Abstract

Performance is the result or the overall success rate of a person during a certain period in performing the task. As a form of government efforts to solve the problems of transport in the city of Padang, Padang Trans supposed to have a standard of service quality and performance management systems. The design of the performance management system in Trans UPT Padang use the help of four perspectives of the balanced scorecard. By way of formulating the strategic objectives and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and then look for connection between them and perform weighting to determine the ranking and the weight of each KPI. KPI weighting using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Results of weighting and weighting the ranking shows KPI's performance Trans UPT Padang. These results are then used as the source of the design of performance management applications. Performance management system application design and development of system models using waterfall method. From system design uses four perspectives of the balanced scorecard produces 9 strategic objectives derived from the vision, mission and objectives of the company. Then obtained 13 (thirteen) KPI from questionnaires and interviews were subsequently obtained the weight of each KPI weighting of the results of the questionnaire pairwise comparisons.

Abstract

PT. Astra Komponen Indonesia (ASKI) adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang plastic injection, yang memiliki tujuan untuk menjadi perusahaan terdepan dalam bidang suku cadang plastic part kendaraan bermotor. Saat ini perusahaan sedang dalam tahap pencapaian zero variance. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap operator transaksi di gudang bagian plastic injection yang merupakan bagian produksi yang bertugas untuk menjalankan proses pengolahan bahan baku menjadi barang setengah jadi. Dengan merekapitulasi hasil check sheet serta menggunakan value stream mapping, didapatkan waktu total transaksi yang bernilai tambah adalah sebesar 60 detik/transaksi sementara untuk total waktu yang tidak memiliki nilai tambah adalah sebesar 586 detik/transaksi , maka total waktu keseluruhan transaksi pada kondisi saat ini adalah sebesar 646 detik/siklus atau 10 menit. Waktu standar yang diperlukan untuk melakukan transaksi setelah diberikan kelonggaran adalah 1 menit 33 detik. .  Setelah dilakukannya perancangan data base berdasarkan produksi yang terdapat pada mesin A yaitu mesin yang memiliki aktivitas terbesar serta memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap produksi di ASKI, kemudian ditentukan output yang akan dibaca oleh barcode scanner. Barcode dibuat dengan menggunakan Software Poslabel 7.12. Dengan menerapkan sistem barcode tingkat deviasi barang lolos dapat ditanggulangi dan juga mencegah lamanya waktu kerja pada transaksi.

Abstract

Risk management is a process of knowing, analyzing, and controlling risks of every activity in product and, service sectors. The aims are the process runs effectively and efficiently. One of the ISO studies on risk management has been guided in ISO 31000. This ISO provides a standard framework with the title "Risk Management-Principles and Guidelines on Implementation". Based on the sources in the Ministry of Health in 2016, there are 2,488 hospitals spread throughout Indonesia. However, only 10.29% of hospitals have ability to control the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) properly. The purposes of this research are determining risk priority of Wastewater Treatment Installation and prioritizing risk evaluation of WWTP at Ibnu Sina hospital, Padang. In this research, fuzzy AHP method was used. The questionnaire was validated by environmental department which monitors hospitals’ waste. After ranking the priority risk, Risk Breakdown Structure method was then being used to evaluate the risk that has potentiallty in waste water processing.The result from the fuzzy AHP are five risks, the main priority risk is the pipe with sub risk of liquid waste stuck with value of 0,0779.  The second risk is septictank with excess nitrification sub risk with value of 0,0713. The third risk is the sampit with subcritical liquid waste spilled with value of 0,0642. The fourth risk is the lack quality of human resources with the weight value of 0,0590 and the fifth risk is the blower with the condition is not feasible to use with the weight value of 0,0548.

Abstract

Risk is a possibility of the occurrence that may affect the achievement of objectives. Risk can give positive or negative effect. One of the jobs that have a high risk is firefighter job. Furthermore, a firefighter who are disciplined, responsible, and good in team work, they must be given a reward for their motivation. Therefore, the compensation that they get is equal with the potential risk and working achievement. The compensation of the risk and achievement is included in the extra payment of dangerous work (hazard pay) and bonus based on working achievement of an employee (merit pay). Comparing to the old system, the compensation system will increase the firefighters' income from Rp 900.000 to Rp 1.297.280 every month. The addition will also increase the budget of Damkar from Rp 550.800.000 to Rp 793.935.156 every year.

Abstract

Web-based management information system of transaction data with mobile features was needed by employees of PT. Yasiga Sarana Utama, especially mine division. The problems that frequently occur are some documents are created with the manual method, data storage is conducted using Microsoft Excel and duplication. Damage and loss of data have been solved with Web-based management information system of transaction data. In addition, the field employees who have activities outside of the Office get ease in storing and archiving the data using a mobile application integrated with transaction data management information systems. Management information system of transaction data was built using the waterfall method which consisted of the analysis, design, coding or implementing, and testing. In the early stages of development, the company business processes were studied through literatures, and then the company requirements were analyzed using use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, state chart diagrams, and user interface design. The next phase was the design of the system by designing a database using the ER-diagrams. Programming code on the implementation phase was conducted using PHP PDO with object-oriented programming, Bootstrap PostgreSQL database as an additional aesthetic applications, and PhoneGap to generate mobile applications. Application testing was conducted using black box testing. The results of the implementation showed the expected output and in accordance with existing business processes.Keywords—Management Information System of Transaction Data, PT. Abstract

It is the time for road infrastructure management system to switch the perspective of life plan-based management to another approach which is more efficient in terms of budgeting and can optimize road performance. The use of performance indicators has been recommended for this. This study aims to formulate the performance indicators for Performance Based Contracting (PBC) method widely used now now. These performance indicators are formulated for West Sumatera Province, designated as disaster zones. The integration of the three qualitative methods, namely the Delphi method, AHP and method of Natural Cut-off Point has succeeded in formulating indicators. Delphi method is used to identify indicators, while the AHP is used to prioritize the indicators and the last, the method of Natural Cut-off Point is used to select the critical indicators. A total of six critical indicators are identified, namely damage at the end of pavement, drainage, culverts, Potholes, width of pavement and cracking.Keywords: Indicators, road performance, critical, disaster and coastal area.

Abstract

Most of the furniture industries / SMEs in West Sumatra still use the traditional cost system in calculating the cost of goods manufactured. In addition, furniture SMEs in West Sumatra still use technology to make it easier to process data. In addition, in other studies it was found that in Indonesia the use of information technology by SMEs is still low compared to large companies. Even though the use of information technology can increase the competitiveness of SMEs. Many things have caused the low use of information technology by SMEs. One of them is the lack of knowledge of the potential of information technology to advance business. Therefore, the importance of using information technology to increase the competitiveness of SMEs, and the need to use the ABC method in calculating the cost of production, the Department of Industrial Engineering, Andalas University provides assistance, training, and coaching to furniture SMEs in West Sumatra. With this activity it will make it easier for SMEs to manage direct raw material costs, direct labor costs, overhead costs and calculate activity-based cost of production as well as make it easier for SMEs to produce activity-based cost of production reports using computer-assisted software, so that SME furniture competitiveness is created. higher level to be able to win the competition and create a better pattern of university partnerships.

Abstract

Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter in choosing products, including food products. Food safety is an important thing that must be considered by the food industry. Unsafe food production can only be done because of food, product needs, lengthy legal process, but can also damage the community. Customer needs demand certainty from the food provided in a way that meets food safety standards, from the garden to the table. To fulfill this reason, all parties involved in the food production process must know and understand well matters related to food procurement standards for the products produced. Rendang is one of the traditional foods of West Sumatra that has begun worldwide. This requires the need to produce rendang with food safety standards is very important. Based on this, within the framework of the Community Service Department of Industrial Engineering UNAND conducts training / technical guidance related to the rendang food procurement standards with training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This activity was expected to help Small and Medium Enterprises to get business standardization.

Abstract

The polemic of unemployed women is getting worse because in choosing a job, women often think about work that does not interfere with their routine as housewives. In addition, there is also a labor market that does not accept female workers, either single or married, for reasons that are sometimes illogical. Even though the abilities and skills of women are no less good and there are no differences with men. This is also a major factor why many women are unemployed. As a result, it becomes a factor of poverty. Given the importance of this problem, it is necessary to implement ways to overcome them, especially in reducing the number unemployment. The solution to this problem is quite easy, as long as it is given a job, the unemployment problem will be resolved. However, in practice it is not that easy. To open new jobs requires substantial funds, in addition to funds, it is necessary to provide entrepreneurship training for the unemployed so that the unemployed have skills capital in the world of work to be involved. As a scientific discipline, entrepreneurship can be studied and taught, so that every individual has the opportunity to appear as an entrepreneur (entrepreneur). Even to be a successful entrepreneur, having talent is not enough, you also need to have knowledge of all aspects of the business that you will be engaged in. The tasks of entrepreneurship are very many, including the task of making decisions, technical leadership, and leadership, therefore facilities and infrastructure are needed, one of which is education.

Abstract

Perusahaan kecil menengah lebih dominan menggunakan peranan manusia dalam sistem produksinya. Kegiatan produksi harus dibarengi dengan keseimbangan antara hak dan kebutuhan pekerja itu sendiri agar manusia dapat bekerja secara optimal tanpa adanya pengaruh buruk dari pekerjaannya. CV. Rangga Beton memproduksi panel beton precast, box culvert dan Paving Block. Tenaga kerja masih dominan dalam pembuatan Paving Block mulai dari mempersiapkan material hingga proses pemindahan ke tempat penjemuran. Kegiatan yang dilakukan MMH (Manual Material Handling), beban yang diangkat berat, dan dilakukan dengan posisi membungkuk. Identifikasi awal dengan menggunakan kuisioner NBM terhadap 6 orang pekerja, sebanyak 75% merasakan sakit pada punggung, lengan, pinggang dan 25% merasakan sakit pada bagian lengan. Proses identifikasi terhadap permasalahan yang terjadi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode PATH (Posture, Activity, Tools and Handling) dimana dapat dilakukannya analisa terhadap posture, aktivitas, penggunaan alat serta penangganan yang perlu dilakukan. Berdasarkan penilaian dengan menggunakan PATH frekuensi aktivitas kerja untuk 4 kegiatan diperoleh 24,69 % kegiatan pemindahan ke penjemuran, 24,86 % kegiatan pengumpulan pasir+mixing, 22,51 kegiatan pemindahan hasil cetakan ke gerobak dan 27,94 % untuk kegiatan pemindahan ke mesin pencetak. Selanjutnya dilakukan usulan perbaikan yang harus dilakukan terhadap frekuensi aktivitas kerja yang paling terbesar. Sehingga perbaikan yang dilakukan dengan mengusulkan penambahan item atau modifikasi pada mesin pencetak Paving Block. Kata kunci: MMH (Manual Material Handling), PATH (Posture, Activity, Tools and Handling), NBM
