Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The purpose of this study is to enhance students’ learning achievement by applying the CRT approach in class IV at SDN 6 Cakranegara. This research is a form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted with the assistance of the classroom teacher as a collaborator. The study was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were 20 fourth-grade students of SDN 6 Cakranegara. Data were collected through tests and observations, and analyzed descriptively using percentages. The results of the study showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach. This is evidenced by a learning achievement score of 0.93, categorized as high. The average learning outcomes of students before the implementation were in the low category. The average percentage of students’ learning motivation during the first cycle reached 0.63 (medium category), and increased to 0.92 (high category) in the second cycle. Observations also indicated that students became more persistent in completing tasks, resilient when facing difficulties, demonstrated high learning interest, enjoyed working independently, were able to defend their opinions, and showed enthusiasm in solving problems related to the learning materials.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the subject of Pancasila Education through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, focusing on enhancing students’ academic achievement during the learning process. The participants of this study were 25 students from SDN 6 Cakranegara. Data were collected through tests and observation sheets using a purposive sampling technique, and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods.The findings revealed that, during the pre-cycle stage, the students’ classical mastery level was 28%, with 7 students achieving mastery and 18 students not yet meeting the criteria. After the implementation of the CRT learning model in Cycle I, the mastery level increased to 60%, with 15 students achieving mastery and 10 students remaining below the standard. In Cycle II, the mastery level further increased to 88%, with 22 students achieving mastery and only 3 students not yet achieving mastery. These results indicate that the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes on the topic of cultural diversity within the context of unity and integrity in the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Language is used to convey emotions both directly and indirectly in various forms. Literary works are one form of language, while songs combine literary and artistic elements by merging lyrics with melody. Today, songs have become one of the most popular forms of art, though many people do not fully understand the meaning behind them. The song lyrics in Johnny Hallyday's album “Gang” are used as the object of research to analyze their meaning, focusing on Djajasudarma's theory of types of meaning. This research aims to analyze the types of meaning present in the song lyrics from the album “Gang” by Johnny Hallyday. A descriptive qualitative method is used in this study, with reading, note-taking, and literature study as data collection techniques. The results reveal 223 data points with 11 types of meaning. The 11 types of meaning found in the song lyrics of the album “Gang” include narrow meaning, broad meaning, cognitive meaning, connotative meaning, emotive meaning, referential meaning, construction meaning, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, propositional meaning, and idiomatic meaning. Among these, lexical meaning is the most frequently appearing type. The findings of this study can be applied in semantics courses to help students understand how the theory of types of meaning is used in analyzing the meaning of a text, particularly in song lyrics, and also help learners expand their French vocabulary and gain exposure to French songs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan sebuah riset penelitian dalam menilai pengaruh motivasi, komitmen dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebagai berikut: 1) Bagaimana pengaruh Motivasi tehadap kinerja pegawai pada DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Ciamis?; 2) Bagaimana pengaruh komitmen pegawai tehadap kinerja pegawai pada DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Ciamis; 3) Bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Ciamis. 4) Bagaimana pengaruh Motivasi, komitmen pegawai dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Ciamis? Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode penyebaran kusioner atau angket. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dan studi lapangan. Sedangkan teknis analisis data yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan penyebaran kusioner Dari penelitian bahwa dapat diperoleh: 1) Hasil dari penelitian di DP2KBP3A Kabupaten Ciamis berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja petugas dan berpengaruh signifikan, artinya apabila motivasi, komitmen dan kompetensi yang sangat tinggi maka akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja petugas. Jadi motivasi, komitmen dan kompetensi adalah factor utama dalam meningkatkan kinerja petugas pada Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk Keluarga Berencana Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Ciamis akan meningkat pula.

Abstract

Tumor growth and metastasis in NPC patients suspected role of several molecular biomarkers that have been identified in tumor specimens of patients with NPC. Recent research states intracellular Hsp70 is a stress protein that is a main factor for the growth, invasion and metastasis of NPC. The purpose of this study is to analyze intracellular Hsp70 protein expression of NPC patients which correlate with staging of NPC as clinical manifestation. This study used cross sectional design. In this study, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded biopsy specimens were obtained from 18 NPCs with all of histopathology and clinically divided into N0, N1, N2, N3. The expression of intracellular Hsp70 was obtained with immunohistochemistry using monoclonal antibody Anti Human Hsp70 antibodi from Santa Cruz Biotechnology, California, USA. Assessment of the staining was performed with Remmele methode by Histopathologies doctor Consultant. The Spearman's test was used to determine the relationship between expression of intracellular Hsp70 protein and enlargement cervical nodul of NPC. Statistical significance was defined as p <0,05. There were 18 patients NPC patients that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Showed negative intracellular Hsp70 expression by 16,67% for all sample in which consist 1 patient of N0, 1 patient of N1, 1 patient of N2, 0 patient of N3. Followed by 27,78% mild positive intracellular Hsp70 expression which consist 0 patient of N0, 2 patients of N1, 0 patient of N2, 3 patients of N3. Followed by 44,44% moderate positive intracellular Hsp70 expression which consist 0 patient of N0, 0 patient of N1, 1 patient of N2, 9 patients of N3. Followed by 11,11% strongly positive intracellular Hsp70 expression which consist 0 patient of N0, 0 patient of N1, 0 patient of N2, 2 patients of N3. Spearman test results test scores p = 0.01 with a correlation coefficient 0.606. Correlation of intracellular Hsp70 protein expression with enlargement cervical nodul of lymphe (N0, N1, N2, N3) in patients with NPC showed significant (p<0.05). In conclusion, there was correlation between increase of the intacellular Hsp70 expression and enlargement cervical nodul of lymphe in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi kurikulum berbasis lingkungan di sekolah Adiwiyata dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Dilakukan di UPT SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih, Kabupaten Pringsewu, menggunakan desain kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah untuk kurikulum, guru, siswa, dan komite sekolah, dan triangulasi dengan observasi lapangan dan analisis dokumen. Temuan menunjukkan fondasi kontekstual yang kuat melalui visi, kebijakan, dan struktur tata kelola Adiwiyata sekolah. Masukan umumnya memadai dan meningkat, namun tidak merata digunakan di seluruh mata pelajaran. Proses diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan pembiasaan sehari-hari, tetapi kesenjangan utama muncul antara pemantauan administratif dan evaluasi reflektif kualitas pembelajaran. Produk termasuk peningkatan sikap siswa, perilaku, dan budaya sekolah yang lebih hijau; namun, stabilitas mereka membutuhkan pelembagaan yang lebih kuat untuk mempertahankan dampak jangka panjang. Studi ini menyumbangkan rekomendasi berbasis bukti untuk mengalihkan evaluasi ke artefak pembelajaran, refleksi, dan penyematan tingkat sistem untuk keberlanjutan.
