Abstract

The dam foundation is a basic structure that meets the requirements as a supporting sector for dam construction and ensures safety against one of the serious threats in the form of seepage and Piping. Therefore, analyzing the stability of the dam foundation against seepage and Piping is necessary. This study uses the Finite Element program to analyze stability, seepage, and Piping under Normal Water Level conditions. Dam stability analysis is carried out by adding earthquake load coefficient factors OBE (Operating Basis Earthquake) and MDE (Maximum Design Earthquake). The analysis is carried out in two stages, namely the first stage without additional repairs and the second stage with additional repairs in the form of Curtain Grouting and Cut-off wall. Under Normal Water Level conditions without earthquakes or with OBE and MDE 1.00H earthquakes, the stability of the foundation in Existing conditions, Alternative 1, and Alternative 2 meets the criteria, but does not meet the MDE 0.25H, 0.50H, and 0.75H earthquakes so that dynamic analysis is required using the Makdisi-Seed method. Seepage analysis shows that the discharge in the Existing condition is 49,716.74 m³/day exceeding the permit limit of 45,000 m³/day, while Alternative 1 (255.13 m³/day) and Alternative 2 (238.55 m³/day) meet the criteria. Meanwhile, Piping analysis in Normal Water Level conditions shows that the Existing does not meet the Safety Factor, while Alternative 1 and Alternative 2 meet the criteria and are safe for Piping.

Abstract

Handling anxiety can be done pharmacologically or non-pharmacologically. Several non-pharmacological therapies that can be used to reduce anxiety levels include relaxation therapy, sound therapy, and aromatherapy. Some examples of sound therapy are classical music therapy and murottal Al-Qur'an. The Aim of this research is to determine the effect of classical music therapy and Al-Qur'an murottal therapy on the patient's anxiety level before tooth extraction by observing changes in blood pressure before and after listening to classical music and Al-Qur'an murottal. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 patients with indications for tooth extraction divided into 2 groups: the group that was given classical music therapy Sonata in D major for two pianos, and the group that was given murottal therapy Al-Qur'an Al-Insyirah Surah and its translation and then assessed blood pressure before and after giving classical music therapy and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy. The distribution of patient anxiety which is known through the MDAS-Modification questionnaire shows that anxiety is in the moderate category. The Paired T-test results on blood pressure values of each pre and post intervention treatment group showed a p-value for classical music systole was 0.132, classical music diastole was 0.148, Qur'an murottal systole was 0.000, and Al-Qur'an murottal diastolic was 0.000. The results of the Independent T-test on blood pressure values between the two pre and post-intervention treatment groups were p-value systole of classical music and murottal Al-Qur'an was 0.000, and diastolic classical music and murottal Al-Qur'an was 0.000. The conclusion is listening to classical music and murottal Al-Qur'an can reduce patients' anxiety before tooth extraction. Abstract

Labor productivity is a critical factor in construction project success as it directly affects time, cost, and work quality. In the Palm Vista Residence housing development project, delays in ground floor structural works indicate suboptimal human resource performance. This study aims to analyze labor productivity levels, identify factors influencing productivity, and formulate strategies to improve productivity in sloof beams, columns, and floor slab works. The research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods through field observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Labor productivity is measured using the work sampling method and the Labour Utilization Rate (LUR), while influencing factors are analyzed using multiple linear regression. Strategy prioritization for productivity improvement is determined using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that labor productivity is at a moderate level and is significantly influenced by work experience, managerial aspects, and coordination and planning. The priority strategies include improving worker competence and strengthening project management practices. These findings are expected to provide practical guidance for construction labor management to enhance efficiency and ensure timely project completion.

Abstract

In recent years, the development of road infrastructure in Indonesia has shown quite rapid progress. However, this process often faces technical obstacles, especially those related to the condition of the subgrade which has low bearing capacity. This type of soil condition requires a stabilization process so that the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value of the soil can increase so that it meets the strength standards required to support durable road construction. In relation to efforts to improve the characteristics of soft clay soil in the Semarang area, a study utilized coal combustion waste in the form of fly ash and bottom ash from the Tanjung Jati B Steam Power Plant (PLTU). This alternative material is used to improve the quality of the soil so that it is more technically feasible for various construction needs. Through a series of laboratory tests with variations in the composition of the fly ash mixture between 15% to 45% and bottom ash between 15% to 25%, a significant increase in the CBR value was obtained compared to the original soil without treatment. The best composition obtained in this study consisted of 40% soil, 45% fly ash, and 15% bottom ash, with a CBR value reaching 8.95%. These findings indicate that coal combustion waste has great potential in improving the quality of the subgrade. The use of this material can be a cost-efficient and environmentally friendly alternative in the construction of road infrastructure

Abstract

Indonesia is in an earthquake-prone region, therefore, designing building constructions that can withstand seismic loads is crucial in civil engineering. Reinforced concrete shear walls are one of the vertical structural fundamentals that are effectively used in multi-story buildings to withstand lateral forces due to earthquake and wind loads. Structures that use shear walls can increase stiffness and reduce horizontal deviations (deflections) of buildings, which contribute to the stability and safety of structures based on the SNI 1726:2019 standard. This study aims to analyze the effect of shear wall configurations on deviation and torsion requirements in multi-story building planning. The study object is a 6-story reinforced concrete building model in a specific earthquake zone. The design and modeling were performed using structural analysis software, taking into account columns, beams, slabs, and shear walls. The analysis results show that optimal placement of shear walls at the building edges significantly reduces horizontal drift, torsion, and shear forces, and improves the structural performance level compared to structures without shear walls or those with less effective placement. Structures with shear walls have optimal stiffness in absorbing lateral forces, making them more resistant to damage from the planned earthquake.

Abstract

Kondisi struktur jalan di sekitar terminal peti kemas Kawasan Industri Tanjung Mas Semarang yang berliku, retak dan sering rusak menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan pengemudi, beresiko merusak kendaraan, serta menghambat distribusi barang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penambahan mortar busa dengan variasi komposisi terhadap pengingkatan nilai CBR dan parameter kuat geser pada tanah lempung eksisting di Kawasan Industri Tanjung Emas Semarang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan sempel tanah lempung eksisting dari JL.Baruna Selatan, Kota Semarang, Variasi campuran mortar busa yang ditambahkan sebesar 10%, 15%, 20%, dan 25%. Pengujian meliputi sifat fisis tanah (analisis saringan, berat jenis, kadar air, berat isi tanah) dan pengujian mekanis (Proctor, Kuat Geser Tanah dan CBR Unsoaked). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanah asli memiliki nilai CBR Unsoaked 4,92% dan sudut geser dalam (∅) 14,22. Nilai CBR Unsoaked tertinggi diperoleh pada campuran mortar busa 25% sebesar 15,65%, yang termasuk kategori sedang (7%-20%). Nilai kuat geser (∅) tertinggi juga dihasilkan oleh campuran 25% mortar busa, yaitu sebesar 38,87°. Dengan demikian, penambahan mortar busa terbukti mampu meningkatkan daya dukung dan parameter kuat geser tanah lempung eksisting secara signifikan.

Abstract

Korupsi masih menjadi kejahatan ekonomi yang amat merugikan negara dan masyrakat. Dengan di sahkanya Hukum perampasan aset di rasa menjadi suatu payung hukum yang amat komparensif untuk mengatasi masalah ganti rugi dari tindak kejahatan korupsi, masalah ganti rugi akibat korupsi menjadi salah satu hal yang perlu di perhatikan sehingga perlunya segerah di sahkanya RUU perampasan aset tindak pidana korupsi yang mana meninjau dari peraturan hukum pada undang-undang No 31 tahun 1999 sebagai mana di perbarui dalam undang-undang No 20 tahun 20001 mengenai tindak pidana korupsi yang di rasa belum cukup efektif untuk menganti kerugian negara. Hukum perampasan aset tidak hanya di atur dalam undang-undang saja, dalam syariat islam mengantur mengenai perampasan aset dengan melalui dalil al-quran dan al hadist dan di perjelas melalui ijtima ulama. Di dalam fatwa ulama indonesia No IV tahun 2012 menegaskan dan mengatur mengenai perampasan aset tindak pidana korupsi. Untuk mengetaui korelasi mengenai hukum perampasan aset tindak pidana korupsi dalam perseptif hukum islam dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengunka metode pendekaran normatif melalui daftar pustaka, buku, jurnal, artikel dan karya ilmia lainya. Untuk mengetahui apakah hukum perampasan aset tindak pidana korupsi dalam undang-undang No 31 tahun 1999 sebagai mana di perbarui dalam undang-undang No 20 tahun 2001 dan RUU perampasan aset tindak pidana sesuai dengan hukum syariat islam dengan menjiau pada fatwa ulama indonesia No IV tahun 2012 mengenai hukum perampasan aset tindak pidana korupsi.
