Abstract

Computer is a widely used device by everyone. Computer is used for many purposes such as: internet browsing, playing video games, music and videos, giving assistance for office works etc. Computer is also equipped with a very large storage system called hard drive. This equipment allows user to store large amount of their own data into the computer. The hard drive is also used for storing downloaded files from the internet. Computer viruses are programs that attacks computer via downloaded file from the internet. The purpose of this thesis’ creation is to help computer users to prevent various virus attacks. This thesis is made using Construct 2 an open source game development software that can be used even without basic programming knowledge. In this thesis there will be 4 types of games based on four types of viruses based on the activities they will do in the computer. With the creation of this thesis computer users can understand better about computer viruses and its prevention methods.

Abstract

Ambon city is a city that continues to develop new tourist attraction in a sustainable manner and has a lot of natural potential that can be used as a tourist attraction, especially nautical tourism, including underwater tourism potential, because areas with a large area of sea would save a million natural wealth. In addition to having the characteristics of marine tourism appeared as a hallmark of the city of Ambon island, also has a historical and cultural values are quite high. A form of historical and cultural heritage physique to date can be seen among them are the buildings of worship, places of burial, the houses of the king, the forms of sculpture associated with trust and heroism, monument struggle, forts and several lodging and adequate transportation.Features provided for tourism application is equipped with features such as information on attractions, events, hotels, culinary tours, transport and travel, shopping centers, in addition to the existing rating, comments and map navigation. Based on the results of testing this learning applications can run well on devices with the Android operating system version 4.1 to 5.1.1. In addition it is also testing done by giving questionnaires to 10 respondents to determine the level of satisfaction of respondents as much as 75%.

Abstract

Continuing Education Centre is an unit engaged in education services under coordination of Vice Rector Academic Petra Christian University. Continuing Education Centre is qualified for continuing education with variety in their programs. Until now, Continuing Education Centre doesn’t have a system that helps its transaction process so mistakes often made in transaction process. Therefore, in this thesis will be made accounting information system and the estimated expenditure programs, which  help the Continuing Education Centre in processing transactions and records them into useful reports for Continuing Education Centre.The process of making this system starts from analyzing the needs of the company, making the design system using Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relational Diagram. The system is built using the MySQL database and Hypertext Prepocessor (PHP). Scope of the development includes transaction recording, scheduling and estimation, manufacture of Chart of Accounts, manufacture of transaction expenses, as well as the manufacture of journals and reports automatically.  All of these are supported using a VPN server based on Windows 7 OS and website interface.Test result shows the programs are able to assist in processing transactions, forecasting and producing reports which useful for the finance of Continuing Education Centre. According to the questionnaire, it is proven to be able fulfilling the company needs with satisfaction level of 66.66% are pleased and 33.33% are adequate.

Abstract

The monitoring system is an important component that we need a system datacenter. Problem can be occurred if a datacenter system does not have a monitoring system. It could lead to be a problem for a network administrator to manage and monitor servers in a network.This thesis intends to make a system monitoring with monitoring tools namely Zabbix. Zabbix is a monitoring tools that have user friendly interface, and also can display some information needed to improve work of network administrator. Some features such as Telegram API and SMS API added in Zabbix.By doing so, Zabbix can send notification message to network administrator if trouble happens in network. The result shows by adding Telegram API and SMS API in Zabbix, network administrator can reveal network condition in real time.

Abstract

Tanaman merupakan dekorasi yang umum dipakai untuk segala jenis tempat. Dari tempat komersil seperti hotel, restoran, butik pakaian, hingga ke tempat non-komersil yaitu rumah tempat tinggal. Kebutuhan akan tanaman tidak akan berkesudahan dan bukan sebuah tren yang akan hilang. Maka dari itu, perawatan akan tanaman juga akan selalu dibutuhkan untuk konsumen dan produsen tanaman. Perawatan tanaman bisa menjadi hal yang merepotkan, terutama tanaman anggrek. Perawatan tanaman yang sangat umum sampai saat ini adalah mengandalkan sumber daya manusia. Dalam penelitian lain, ada yang sudah menggunakan Arduino akan tetapi tidak dapat dikontrol secara mobile.Tanaman yang dipilih untuk penelitian ini adalah tanaman anggrek, karena tanaman anggrek merupakan tanaman yang memiliki harga relatif mahal. Selain itu perawatannya relatif lebih susah dari tanaman lainnya. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah observasi langsung ke petani anggrek dan eksperimen pribadi, baik untuk pertumbuhan anggrek, maupun pengujian microcontroller.Dengan berbagai bidang kehidupan yang dimudahkan dengan adanya teknologi. Kemudahan akses dari teknologi juga memicu penggunaan internet yang semakin meningkat. Penggunaan smartphone juga semakin meningkat di masyarakat. Itu menandakan bahwa sebuah sistem perawatan tanaman otomatis sangat mungkin dilakukan dengan biaya rendah. Sistem penyiraman tanaman menggunakan Arduino yang terhubung dengan internet sebagai perantaranya. Selanjutnya, Arduino akan terhubung dengan server Blynk. Terhubungnya Arduino ke server Blynk dapat menghubungkan Arduino dengan perangkat mobile. Sehingga sangat memungkinkan untuk mengontrol dan memonitor tanaman menggunakan smartphone dan membantu pertumbuhan anggrek.

Abstract

Electronic Company in Surabaya is a company whichengaged in the electronic sales with branches scattered insome big cities in Java Island. The labor needs are increasedand employement activities need to be integrated acrossbranches require coordination by human resourcesinformation system (HRIS). In order to know HRISmanagement process’ level with current needs, it is requiredto conduct process capability level measurement. COBIT 5 isa framework used to measure HRIS process capability leveland has been combined with ITIL V3 2011 to help audit’s datacollection.The following steps in this research start from literature studyto review business documents and literature study ofresearch’s material, then to conduct interview, observationand questionnaire on data collection and data management.The result of data management was used to assess capabilitylevel and gap analysis, before finally it was verified andpassed improvement strategies and process recommendations.As the result of process capability level measurement, serviceagreements management process at Electronic Company inSurabaya is on level 1 (performed process) and level 2(managed process).

Abstract

Teaching and learning process are growing over time and technology behind it are growing too so that the process of learning with online media or often referred to as e-learning where provided media that can be accessed via the internet. This phenomenon is interesting to examine because some e-learning systems that exist today are not yet fully secure, in the sense that it is still easy to be disseminated without any copyright and not used wisely. The purpose of this research is to produce an application that can be used as a media for e-learning of streaming audio and video without storing the file on local cache device so that the file residing in e-learning media cannot be disseminated and be used wisely. As a research methodology using deductive qualitative method, data collective process is done by literature study, interview, and observation. After the data collected, will result e-learning software based on website and mobile that can be used to stream media files without downloading it. The result of this test and analyze shown that streaming with RTSP protocol is can be used into e-learning software with a limited users.

Abstract

Internet of things has a concept that aims to expand the benefits connected in a continuous internet connection on an ongoing basis. The method used by Internet of Things is automatic control without distance. Implementation currently gallon control of water is still done by looking at the state of gallons and then gallons turn when the water in the gallon is already empty. With the internet of things can be implemented a water volume detector that can monitor the state of the gallon from a distance through a smartphone. To make the manufacture of water volume detection required tools such as water flow sensors, microcontroller or other tools that are then connected to the internet. For interaction relationship of water flow sensor, microcontroller, or other tool of help through internet used Android application. This Android application is used to facilitate users to access the internet anywhere. This Android application is made by using Android studio and microcontroller made with Arduino programming using C language. Microcontroller used is WeMos D1 R2 which has been contained ESP8266 in it.The result of this water volume detection development is the microcontroller can transmit sensor data to the Ubidots server so that the application can retrieve sensor data on the Ubidots server. Users can view the gallon state in real time and are also given a notification when the gallon water volume is below alert level. Users can also view reports of gallons per month.

Abstract

Speed is very needed by humans, because humans increasingly busy in work. Speed is important for humans who wants to support the desire of almost instantaneous. Some business opportunities that take advantage of technological advances which can be seen more and more business transactions are done online. The existence of e-commerce as GoFood, Food Panda, McDelivery, PHD, KFC Online is an alternative promising business to be applied in the era of technological development today, because e-commerce provides much convenience for both parties, either from the seller or from the buyer. Based on this background Catering ELLA seeks to create a website booking service and administration. The website is expected to create comfort and speed in the process of ordering food. The entire purchase feature to report all incorporated into a system that is not bothersome owner and reduce the risk of human error. Overall a website created in accordance with the needs of catering and users. Users feel the speed and in the process of purchasing food for catering and administrative processes.

Abstract

Toko Sumber Mulia is a commercial enterprise engaged in the sale of daily necessities (groceries) located at Jl. Iskandar Pertokoan Blok 10 no.2 Sampit - Central Kalimantan. The trading business requires administrative information systems that can be expected to process administrative records and stock will be easier to do and can saving time. The use of the web on the information system to function so that the owner can control the shop with ease even though you are not in the store by using a personal computer.This application is made by using PHP and MySQL Server as the database storage system. The method used in the calculation of cost of sales is by using the FIFO (First In First Out).From the results of testing of applications, indicates that the application can process data directly related to the process of buying and selling automatically. Sales report, purchase report, stock reports and income statement can be done quickly.
