 08.00; 12.00; 16.00 dan P4 = pemberian pakan 4 kali sehari yaitu pada pukul 07.00; 11.00; 15.00, 19.00. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah laju pertumbuhan spesifik, pertumbuhan biomassa, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, tingkat kelangsungan hidup, konversi pakan dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa frekuensi pemberian pakan yang berbeda memberikan hasil berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertumbuhan spesifik, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, konversi pakan dan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes. Frekuensi pemberian pakan tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan P4 dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,074%, pertumbuhan panjang relatif 0,952 cm, konversi pakan 3,146 gram, sedangkan kelangsungan hidup yaitu 100%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi media kotoran ternak yang berbeda terhadap kepadatan populasi cacing sutra Tubifex sp dan menentukan media kotoran ternak yang terbaik terhadap kepadatan populasi cacing sutra Tubifex sp. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas tiga perlakuan dan empat kali ulangan. Media perlakuan yang digunakan adalah media kotoran kambing (P1), kotoran sapi (P2) dan kotoran ayam (P3). Parameter yang diamati meliputi biomassa dan populasi cacing sutra, serta kualitas air sebagai data penunjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian media kotoran hewan ternak tidakberpengaruh nyata terhadap kepadatan populasi cacing sutra.Nilai tertinggi pada biomassa dan populasi pada perlakuan P1 (kotoran kambing) menghasilkan cacing sutra sebanyak 11,53 gr/wadah dan 6.063 individu. Berdasarkan data kualitas air selama penelitian diperoleh kisaran suhu 25– 30 0C, nilai pH dengan nilai berkisar antara 5,5–8,0.

Abstract

AbstractSnakehead fish (Channa sp.) is one of Indonesia's native freshwater commodities that has been successfully domesticated by fish farmers, yet the domesticated snakehead fish culture still has problems, namely the low survival and growth of local snakehead fish. Overcoming this problem requires a technology that can optimize the survival and growth of the domesticated snakehead fish (Channa sp.). One technology that can be applied is the use of probiotics. This reserach aimed to examine different probiotics through feed to optimize the survival and growth of domesticated snakehead fish (Channa sp.). This research was conducted with an experimental method. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were control treatment (P0), treatment with probiotic composition of Lactobacillus sp., Bacillus spp. and Nitrosomonas sp. (P1), treatment with probiotic composition of Lactobacillus casei and Saccharomyces cerevisiae (P2), and treatment with probiotic composition of Lactobacillus sp., Acetobacter, Rhodobacter sp., yeast (P3). The results showed that different probiotic feeding had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the survival parameters and different probiotic feeding compositions had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the growth parameters. The composition of Lactobacillus casei and Saccharomyces cerevisiae probiotics is the best probiotic composition to increase survival and growth of domesticated snakehead fish.Keywords: Domestication, Growth, Survival Rate, Probiotic

Abstract

Siamese pangasius fish (Pangasius hypophthalmus) is a freshwater fish species originated from species introduced and has economic value for cultivation. This study aimed to analysed the administration of different commercial probiotics through feed on the survival rate and feed efficiency of Siamese pangasius fish. This research was conducted in the hatchery of Teuku Umar University. The method used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were control/administration of Mina Pro (P0) commercial probiotic, administration of Raja Grameh (P1) commercial probiotic, administration of EM4 (P2) commercial probiotic and administration of Boster (P3) commercial probiotic. Parameters observed were survival, feed efficiency, and water quality. Data were analysed using analysis of variance; for different treatments, Duncan's test was carried out. The results showed that the administration of different commercial probiotics had a significant (P<0.05) effect on feed efficiency but had no significant effect (P>0.005) on the survival rate of Siamese pangasius fish. Raja Grameh's commercial probiotic with the composition of Rhodobacter sp., Lactobacillus sp., Acetobacter sp., and yeast were the best commercial probiotic to increase the growth and feed efficiency of Siamese pangasius fish

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of application of different stocking densities in  budikdamber system on the survival rate and growth of silver catfish (Pangasius djambal). The non-factorial Complete Randomized Design (RAL) used in this study consisted of four treatments and three tests. The treatments studied were the application of a stocking density of 5 fishes/container (P1), 10 fishes/container (P2), 15 fishes/container (P3), and  20 fishes/container (P4). The silver catfish used in this study was 6-8 cm in size. The maintenance period of silver catfish in this study was in 40 days. The research parameters that measured in this study were survival rate, absolute weight growth, absolute length growth, specific growth rate and water quality. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that different stocking densities on rearing media with the “Budikdamber” system had no significant effect for survival rate, absolute weight growth and specific growth rate of silver catfish (Pangasius djambal), but had a significant effect on absolute length of silver catfish (Pangasius djambal). The best stocking density to increase the absolute length growth of silver catfish is 15 fishes / container (P3) in number 7.36 cm.

Abstract

One of the freshwater fish that has an economical price and is endemic to the lake, Ie Sayang, is Rasbora sp. Generally, fish from farms are calmer and relatively less stressful in terms of transport. This research was conducted to determine the amount of different Total density on the survival rate of bileh fish (Rasbora sp.). This research is an experimental research with 4 trials and 3 repetitions. The experiments that were applied to this research were: P1 = number of fish 25 fish/l; P2 = number of fish 50 fish/l; P3 = number of fish 75 fish/l and P4 = number of fish 100 fish/l. The survival data of fish during further research was carried out by Anova analysis. The results of this research are that the highest average survival rate for bileh fish is P4 of 99.67% and average high ammonia value was obtained in experiment 4 of 2.87 ppm.
