Scheduling is an important area of production planning and control. Scheduling is required to produce an existing job by allocating existing resources in the proper execution order. Production schedules arranged effectively and efficiently to maximize resources utility, minimize waiting and idle time and increase productivity. The flowshop batch scheduling model for one machine that takes inventory and quality cost into account has been developed by Indrapriyatna et al (2007a). However, the model yet effective in converting the results of batch size into integers. This study tried to resolve this problem by using a modification of Branch and Bound Algorithm approach.

Inventory is one of many factors of the business operation that need to be controlled by industries in order to improve efficiency, enhance productivity, and decrease the holding cost. The holding cost of inventories in supply chain contribute to 20% - 40% of the product value. It can be controlled by applying appropriate inventory model, such as EPQ/Economic Production Quantity and EOQ/Economic Order Quantity. EPQ is an inventory model that used to determine the optimum production lot size with balanced the production setup cost and holding cost. Even the classic EPQ has applied widely in industries, the assumption used by this model differed between the researchers whether it is continuous or discrete demand, because the multi delivery or discrete demand is mostly used by industries. Even so, there are industries that used both continuous and discrete demand simultaneously. Based on previous research, there was an advanced EPQ model that synchronizing both assumptions simultaneously, but it still addressed single item problem. Since almost the industries produced multi item, this model has lack of applicability. Therefore, this research proposed a multi item EPQ Model that synchronizing continuous and discrete demand simultaneously. The solution procedure that used in this proposed model are classical calculus method/differential calculus and simultaneous approach. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach based on the data from the literature.

Revolution of industry 4.0 initiated by the German government, starting from the development of individual innovation behavior especially in the fields of robotics, digital technology, and information, has caused distortions to the future skills requirements. Some of the skills needed a lot in the past are now starting to experience a shift towards less needed. Some are even unnecessary because they are replaced by automation and robots. The emergence of several new skills (skills 4.0) that are more dominant is needed to make every interested party to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. Students are one of the interested parties who will face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0 after they graduates from the formal higher education. This study determines the readiness of students in facing the revolution of industry 4.0, influenced by the mastery of skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior with their innovation behavior as a mediating variable. Respondents in this study are 233 undergraduate students of the Andalas University. Using a cluster sampling technique, the data is collected using Likert scale based- questionnaire after which calculations are then performed using the Smart-PLS Program software 3.2.8. The results show that skills 4.0 and individual innovation behavior have a positive effect on students' readiness in facing the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0. It implies that the students need to improve their mastery of skills 4.0 in order to prepare themselves to face the challenges of the revolution of industry 4.0.

In the face of the Revolution industry 4.0, global connection, artificial intelligence, and automation have disrupted technology. This made the industrial world's development in work competition, not linear and even created new jobs. Digital talent and innovation are needed to face the world of work. This study discusses the construct effect between digital talent, individual innovation behavior, and Skills Revolution Industry 4.0, and the effect of Skills Revolution Industry 4.0) as a mediator to digital talent constructs' relationship. Data collection is obtained directly (face to face). Samples were previously clustered by sampling technique. Questionnaires use the Likert Scale. Then, the data gotten were processed by SEM-PLS with Software 3.8.2. The result showed that digital talent has a positive effect on individual innovation behavior. This meant that skill of revolution industry 4.0 as a construct mediator was successful. The stronger digital talent influences, the stronger individual innovation behavior influences, and it is accelerated with revolution industry skills 4. This study proposes a model to build mastery of digital talent and individual innovation behavior of Universitas Andalas students through the mastery of skills of revolution 4.0 as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve students' readiness in facing the world of revolution 4.0, one of which is in the field of digital innovation.

Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter in choosing products, including food products. Food safety is an important thing that must be considered by the food industry. Unsafe food production can only be done because of food, product needs, lengthy legal process, but can also damage the community. Customer needs demand certainty from the food provided in a way that meets food safety standards, from the garden to the table. To fulfill this reason, all parties involved in the food production process must know and understand well matters related to food procurement standards for the products produced. Rendang is one of the traditional foods of West Sumatra that has begun worldwide. This requires the need to produce rendang with food safety standards is very important. Based on this, within the framework of the Community Service Department of Industrial Engineering UNAND conducts training / technical guidance related to the rendang food procurement standards with training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This activity was expected to help Small and Medium Enterprises to get business standardization.

One of the factors to increase the competitiveness is the price of product. One of the factors that affect the product price is inventory cost. Shortages inventory can result in the cessation of the production process so that inventory is one of crucial issue in the company's operation while overstock had an effect on high costs. This research aimed to obtain integrated inventory model between products and packaging materials to minimize the total cost of inventory at PT Indomex Dwijaya Lestari considering safety stock. Data used in this research are the major and minor setup cost, production cost (one cardboard products) , sales data of mineral water for cup and bottle products from January 2011-April 2013 , data of production bottle mineral water for cup and bottle products from January 2011-April 2013, and the price of packaging materials . Then, data is processed to obtain the minimum inventory cost by using a phased approach and the simultaneous approach (using the software LINGO 11.0) for inventory model that considers safety stock and inventory model without considering the safety stock.Results of this research obtained an integrated inventory model between products and packaging materials that considering safety stock and without considering safety stock in PT Indomex Dwijaya Lestari. Based on the calculation, the result is valid. The proposed inventory costs are cheaper than the company's current inventory costs. The cost of the company's current inventory is Rp. 15.020.370,09 considering safety stock per month . Inventory costs in the company without considering safety stock is Rp 13.651.301,74 per month. The cost of inventory using gradual approach is Rp. 4.328.441,38 per month considering safety stock and Rp. 2.745.085,15 per month without considering safety stock. The cost of inventory using the simultaneous approach is Rp. 3.543.637,00 per month considering safety stock and Rp. 3.543.637,00 per month without considering safety stock.

PT. Labtech Penta International adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak memproduksi alat peraga pendidikan, salah satunya adalah game simulasi yang berbentuk konten digital. Untuk membentuk produk tersebut sering terjadinya kendala yaitu kurangnya literasi antara programmer dengan konsultan atau Subject Matter Expert (SME) serta kesalahan koordinasi dalam memberi atau menerima konsep dari konten digital yang dilakukan oleh pihak yang berkaitan. Untuk mengatasi kendala di atas maka perlu dilakukan analisa yang bertujuan untuk membuat sistem yang membantu melakukan literasi pada pihak terkait, metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hasil analisa dengan menggunakan metode di atas diimplementasikan ke dalam sebuah aplikasi web dengan menggunakan framework laravel dan Reactjs sistem literasi yang dapat membantu melakukan literasi pada manajemen proyek untuk membuat produk konten digital dalam bentuk game simulasi.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan pada salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) di Kota Batam yaitu PT.XYZ, khususnya pada unit usaha pergudangannya yang mengalami tren penurunan permintaan melalui pendekatan integrasi metode Servqual dan Kano. Data diperoleh dari konsumen tetap PT. XYZ, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran dan analisis terhadap atribut dimensi Servqual dan kategori model Kano. Hasil penelitian ini adalah semua atribut pelayanan memiliki gap skor negatif pada analisa Metode Servqual sehingga termasuk kategori kualitas pelayanan yang lemah dan perlu untuk ditingkatkan. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisa model Kano pada semua atribut yang memiliki gap skor negatif dimana hasilnya hanya muncul 2 (dua) kategori yaitu Must Be dan One Dimensional. Berdasarkan evaluation rule model Kano, atribut yang termasuk kategori Must Be perlu diprioritaskan untuk ditingkatkan karena kategori tersebut sudah semestinya dipenuhi perusahaan. Adapun kelima atribut tersebut yaitu, perusahaan memiliki peralatan dan teknologi terbaru (modern), material dan fasilitas fisik lain yang terkait layanan perusahaan tampak menarik, karyawan perusahaan memberitahu pelanggan kapan pastinya layanan akan disampaikan, karyawan perusahaan selalu bersedia membantu para pelanggan dan perusahaan selalu memperhatikan kepentingan pelanggannya

Fakultas Teknik Universitas Ibnu Sina bergerak dibidang pendidikan yang menyediakan berupa layanan mahasiswa, namun berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa masih merasa belum puas terhadap layanan yang disediakan oleh Fakultas Teknik Univeristas Ibnu Sina seperti fasilitas layanan belum lengkap, lambat respon terhadap keluahan, toilet kurang bersih, ruangan perkuliahan belum rapi, wifi kurang lancar, oleh karena itu diperlukan strategi perbaikan layanan yang dapat memenuhi keinginan mahasiswa. Untuk mencapai semua itu diperlukan metode strategi perbaikan layanan ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode SWOT dan QSPM, berdasarkan dari hasil perumusan strategi dengan menggunakan matriks IFAS EFAS maka terdapat 10 usulan Strategy perbaikan layanan sedangkan hasil perhitungan matriks QSPM peningkatan akreditasi prodi dan institusi dengan nilai Atractive Score (AS) 124 Total Atractive Score (TAS) 6,29 sedangkan prioritas yang kedua adalah melakukan pelatihan rutin kepada SDM layanan dengan total nilai Atractive Score (AS) 114 Total Atractive Score (TAS) 5,994

Pengenalan teknologi baru harus dilakukan dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar dan pelatihan agar peserta didik mampu menjadi kader yang siap dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia di era teknologi. Kualitas proses pembelajaran akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung kualitas hasil belajar peserta pelatihan adalah ketersediaan media pembelajaran. Dalam proses pelatihan terjadi proses interaksi, menunjukkan merupakan proses komunikasi. Komunikasi terjadi antara penyampai pesan dengan penerima pesan lebih mudah menggunakan media pembelajaran sebagai miniatur atau replika dari benda aslinya yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan trainer simulator yang sangat penting dan mempengaruhi penyerapan informasi dalam pembelajaran dan pelatihan. Rancang bangun Trainer Simulator Air conditional ini bertujuan melihat proses rancang bangun, keefektifan praktikalitas serta kemudahan peserta training dalam memahami pelatihan Air conditional dengan menggunakan trainer simulator Air Conditional sebagai alat bantu pelatihan. Hasil rancang bangun trainer simulator , didapatkan satu unit trainer simulator Air Conditional ,yang dapat membuktikan tingkat efektifitas berdasarkan kerja refrigerant pada tekanan 60-70 PSI dengan hasil Coefficient of performance 4,4 – 4.6 dengan penggunaan arus yang nominal (3,3 Ampere), dari segi penggunaan trainer simulator kepada instruktur dan peserta pelatihan, tingkat praktikalitas didapat adalah 80% oleh instruktur 90 % oleh peserta pelatihan. Simpulan Rancang bangun Trainer Simulator Air conditional dapat melihat proses rancang bangun ,keefektifan dan kemudahan peserta training dan lebih memahami pelatihan dengan menggunakan trainer simulator Air Conditional .
