Abstract

This research determines tourist profile in tourist attraction of Gazebo in the Kemetul village tourism in Semarang. This research discusses socio-demographics condition, psyco-graphics condition, tourist expectation, and geography in Kemetul Village. This research conducted with the quantitative descriptive method using a survey. The survey conducted to 126 tourists as the existing market. The survey result shows that most of the visitors of Gazebo Kemetul Village are students with age between 15-25 years old, and dominated with visitors who came from Semarang City. The result shows that 40% of visitors like artificial tourist attraction, 58% tourist like solo travelling. Research also found that most of the visitors are hoping the regional government or the manager of the Kemetul village will able to add a playground and local culinary corner at Gazebo Kemetul Village.

Abstract

Benchmarks of the success of a tourist attraction can be seen from the involvement of the community. Community based tourism is a form of tourism development that aims to empower people in independence and decision making. This study aims to determine and analyze the involvement of local communities in the development of tourism in the Palawa’ Village and identify any obstacles that affect the involvement of local communities in the development of Palawa’ Village. This research was conducted for 6 months from September 2019. Researchers used data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation to the management or manager of Palawa’ Village and the community and used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that lack of community involvement in Palawa’ Village. This is because not all communities have a traditional house (Tongkonan) so they cannot be directly involved and only become spectators in every activity that is held. The internal factors that influence community involvement are the low quality of education so that limited knowledge is very influential on how to manage good tourism businesses and existing entrepreneurial management knowledge. While externally, there is a lack of cooperation between tourism managers and outsiders such as the Culture and Tourism Office, Regional Planning Agency (Bappeda), Youth Organization and Pokdarwis. Researchers provide recommendations to managers to provide counseling or training to the community so that community knowledge about tourism is higher, Involving all communities and stakeholders in the development of Palawa’ Village attractions and increasing good cooperation between managers and outsiders.

Abstract

Gua Rangko merupakan salah satu aset pariwisata di Labuan Bajo dan semenjak tahun 2010 Gua Rangko telah menerima banyak kunjungan wisatawan. Seiring adanya kunjungan wisatawan Gua Rangko telah menerima banyak intervensi dan mengalami penurunan kualitas obyek fisik. Untuk itu, perencanaan pengelolaan pengunjung sangat dibutuhkan dalam hal ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan melibatkan perhitungan daya dukung pariwisata yang dikembangkan oleh Cifuentes. Adapun teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan. Melalui penelitian ini terdapat batasan jumlah kunjungan secara fisik (PCC) untuk sightseeing sejumlah 184 orang dan aktivitas renang 61 orang per hari. Perhitungan secara riil (RCC) dengan mempertimbangkan keberagaman vegetasi, kelerengan lahan, curah hujan dan area khusus staf maka ditemukan batasan kunjungan untuk aktivitas sightseeing sejumlah 113 wisatawan dan aktivitas renang sejumlah 37 orang per hari. Adapun batasan secara efektif (ECC) dengan mempertimbangkan jumlah petugas maka kedua aktivitas wisata hanya dapat menampung 5 orang wisatawan per harinya. Angka ini mengacu pada temuan penulis terhadap pengelolaan Gua Rangko yang hanya menyediakan satu orang petugas tiket retribusi. Jumlah petugas yang terbatas ini mengakibatkan banyaknya tindakan represif wisatawan yang berujung pada patahnya stalagmit dan stalaktit gua. Penulis merekomendasikan peningkatan jumlah petugas di lapangan dan penetapan standar operasional prosedur terhadap pengelolaan pengunjung di Gua Rangko.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap fenomena paradoksal dalam industri taman hiburan Indonesia: kesenjangan antara klaim eduwisata dengan persepsi pengunjung terhadap nilai edukasi. Menggunakan Saloka Theme Park di Jawa Tengah sebagai studi kasus, riset kualitatif ini menerapkan wawancara mendalam dengan wisatawan edukasi, manajemen taman, dan guru pendamping, dilengkapi observasi lapangan terhadap praktik promosi dan pengalaman pengunjung. Temuan mengungkap pola mengkhawatirkan: meskipun sekitar 70 persen pengunjung berasal dari segmen edukasi, narasi edukatif nyaris absen dari komunikasi pemasaran. Analisis konten media sosial menunjukkan konten hiburan mendominasi di angka 65 persen, sementara konten edukasi hanya 9 persen. Analisis kesenjangan nilai mendemonstrasikan diskrepansi signifikan antara nilai yang ditawarkan dan yang dipersepsikan, dengan pengunjung menilai efektivitas promosi edukasi hanya 6 dari 10. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur pemasaran pariwisata dengan memperkenalkan konsep 'edu-washing' dan menyediakan rekomendasi praktis bagi taman hiburan Indonesia yang ingin membangun identitas eduwisata autentik.
