Abstract

Developing quality education is the key to preparing Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. The study aimed to analyze the teacher compensation system using the job value method and provide recommendations for an ideal compensation system. Methods used included descriptive analysis, point system method, job grading, salary mapping, and adjustments using adhered and overlapping methods. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the Principal and Head of Human Resources, and questionnaires to gather information on teachers' salaries, compensation factors, and job weightings. Secondary data came from relevant literature, official websites, books, articles, theses, and journals. The results showed that 66.67 percent of teachers at XYZ School receive salaries below the Bogor Regency Minimum Wage. The established compensation factors include education, work experience, communication skills, conceptual thinking, initiative, physical effort, independence of action, complexity, decision making, and impact. The recommended compensation system is the overlapping method with a total cost of Rp191,081,538.00, which is more efficient than the adhered method. Implementing this ideal compensation system is expected to improve the welfare and performance of teachers at XYZ School.

Abstract

This research aims to describe preventive strategies and solutions to the spread of cults  or misleading  religious sects  in common universities  (non-religion based universities). Bogor Agricultural university  (IPB) as one of the non-religion,  was selected  as the location of the research. Case study technique was used since the research was qualitative  in nature. The data were collected using interviews,   document  analysis,  and  participatory  observation. The results of the research showed that the preventive strategies over the spread of cults or misleading religious sects in IPB were generally performed through  : (1) formal academic activities  in lectures and tutorials of Islamic religion subject; (2) stadium general;  (3)  weekly  religious  studies  within  campus  mosques; (4)  religious development  within IPB dormitories  for first year students; (5) Tarbawi Forum at Al-Hurriyyah (MTA); (6) religious seminars.

Abstract

This study analyses the factors that influence the increase in the corporate value of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach using the Publish or Perish application in the 2019-2024 period. The search results show that macroeconomic variables, Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices, government and public ownership, investment decisions, capital structure, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure, company growth, profitability, business risk, and financial risk are the main factors that have an impact on increasing the value of BUMN companies. These variables influence aspects of stability, transparency, asset management and corporate sustainability, all of which play an important role in attracting investor interest and supporting the long-term performance of SOEs. This study concludes that enhancing the enterprise value of SOEs requires comprehensive management of these factors to achieve sustainability and optimal growth in enterprise value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership on employee performance, with employee loyalty as a mediating variable, at Koperasi Jasa Syariah Khairu Ummah. Based on data analysis and structural model testing, several key findings were identified. First, servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, indicating that a leadership style prioritizing employee needs, support, and empathy enhances emotional attachment and commitment to the organization. Second, employee loyalty positively and significantly influences employee performance, suggesting that loyal employees are more motivated and likely to perform better. Third, servant leadership does not directly affect employee performance, implying the presence of a mediating variable. Finally, employee loyalty is proven to mediate the relationship between servant leadership and employee performance, meaning that effective implementation of servant leadership increases loyalty, which in turn improves performance. Overall, the findings emphasize the crucial role of servant leadership in fostering employee loyalty as a foundation for enhancing performance, especially in value-based, sharia-oriented organizations.

Abstract

West Java Province, with the largest population in Indonesia, and Sukabumi Regency, which boasts the widest area and a substantial population, also exhibit a significant proportion of young children. The 2025-2045 National Long-Term Development Plan highlighted the pivotal role of quality education as a cornerstone of national development. The Indonesian education system, as stipulated in Law No. 20 of 2003, encompasses formal, non-formal, and informal pathways. Early childhood education is a key focus, given the substantial presence of this demographic. Child reading and learning interest guidance, known as bimba, represents non-formal education for young children. Bimba Baca Sukabumi located in Sukabumi Regency, employs diverse learning methods designed to provide targeted stimulation for early childhood development and support the Indonesia Emas 2045. Enhancing Bimba Baca Sukabumi's brand awareness is crucial for contributing to the achievement of Indonesia Emas 2045. Social media, digital content, and perception management are effective tools for disseminating information and building brand awareness. This research was conducted at Bimba Baca Sukabumi. The study utilized purposive sampling, selecting respondents based on criteria representative of the variables. Kotler's Marketing Theory and Kelley's Attribution Theory served as the theoretical foundation for variable determination. The independent variables examined included public perception, social media usage, and content type, while brand awareness was the dependent variable. The research employed the SEM-PLS analysis method to analyze the influence of public perception, social media, and digital content on public brand awareness of Bimba Baca Sukabumi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), human resource (HR) competence, and digital infrastructure in supporting the performance of Digital Governance in Indonesia. The results indicate that HR competence and digital infrastructure have a significant direct influence on Digital Governance performance, with HR competence being the most dominant factor. Meanwhile, AI implementation does not have a significant direct effect but exerts an indirect impact through the mediation of HR competence and digital infrastructure. These findings emphasize the importance of a systemic approach to improving Digital Governance performance by optimizing AI utilization supported by competent human resources and reliable infrastructure. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to supporting digital transformation in the public sector and provides a basis for evidence-based policy formulation toward more effective, efficient, and sustainable governance.

Abstract

Evaluating public service quality is fundamental in measuring the performance of government institutions, particularly in sectors regulated by law. One of the most vital infrastructure services is the provision and management of clean water by regional water utilities. This study focuses on Perumda Air Minum Tirta Pakuan in Bogor City, a benchmark utility expected to exemplify innovation and high-quality service delivery. The research investigates the influence of innovation and customer relationship management (CRM) on service quality and formulates strategic recommendations. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining descriptive statistics, Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), and SWOT analysis. The study involved 140 customer respondents and five experts. Findings confirm that innovation and CRM have a positive and significant effect on service quality, with CRM also positively influencing innovation. Based on these insights, a growth and development strategy is recommended to strengthen Tirta Pakuan’s service excellence.

Abstract

As a research institution, the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) plays a crucial role in driving innovation and leveraging knowledge to improve people's welfare and the nation's competitiveness. This study analyzes the impact of knowledge management on the performance of science and technology correctional-based organizations at LIPI. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge management, including knowledge management infrastructure and processes, and organizational performance. The sample used in this study were employees responsible for the dissemination of science and technology in five service work units at LIPI, with a total of 115 respondents. The analytical method utilized in this study is a quantitative method using SEM PLS. The results of this study demonstrates that: (1) There is a significantly positive relationship between knowledge management infrastructure and knowledge management process; (2) There is a significantly positive effect in the relationship between knowledge management infrastructure and organizational performance; (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between knowledge management process and organizational performance; and (4) The knowledge management process mediates the relationship between knowledge management infrastructure and organizational performance. The results indicated that the science and technology correctional service-based work unit at LIPI have implemented knowledge management practices well in terms of infrastructure and processes. Abstract

Background: Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera Ltd is one of the SMEs located in Banjarnegara Regency which is engaged in the food and beverage (fnb) sector. PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera has not paid wages in accordance with the applicable minimum wage and has not applied the principle of internal justicePurpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the compensation system implemented by the company, analyze the basic factors in determining the compensation system, and provide recommendations for the ideal compensation design system. Design/methodology/approach: The methods of this research are descriptive analysis, point method, job grading, salary mapping, and adjustments. Findings/Result: Based on the research results, it is known that the ideal compensation system to be implemented by companies is an overlapping compensation system.Conclusion: The ideal compensation system to be implemented by companies is an overlapping compensation system.Originality/value (State of the art): The use of ten compensation factors at PT Banjarnegara Agro Mandiri Sejahtera is based on the company's needs. Abstract

This study analyzes Islamic perspective in the ritual Sedekah Bumi (earth’s alms) at Dusun Cisampih, Kutabima village in Cimanggu district, at Cilacap Central Java. The method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the facts on the culture of this ritual. The finding shows that Sedekah Bumi is an ethnic ritual to show the people’s high regard to the earth as a place to live in. People depend on earth as it is a place where they do farming, get food and water, and do other activities. For this reason, they feel that there should be any ceremony that shows their gratitude to the earth. Besides that, such ritual also reflects thankfulness for people’s welfare and fortune and it is also believed to bring abundant crops. In Islamic perspective, this ritual accords to some Islamic principles, although some ideas are also contradicted. Penelitian ini mengkaji perspektif Islam terhadap pelaksanaan sedekah bumi di Dusun Cisampih Desa Kutabima Kecamatan Cimanggu, Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan fakta-fakta tentang budaya perayaan sedekah bumi. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa sedekah bumi menjadi perayaan adat sebagai wujud rasa syukur masyarakat Dusun Cisampih kepada Pencipta bumi karena mereka tinggal di bumi dengan anugerah-Nya. Mereka sangat bergantung kepada bumi untuk bercocok tanam, mendapatkan makanan dan minuman, serta melakukan aktifitas lainnya. Karena itu mereka merasa perlu melakukan sedekah bumi sebagai bentuk rasa terima kasih mereka kepada bumi. Selain itu, sedekah bumi juga sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas keselamatan dan rezeki yang diterima masyarakat dan diyakini dapat mendatangkan keselamatan bagi sawah dan ladang mereka agar hasilnya melimpah. Dalam perspektif Islam, pelaksanaan upacara sedekah bumi ini ada yang bertentangan.
