Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand awareness and promotional strategies on purchasing decisions for ITB Press products. The research method uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through a questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 29 with validity, reliability, normality, and multiple linear regression tests. Simultaneously, the results of the study prove that brand awareness and promotional strategies together have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, both variables also showed a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions at ITB Press, with promotional strategies making a more dominant contribution than brand awareness. The findings provide practical implications for ITB Press to optimize integrated marketing strategies with a focus on strengthening digital promotions and increasing brand awareness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online news content poses challenges for readers to capture the core information quickly and accurately. This research proposes and implements an automated end-to-end pipeline that integrates three main stages: data acquisition, abstractive text summarization, and Named Entity Recognition  (NER). The mT5 model is employed to generate coherent and concise summaries, while the BERT model is applied to extract key entities, including persons, organizations, and locations. The pipeline was evaluated using 100 news articles from the Egindo portal. Experimental results show that the system achieves an average text reduction of 62.47%, with a ROUGE-1 F1 score of 0.473. For NER tasks, the pipeline reached a Micro-F1 score close to 0.70, outperforming traditional approaches such as TextRank and CRF. These results demonstrate that the integration of Transformer-based models within a structured pipeline significantly improves summarization quality and entity extraction accuracy. The study contributes a practical NLP solution for the Indonesian language, providing a functional prototype that can be applied to online media analysis and media intelligence applications.

Abstract

Administrative academic activities in many Junior High Schools are still carried out manually, such as entering student grades and attendance using separate worksheets. This process often leads to delays, data duplication, and calculation errors that affect the accuracy of report card results. To address these issues, this study aims to develop a web-based information system for managing student report card and attendance data that can integrate all academic processes digitally. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, system design, prototype development, and implementation testing. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with a user-centered design approach to ensure ease of use for teachers, homeroom teachers, and administrative staff. The findings indicate that the system successfully reduced the time needed for grade recap from seven days to three days and decreased input errors by more than sixty percent. User responses showed a high level of satisfaction regarding the system’s ease of use, speed, and accuracy. Therefore, this information system is effective in improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of managing report card and attendance data in Junior High Schools

Abstract

Advances in information technology have brought significant changes to the education sector, including in the learning process for early childhood. The integration of information systems into learning activities is no longer limited to administrative functions but also serves as a learning medium capable of enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing a music learning information system and to examine the relationship between the quality of the information system and student learning outcomes. The research analysis framework is based on the Technology Acceptance Model developed by Fred D. Davis to explain how perceptions of ease of use and information quality influence users’ adoption of technology. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population consists of students in the New Primary music program at Yamaha Forte Music Bandung, totaling approximately 800 students. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling, calculated as rxy = (nΣXY − (ΣX)(ΣY)) / √[(nΣX² − (ΣX)²)(nΣY² − (ΣY)²)], with a total of 63 students who actively supported the use of the digital learning system. Data collection was conducted via a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring three primary dimensions of the information system: usability, information quality, and learning impact. Validity was assessed using Pearson’s Product-Moment correlation, while reliability was evaluated using Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.70. The research results indicate that the effectiveness of the music learning information system falls into the “very effective” category, with an average score of 81.3%. The usability dimension received the highest score of 87.5%, followed by information quality at 84.2%, and learning impact at 81.3%. The results of the correlation analysis indicate a positive relationship between the quality of the information system and student learning behavior, such as increased practice discipline, learning motivation, and self-confidence in music.

Abstract

The complexity of digital performance indicators in social commerce environments poses significant challenges for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in formulating coherent and actionable marketing strategies. This study develops and evaluates a forward chaining based expert system to support structured, data driven, and interpretable marketing decision-making. A design science research methodology was employed, encompassing problem identification, artifact development, and evaluation. Knowledge was elicited through literature synthesis, expert consultation, and empirical observation, and subsequently formalized into IF–THEN production rules within a structured knowledge base. The system applies a forward chaining inference mechanism to process key indicators, including followers, engagement rate, promotion frequency, and conversion rate, in order to generate prioritized strategic recommendations. Evaluation was conducted using scenario-based testing and expert validation to assess accuracy, consistency, and contextual appropriateness. The results demonstrate complete alignment between system outputs and expert judgment across all evaluation scenarios, indicating high reliability and logical consistency of the rule-based reasoning process. The system also produces context-sensitive and interpretable recommendations aligned with varying levels of business performance. This study contributes by advancing rule-based decision support systems in social commerce and providing an explainable and practically applicable tool to enhance marketing decision quality among SMEs.
