Abstract

إن التواصل الاجتماعي هو أمر لا يمكن الابتعاد عنه في عصرنا الراهن. فالناس يتبادلون في الآراء والأخبار وما يحيط بهم من الذكريات والـمناسبات وما إلى ذلك من خلال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. وتعتبر الفيسبوك والانستغرام من أكثر الوسائل استخداما في منصة التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث تتزين الـمظاهر الـمرئية على شاشة العرض باللغة الكتابية، وذلك بـمثابة وسيلة للتفاهم والتواصل بين مستخدميها. وتصبح اللغة في هذا الصدد لغة وسيطة يمكن من شأنـها أن تولد السرد اللغوي والسمات اللغوية الجذابة ومن بينها التحيزات اللغوية. وبإمكاننا رؤية هذه الوقائع من الـملاحظات الدقيقة نحو الـمظاهر اللغوية في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. تناول هذا البحث السمات اللغوية وتحيزاـتها من القواعد والأساليب. واعتمد فيه على الـمقاربة الأسلوبية مدعوما بـمنهج البحث النوعي. وتم تحليل الـمعطيات بالاستطلاع على البيانات والـملاحظة الدقيقة والتوثيق. وتوصل هذا البحث إلى السمات اللغوية الواردة في الإشعارات والتعليقات والـمناسبات والصفحات وغير ذلك. وفيما يخص بالتحيزات اللغوية فتم الحصول عليها من متابعة القضايا اللغوية من القواعد واختيار الألفاظ والـمعاني. الكلمات المفتاحية: السمات اللغوية وتحيزاتها، التواصل الاجتماعي، والتحليل الأسلوبي

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of miasma and the spiritual implications of earthquakes as depicted in the Naskah Cerita Gempa (The Story of Earthquake) manuscript found in Ambon, “The Story of Earthquake” is a manuscript from the collection of Husain Hatuwe. It is cataloged in both the Ambon Manuscript Catalog and the Religious Catalog of the Makassar Research and Development Center, under the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The manuscript has been digitized through a collaborative effort between the Pernaskahan Nusantara Foundation and the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at the University of Indonesia, in partnership with the Endangered Archives Programme (EAP) of the British Library. The digitized version of “The Story of Earthquake” manuscript can be accessed online via the EAP British Library’s website using the code EAP276/7/10. This study employs a textual analysis adopting Han-Liang Chang’s disaster semiotics methodology which categorizes disasters into three phases: natural events, interpretations and effects. The findings of this study reveal that natural events, in the form of weather changes associated with miasma, have a significant impact on all forms of life, including animals, plants and humans. These changes lead to damage and death, prompting individuals to seek protection. This research underscores the profound spiritual and physical effects of natural disasters as interpreted through the lens of the Naskah Cerita Gempa manuscript.

Abstract

The study of humans is always interesting to discuss because by knowing how he came from and he will end, he will know the meaning or purpose of living life. This research focuses on human creation by using semantics to reveal the meaning contained in the Qur'an which specifically discusses the process of human creation. This research uses a qualitative method. Where researchers collect data and analyze it then describe it descriptively. This research seeks to prove that the Qur'an is the main reference for humans because its contents remain compatible with the science that has developed to date and will continue to do so.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Toafl.com as a simulation platform for learning Al-Arabiyah lil Akadimiyah based on CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) to support the Arabic language skills of students of the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Program (SII) Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Yogyakarta. The research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation for half a semester. The subjects of this study were class 3B students of the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Program (SII) UNU Yogyakarta. The results of the study indicate that the application of Toafl.com can help students understand question patterns, improve linguistic skills, and help students understand various Arabic language skills, including Istima' (listening), Kalam (speaking), Qira'ah (reading), and Kitabah (writing), according to the CEFR level (A1-C2). In addition, Toafl.com is also able to provide direct feedback, making it an effective tool in identifying weaknesses and potential improvements in students' Arabic language skills. This study recommends a wider integration of Toafl.com into the Arabic language learning curriculum at the college level.

Abstract

Wall Magazine development activities are carried out so that students are able to improve their Islamic character through mading by getting used to honesty, responsibility, cooperation and discipline. This is reflected in the collaborative process of managing the wall magazine, starting from theme planning, collecting works, to publication. Apart from that, this activity is carried out to encourage students' creativity, especially in terms of writing, drawing and visual design skills. The method of making a wall magazine begins with information on the urgency of having a school wall magazine by the assistants, followed by the layout of each news item, and finalization. With these processes, MI Ma'arif Bego students can work together, respect and honor the opinions of others, and care about the work of others. Instilling Islamic values ​​into the content of the media is a key aspect that provides deep meaning for students, so that this activity not only builds technical skills, but also forms an Islamic personality. Methods of activities carried out include making wall boards in grades 4 and 5, providing media development so that students can easily work together in making wall plates. The creation of weekly wall magazines at MI Ma'arif Bego is a forum for instilling Islamic character values ​​to MI M'arif Bego students. Cooperation, mutual respect and appreciation, and caring about the work of others are parts that can be instilled. So is creativity, which has so far received less attention. The existence of weekly wall magazines is a demonstration of creativity in compiling and making wall magazines.

Abstract

egiatan field study yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Studi Islam Interdisipliner Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta bertujuan untuk memperkuat kompetensi mahasiswa dalam produksi siaran dakwah melalui pembelajaran kolaboratif. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Radio UNISIA 1197 AM dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang menempatkan mahasiswa sebagai co-researcher dalam proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi produksi siaran. Mahasiswa terlibat aktif dalam serangkaian pelatihan seperti pembuatan teks insert dan berita, voice over, serta proses editing konten siaran dengan dukungan tim profesional dari Radio UNISIA. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan teknis mahasiswa dalam bidang penyiaran, serta memperkuat pemahaman mereka tentang strategi dakwah berbasis media. Selain menghasilkan konten dakwah digital, kegiatan ini juga membangun jejaring kolaboratif antara institusi pendidikan dan media. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi praktis semacam ini mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang aplikatif serta memperluas ruang dakwah Islam di era digital.

Abstract

Mastering Arabic writing skills (Mahārat al-Kitābah) requires strong morphological competence because it underlies accurate word formation and meaning. Yet, morphological errors still frequently appear and influence students’ writing performance. This study analyzes the types of morphological errors in the Arabic writing of third-semester students at Nahdlatul Ulama University Yogyakarta and identifies the factors causing them. Using a qualitative error-analysis approach, the research draws on students’ written assignments as the main data source. The findings show four major error categories: verb conjugation, plural formation, verb–pronoun mismatch, and gender agreement. These errors are mainly caused by limited understanding of ṣarf, Indonesian language interference, and insufficient structured writing practice. The results underline the need for teaching strategies that improve accuracy in Arabic writing.Menguasai keterampilan menulis bahasa Arab (Mahārat al-Kitābah) memerlukan kompetensi morfologis yang kuat karena hal ini mendasari pembentukan kata dan makna yang akurat.  Namun, kesalahan morfologis masih sering muncul dan mempengaruhi kinerja menulis mahasiswa.  Studi ini menganalisis jenis-jenis kesalahan morfologis dalam tulisan bahasa Arab mahasiswa semester tiga di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebabnya.  Menggunakan pendekatan analisis kesalahan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengandalkan tugas tertulis mahasiswa sebagai sumber data utama.  Temuan menunjukkan empat kategori kesalahan utama: konjugasi kata kerja, pembentukan jamak, ketidakcocokan kata kerja–kata ganti, dan kesesuaian gender.  Kesalahan-kesalahan ini terutama disebabkan oleh pemahaman yang terbatas tentang ṣarf, interferensi bahasa Indonesia, dan kurangnya praktik menulis yang terstruktur.  Hasilnya menekankan perlunya strategi pengajaran yang meningkatkan akurasi dalam penulisan bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The low listening ability of students in learning Arabic is caused by the use of learning media that is still conventional and less interactive. This study aims to examine the use of Quizalize as an interactive learning and evaluation medium in Arabic listening instruction and to explore students’ responses to its implementation. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the study involved third-semester students of the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Yogyakarta. Data were collected through a questionnaire designed to capture students’ perceptions of Quizalize in terms of usability, attractiveness, learning motivation, and perceived effectiveness. The results indicate that students responded positively to the use of Quizalize, particularly regarding increased engagement, ease of use, and immediate feedback during listening activities. These findings suggest that Quizalize supports a more interactive and student-centered learning environment and functions effectively as a formative evaluation tool in listening instruction. In conclusion, this study contributes to the growing body of research on digital learning media by highlighting the pedagogical value of Quizalize in Arabic language education. Future research is recommended to investigate its impact on other language skills and to employ experimental designs for measuring learning gains more comprehensively.
