Abstract

The purpose of this development is to produce an E-module based on Contextual Teaching and Learning in Geometry Transformation material that is valid and practical so that it can be used as one of the mathematics learning resources, especially the material of transformation geometry. The type of research used is research and development (R D). The model used is the Plomp development model. The stages used in this development model only phase 1 to phase 4, namely the initial investigation phase (preliminary investigation), the design phase (design), the realization/construction phase (realization/construction), the evaluation and revision phase (evaluation and revision). The types of questionnaires used were 2 types, namely an expert validation questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. Based on the results of expert validation the results of the material and the language expert validation percentage were 83.08% (very feasible category), design experts 86.11% (very feasible category) so that the overall material and language validation results and design were 84.56 % (very decent category). The results of the small group trials obtained from the student questionnaire responses to the mathematics E-Module were 88.6% (very practical category). Based on the results of the validity/feasibility and practical group test, it can be concluded that the E-Module mathematics based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the transformation geometry material assisted by Flipbook Maker is very feasible and very practical to be used as one of the sources of mathematics learning, especially on geometry material transformation. Keywords: Development, E-Module, Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Transformation GeometryDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v9i1.pp1-11

Abstract

This study aims to find out the validity and practicality of Student 0 Worksheets (LKPD) Charged With High Order Thingking Skill (HOTS) In Class VIII Flat Side Room Building Materials. This type of research is a development research using addie development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 9 Metro. The data collection instruments used were expert validation questionnaires to 9 validators and practicality test questionnaires to 10 students. The data obtained is then analyzed using validity analysis and product practicality analysis. The result of the development of this study is a Worksheet of Learners Charged With Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) On Class VIII Flat Side Room Building Materials. This LKPD is equipped with HOTS-based questions. Validation results by material experts obtained a percentage of 85.09%, media experts obtained a percentage of 88.40% and linguists obtained a percentage of 86% and all three fall into the category of highly valid. Practicality assessment using student response questionnaires fall into the eligible category. Abstract

The purpose of the development of this mathematics module is to produce products in the form of mathematical modules based on Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) material that is valid and practical. The type of research that is used is research and development (RD). The model that is used is the RD model developed by Sugiyono who has been modified. The stages which are used in this development research only stage 1 through 7. The instruments which are used were expert validation questionnaire and questionnaire response of students. Based on the results of expert validation obtained the results of the validation of material expert 78,84% (decent categories), linguists expert 85% (category of very feasible) and design expert 83,6% (a very feasible category), so that the overall percentage of the validator obtained a total percentage of 82,48% (very feasible category). The results of the small group trial were obtained from the response of students of the mathematics module was 84% (a very practical category). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the SSCS-based mathematics module material for students’ questions in SMA Negeri 1 Metro is very feasible and very practical to be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially circle material.Keyword:  circle; modules; SSCS models DOI:  http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/mtk/v8i2.pp261-272   Alternative Link - PDF
