Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Potensi Pertanian bagi Kelompok Tani di Desa Laboy Jaya. Desa ini memiliki potensi pertanian yang besar, namun kurangnya sistem pengelolaan informasi yang efektif telah menjadi kendala dalam pemanfaatan potensi tersebut secara optimal. Sistem yang dirancang bertujuan untuk memetakan dan mengelola data terkait jenis tanaman, luas lahan, hasil produksi, serta masalah dan kebutuhan pertanian yang dihadapi oleh para petani. Metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur, serta pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak terstruktur. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web yang dapat diakses oleh anggota kelompok tani dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya, guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih efektif dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pertanian. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas pertanian di Desa Laboy Jaya dengan menyediakan informasi yang akurat dan terkini. Selain itu, sistem ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat koordinasi antar anggota kelompok tani dan memfasilitasi komunikasi dengan pihak eksternal seperti pemerintah daerah dan penyuluh pertanian

Abstract

The tool design stage uses the help of the AutoCAD application. The next stage is the manufacture of used oil-fueled stoves. Followed by testing the used oil-fueled stove. Based on the results of the two stoves that have been tested above, it is concluded that the time to boil 5 liters of water in a used oil-fired stove is 2 minutes faster than a gas stove, this can be proven in the results, namely the time to boil water in a used oil-fired stove is 7 minutes, while the time it takes to boil water in a gas stove is 9 minutes. The stove that is produced is able to be an alternative when the price of fuel in the form of gas soars so that it can be a solution for cooking with fuel at an affordable price. Researchers need to pay more attention to the selection of stove wall coating materials so as not to conduct excessive heat.

Abstract

Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University (UP) in Riau Province has an Informatics Engineering Study Program that accepts new students every year from various regions around Bangkinang. Incoming student data is processed to assist decision making, especially in the field of promotion. This study aims to apply the K-Means algorithm to Informatics Engineering Study Program student data, with attributes of student name and district of origin, to group regions based on promotion potential. The K-Means method is used to group data into three clusters: High Priority, Medium Priority, and Low Priority. The results of the analysis show that there are 22 regions included in the High Priority Cluster, 23 regions in the Medium Priority Cluster, and 43 regions in the Low Priority Cluster. Regions in the High Priority Cluster are the main priority for promotion strategies, while regions in the Medium Priority and Low Priority Clusters require a more focused promotion approach. This study provides an important contribution to the promotion strategy of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at UP by using a data mining approach to increase the visibility of the study program in the community

Abstract

The selection of a study program is one of the crucial initial decisions for prospective students when entering college. This decision is ideally based on a good understanding of their interests, talents, and abilities so that prospective students can study optimally and in accordance with their potential. Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is a multi-criteria decision-making method where the best alternative has the longest distance from the negative ideal solution and has the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution. The selection of these criteria and alternatives aims to produce relevant and accurate recommendations in helping prospective students determine the choice of study program that best suits their potential and preferences. The results of these recommendations are then further analyzed to group the results of the recommendations based on the category of interest. The K-Means Clustering method using the K-Means method with the results of C1 with 9 Respondentsts of less interested study programs, C2 with 25 Respondentsts of moderately interested study programs, and C3 with 21 Respondentsts of highly interested study programs

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku usaha Mikri, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis digital yaitu website sebagai media promosi. Metode dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian dengan observasi, ceramah dan diskusi interaktif dengan pelaku usaha dan diberikan sedikit praktik sederhana. Pretest dan post test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman terhadap fungsi dan manfaat website bagi bisnis UMKM. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong pelaku usaha dalam pemanfaatan teknologi terutama website dalam peningkatan pemasaran.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build an environmentally friendly burner that integrates used oil as a fuel based on water vapor pressure and to test the waste combustion efficiency using the designed device. The design stage of the device uses the assistance of AutoCAD. This is followed by direct experimental testing to collect data on the performance and efficiency of waste combustion in the burner. Based on the results of the two burners that have been tested above, it can be concluded that the amount of shrinkage of 8 kg of waste burned in a used oil burner with water vapor pressure is more shrinkage than the used oil burner without water vapor with a difference of 1.1 kg. This can be proven in the best experimental results in the first experiment, namely to burn 8 kg of waste in 25 minutes experiencing a shrinkage of 7.1 kg, so that the efficiency of waste combustion reaches 88.75% in a used oil burner with water vapor pressure. While the used oil burner without water vapor obtained the best results for burning 8 kg of waste in 25 minutes experiencing a shrinkage of 6 kg, so that the efficiency is 75% lower than combustion using a used oil fuel burner using water vapor pressure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan algoritma shortest path klasik, khususnya Dijkstra, dengan sistem penentuan rute berbasis waktu nyata seperti Google Maps dalam konteks efisiensi perjalanan. Simulasi manual dilakukan menggunakan graf berbobot statis, sementara studi kasus di Kota Pekanbaru digunakan untuk mengamati rekomendasi rute Google Maps pada dua waktu berbeda. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Dijkstra menghasilkan rute optimal tetap (contoh: A → C → D → E dengan total waktu 5 menit pada kondisi normal), namun tidak dapat beradaptasi ketika terjadi perubahan kondisi lalu lintas. Sebaliknya, hasil observasi Google Maps menunjukkan adanya variasi rute: pada malam hari rute tercepat ditempuh dalam ±19 menit dengan jarak ±11,2 km, sementara pada siang hari rute berbeda dipilih dengan waktu tempuh lebih lama ±26 menit meskipun jaraknya hampir sama (±10,9 km). Perbedaan ini menegaskan bahwa Google Maps memperbarui bobot graf internalnya secara dinamis untuk menyesuaikan dengan kondisi lalu lintas. Temuan ini menyoroti keterbatasan algoritma konvensional di lingkungan perkotaan dinamis, sekaligus memperkuat keunggulan sistem navigasi berbasis data. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa algoritma shortest path klasik relevan untuk tujuan edukatif dan simulatif, tetapi sistem navigasi berbasis data waktu nyata lebih efektif diterapkan dalam transportasi perkotaan yang kompleks.

Abstract

The application of Information Technology is one of the efforts to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely community service by voluntarily creating an Information System for the Laboy Jaya Village Farmers Group. Lack of understanding of information technology among the public has resulted in the process of collecting, storing and analyzing data being inefficient. In addition, existing agricultural data remains fragmented across various sources and formats, making integration of critical information difficult. Limited access to timely information, such as weather forecasts and market prices, also results in suboptimal agricultural decisions. Additionally, low technological skills among employees create resistance to change and reduce work productivity. To overcome these problems, the solutions offered include intensive and ongoing training on the use of agricultural information systems for the community, development of integrated information systems that integrate various data sources, increasing the accessibility of agricultural information via mobile or web applications, as well as technology skills development programs. By implementing these solutions, it is hoped that the efficiency and effectiveness of agricultural data management will increase, supporting the productivity and welfare of farmers in Kampar Regency.

Abstract

This supply chain and logistics system training was held to increase the efficiency of distribution of Moringa-based products at PT. Mond Nature Lestari, a company engaged in the production and distribution of Moringa products which are known to have many health benefits. Even though this product has broad market potential, the company faces challenges in optimizing its distribution, especially related to high logistics costs and inefficiencies in supply chain management. This training program aims to provide understanding and skills to employees and company management in managing supply chains and logistics more efficiently, through material on supply chain analysis, inventory management, demand planning, as well as the application of information technology and digital-based logistics management systems. This training also includes an introduction to efficient transportation methods, optimal warehouse management, and the use of technology and logistics management software to reduce distribution costs. It is hoped that after the training, companies can reduce operational costs, speed up product distribution, and increase competitiveness by ensuring the even availability of Moringa products on the market. The success of this service will be seen from increased distribution efficiency, reduced logistics costs, and higher customer satisfaction.
