Abstract

Provision of local snakehead fish supply (Channa sp.) is come from nature. If demand for local snakehead fish increases then the exploitation rate of this fish in nature will be excessive. It will cause the fish population in nature to decline. Domestication is an effort to prevent the delining of fish population. The aim of this study was to ensure that snakehead from the Arongan Lambalek Area, West Aceh Regency can survive, grow and develop in various cultivation containers, therefore can be cultivated by local communities. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design with three treatments of cultivation containers and three replications. The treatment was an aquarium container (P1), fiber container (P2), and tarpaulin container (P3). The size of snakehead fish used in this study had an average length of 2.72 cm and weight of 0.17 g. The results showed that the survival rate and the highest weighting value were found in the aquarium container treatment (P1), while the growth of fish length was found in the fiber (P2) . This study showed that domestication of the local snakehead fish in Arongan Lambalek, West Aceh was successfully carried out and the aquarium is the best container for rearing the domesticated local snakehead fish larvae. Abstrak Penyediaan pasokan ikan gabus lokal (Channa sp.) selama ini berasal dari alam. Jika pemintaan ikan gabus lokal me-ningkat maka laju eksploitasi ikan gabus lokal di alam akan berlebih yang pada akhirnya dapat menyebabkan popula-sinya semakin berkurang. Domestikasi merupakan upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya hal tersebut. Penelitian ini bertu-juan agar pascalarva ikan gabus lokal dari daerah Arongan Lambalek, Kabupaten Aceh Barat dapat tetap hidup, dapat tumbuh dan berkembang dalam berbagai wadah budi daya sehingga dapat dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan wadah budi daya dan masing-masing diulang sebanyak tiga ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah wadah akuarium (P1), wadah fiber (P2), dan wadah terpal (P3). Ukuran ikan gabus yang digu-nakan pada penelitian memiliki rata-rata panjang 2,72 cm dan bobot 0,17 gram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sintasan dan nilai pertambahan bobot tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan wadah akuarium, sementara pertambahan panjang tertinggi terdapat pada wadah fiber. Hasil penelitian menampilkan bahwa bahwa domestikasi pascalarva ikan gabus lokal Arongan Lambalek, Aceh Barat berhasil dilakukan dan wadah akuarium merupakan wadah terbaik untuk memelihara pascalarva ikan gabus hasil domestikasi.

Abstract

Galah shrimp (Macrobrachium rosenbergii de Man) was a high economic level fishery commodities. The efforts to increase productivity in galah shrimp cultivation can be done by applying efficiency the use of feed. One ingredient to reduce the large feed costs in feed production was from the type of caffeine compound. This study was aimed to analyze the dose of caffeine addition in the best feed on the growth and efficiency of shrimp feed. The method used was a completely randomized design experiment with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Caffeine levels used were 0; 0.5; 1; 1, 5; and 2 gr per kg of feed. The parameters observed were growth and feed efficiency. The results showed that the best addition of caffeine was P5 = 2 gr / kg of feed producing a specific growth rate of 0.0065; FCR 0.15 and EP 6.8. From the results of this study that the addition of caffeine in feed can have a positive effect on the observed parameters (P <0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service is to apply the research results of the proposer team's research for community empowerment in Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh. Research results are applied to the activity program MERDEKA 74 "(Minapadi Together with Local Fish 7 Species and 4 Legowo) which is a system of planting rice by cultivating fish in one rice field simultaneously. This program aims to increase farmers' income with high rice yield productivity and increase local fish production. The activity was carried out for 6 months at the Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh. The results observed included rice production and fish production in the Minapadi system. The production of 2: 1 legowo planted rice has a significant effect on the parameters of rice production, namely (16.17 kg /Ha). Meanwhile, the production of cultivated fish (7 species) are catfish, bileh fish, tilapia, goldfish, catfish, catfish and giant prawns. The 7 species are able to develop and be cultivated well.

Abstract

Devotion is aimed to increase production salt in samatiga. Problems when it was a necessity of a salt with the quality of both in indonesia still rely on imported from foreign. It was because the qualities of a salt was still a lot of those managed in a traditional that is by using the light of the sun directly. To increase production salt needed latest technology able to return production land damaged quickly.Technology TUF geomembrane is technology is very effective used to a reservoir.Besides geomembran, the use of threaded filter used to fasten the process of crystallization will be quickly and the qualities of a salt whiter and not need to laundering salt.Produce a salt with that is only enough 7 to 10 the day the process drying be crystallization with good qualities.

Abstract

Beutong District is one of the sub-districts in Nagan Raya Regency with an area of 1,017.32 Km2. The topography of Beutong District supports the cultivation of freshwater fisheries. The purpose of this service activity is to educate and apply the provision of probiotic technology made from local ingredients to increase production performance and the health status of economically important freshwater aquaculture fish. The method used in this activity is an educational method and application of probiotic technology made from local raw materials for economically important freshwater fish. The program begins with educating about the concept of using probiotic technology made from local ingredients, how to make probiotics made from local ingredients, methods of giving probiotics made from local ingredients and ending with training on good fish farming. Monitoring and evaluation will also be carried out to see the level of independence of fish farmers in applying the science and technology that has been taught and the sustainability of the program as well as the obstacles during this program. The result of this service activity is that probiotic technology made from local ingredients is effectively applied to economically important freshwater fish farming.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat tingkat efektifitas tomat dalam pakan buatan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan tawes (Puntius javanicus). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Kontrol (P0), ekstrak tomat (1,25 mg) + pakan FF 999 4% (P1), ekstrak tomat (2,75 mg) + pakan FF 999 4% P2) dan ekstrak tomat (3,75 mg) + pakan FF 999 4%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tertinggi diperoleh P3 (4,44 cm) dan terendah P0 (2,38 cm), pertumbuhan bobot mutlak tertinggi diperoleh P1 (18,75 gr) dan terendah P0 (11,56 gr), laju pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi diperoleh P1 (2,96%) dan terendah P0 (2,48%), serta kelangsungan hidup tertinggi diperoleh P2 dan P3 (93,33%) dan terendah diperoleh P0 (46,66%). Kata kunci: Puntius javanicus, Solanum lycopersicum L, pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian shelter terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup juvenil udang Penaeus sp. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Adapun Perlakuan-perlakuan tersebut yaitu P1 = tanpa perlakuan shelter (kontrol), P2= shelter daun kelapa, P3 = shelter daun ketapang, dan P4 = shelter ranting pepaya. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah sintasan, pertumbuhan bobot, pertumbuhan panjang, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian shelter berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot dan SGR juvenile udang. Sedangkan Pertumbuhan panjang dan SR tidak berpengaruh nyata. Nilai terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan P4 yaitu pemberian sheter ranting papaya dengan nilai rata-rata terbaik adalah Pertambahan bobot ; 0.22 gr dan SGR: 8.18. Berdasarkan data kualitas air selama penelitian diperoleh kisaran suhu antara 29 – 30 oC, pH: 6.4 – 6.9, Salinitas: 30 – 36 ppt dan DO > 4 ppm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan dengan bahan dasar silase limbah visceral ikan dan persentase silase limbah visceral ikan yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan lobster air tawar. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali pengulangan. Adapun Perlakuan-perlakuan tersebut yaitu T0 = Pelet komersil 100% (kontrol), T1= Silase 45% + dedak 54%, T2 = Silase 55% + dedak 44%, T3 = Silase 65% + dedak 34%, dan T4 = Silase 75% + dedak 24%. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah sintasan, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, efisiensi pakan, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pakan dengan berbahan dasar silase limbah visceral ikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan lobster air tawar. Berdasarkan data kualitas air selama penelitian diperoleh kisaran suhu antara 28 – 30 oC, derajat keasaman (pH) dengan nilai 7 dan CO2  berkisar antara  0,18-0,38.Kata kunci: Lobster, performa, silase limbah ikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan kalium dan dosis kalium yang optimal terhadap performa benih ikan nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas lima perlakuan dan tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah tingkat dosis kalium yaitu 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 mg/l. Parameter yang diamati meliputi laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR), Sintasan (SR), serta kualitas air sebagai data penunjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat pemberian dosis kalium terbaik adalah 30 mg/l ditinjau dari laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,28%, dan tingkat sintasan 66,66%. Dari hasil penelitian ini pemberian dosis kalium pada media pemeliharaan sebesar 30 mg/l dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap parameter yang diamati (P<0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kuning telur unggas  dan jenis yang terbaiknya terhadap laju pertumbuhan larva seurukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas  4  perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P0: telur ayam ras; P1: telur puyuh; P2: telur itik; P3: telur ayam kampung/lokal. Parameter yang diamati meliputi laju pertumbuhan spesifik (SGR), laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR), serta kualitas air sebagai data penunjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian telur unggas yang terbaik adalah pada perlakuan P2 dengan nilai SGR 15 %/hari dan RGR 26 %/hari.
