Abstract

PT X is a company engaged in the sale, purchase of computer equipment. PT X also receive services for servicing computers and laptops. PT X has a problem in the transaction data integration between service, online sales and offline sales.To overcome these problems, made an application has the following scope : the process of buying, selling offline, online, settlement of accounts payable, purchase returns, stocks of goods and services, processes accounting, and financial statements that include general ledger, sales journal, a journal purchases, cash receipts journals, accounts payable, accounts receivable reports, inventory reports, sales reports, purchasing reports, income statement, owner's equity, balance sheet. This application is made by using the programming language PHP and MySQL as data storage.Applications are made to the application's test results show that the application can automatically process the purchase transaction data, offline sales, online, general journal, payment of debts, receivables and servicing. The level of accuracy, appropriateness and completeness of the financial statements produced very satisfactory application.

Abstract

Based on the data of Polda Metro Jaya, theft of four-wheel motor vehicles experienced the highest increase which is 17 percent in 2015. Nowadays, the perpetrators are increasingly skilled in running a car theft. Despite having a car alarm for security system, it has limited distances. It leads to many unexpected ways for the perpetrators to damage on the car security system.It is certainly dangerous if the car owner left the car in a long distance without monitoring. In addition, the owner of the car will be aggrieved. Hence, it is necessary to build a technology that can help car owners to monitor the vehicle remotely. Regarding the problem above, an application that can help car owners to check their vehicles anywhere is required.Security Camera application uses Android and Raspberry Pi. This application is able to detect the movement of the camera in which is connected with the Raspberry Pi. In addition, the users can view an in-car live streaming. Moreover, the users will get notifications on their android devices and email as well as get an access to images and videos in which is detected in the camera. Therefore, this application will be able to help the users to check the situation surrounding their car as a protection from theft crime.

Abstract

There are many vehicle users that are using Android based smartphones. When using vehicle, the vehicle users must know how to manage their vehicle so their vehicles is always in a good condition.This application is created using Java programming language and using Android Studio application. The interface of this application uses Material Design. Backup and Restore feature uses Google Drive and Dropbox as online storage. Reminder feature uses Google Calendar as an event recording media.The final result of the application is that users can view their expenses as the result of using their vehicles. Besides, the users can save their data on the online storage without need to pay for anything.

Abstract

RSUD Dr. Soetomo is one of the largest hospitals in Surabaya. Therefore, the complexity of information systems in RSUD Dr. Soetomo is very complex and covers a very wide area. With this complexity, it adds the risks possessed by RSUD Dr. information system. Soetomo. See the importance of data in information systems RSUD Dr. Soetomo, then the management of IT security needs to be considered.To implement the analysis of the Information System, it is necessary to have a good standard to be comparable with the standards of the Hospital. The Control Objective for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) framework has a goal to control IT related and is a well-recognized standard in international level.Problems faced by IT RSUD Dr. Soetomo is the absence of a letter of assignment, no written report, no risk mitigation, unfulfilled intent, purpose, and scope of work from IT Security. Companies can improve the security performance of information systems with guidelines that have good standards such as ISO, NIST, CNSSI.

Abstract

Technology is now growing rapidly in the world, namely smartphones, making us easy to do many things in daily life - today. The number of smartphones with Android Operating System helped us in many ways, including in the field of work. Along with the development of smartphone technology that requires a data connection, the computer network becomes a matter that needs to be developed. For the sake of ease of development of the network, the need for computer network design simulation software.This application helps in the manufacture of computer network that have personal computer components, switches and routers. IP on each component mounting aided by the function checks the correct format, subnet calculator that can help calculate IP quickly, and alsothe function of static routing on the router. This application is built using the Java programming language with the android his studio as an IDE.Results of the testing system, component in ease of application make some form of assistance filling of each object. The main canvas which has rescaling makes it easy to adapt the application with device that based on Android. The function of the switch which automatically takes the IP from each end of the interface. The search function is an automatic way data transmission and will identify existing static routing makes us also can map the data transmission device.

Abstract

One of the Informatic laboratories in Petra Christian University is Multimedia laboratory. In this laboratory, every computer has multiple operating systems. Lot of class activities use Windows operating systems and outside class activities users usually use Ubuntu operating system. Changing the operating system from Windows 7 to Ubuntu takes a long time because the operating system must be changed manually. Changing the operating system manually may not cause a problem if the change is just applied to a single computer. If the number of computers is 20, further more, the operating system is changed 2 – 4 times a day, then changing the operating system may take a lot of time. This will trouble the lab assistant too much and delay the class activities.

Abstract

A developing organization need information technology in itsoperational activity. However what is often considered is how toensure that data saved in server is safe from unauthorized parties.Therefore, this thesis reviews how a person who is appointed as asecurity analyst do penetration testing in a system with variety toolsgiven and how the report can be understood from by people frommanagers to programmers. Besides giving the how-to knowledge,this thesis also reviews how secure is the organization under reviewin keeping their data safe from other parties who are not supposedto get access to important operational activity data.

Abstract

In carrying out daily activities, employees need to do attendance, which is one of the requirements for the salary calculation process. Presence is the level of attendance of employees regarding responsibility. Every permanent lecturer and permanent employee of Petra Christian University always makes a presence when entering and when returning. In attendance attendance records, there are many found in attendance data that is empty (not recorded) or twin during the recapitulation process at the end of the period. This happens because there are employees who forget, feel they have attended, or are not sure whether the presence data has been recorded or not. So that employees make a presence again to ensure that their attendance data is recorded.At this time, to check the attendance data, the employee must enter protal sim.petra.ac.id first. Then every time you enter, the employee needs to fill in the username and password for the login process. This is a matter that is considered less practical and efficient. Because only to check attendance attendance every day, employees need to enter the portal and login first.With the creation of mobile applications, it can make the checking process more practical and efficient. Employees only need to log in at the beginning when they first download the application. In the application there is also a graph of attendance calculations within an interval of one week. The graph is intended so that employees know whether in one week the employee is exposed to the presence limit or not. In addition, it can also be used to remind employees if on the previous day, attendance data was empty, the time of arrival and the time of return. If this happens, the employee can also submit a manual presence submission to the application.

Abstract

Saat ini, banyak masyarakat Surabaya yang berpergian baik itu ke kantor atau sekedar jalan – jalan menggunakan alat transportasi umum seperti bus atau bemo. Tidak sedikit pula orang yang merasa kesulitan dalam memperoleh informasi rute angkutan umum yang ada di Surabaya.Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan itu, penulis merancang sistem informasi pencarian transportasi umum yang ada di Surabaya dengan menggunakan perangkat Android. Aplikasi pencarian informasi transportasi umum menggunakan koneksi Internet untuk berkomunikasi dengan server. Aplikasi pencarian informasi transportsi umum dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, aplikasi ini dapat melakukan pencarian nama angkutan berdasarkan lokasi awal dan lokasi tujuan, menampilkan list rute yang dilalui oleh setiap angkutan, menampilkan posisi jalan – jalan yang dilalui oleh angkutan melalui google map dan melakukan perhitungan jarak dari lokasi awal sampai lokasi tujuan.

Abstract

Nowadays, in the era that technology grows rapidly, computer network is not something new to be learnt. Almost every company uses a computer network to facilitate the transfer of data and information. Internet, the huge computer network, is popular and is not a novel matter to most people. Many devices can interact with each other using internet. Computer networks themselves have components that mutually support each other, including Server and Router. An understanding of computer networks can be used to perform the analysis when there is a problem in the network.Therefore, this thesis was made with the aim of helping people to understand how a computer network works. This application is supported by the distributuin of structured subjects, making them easier to undertand. Each subject also includes images corresponding to the subject being discussed.The experimental results show that the application can work well on different Android devices. Everytime the application is started, the user needs to provide connection for the system to download data, text, and images.
