Abstract

The main objective of this study is to identify and formulate the strengths of character and virtue, according to Ibn Miskawaih and Imam Al-Ghazali. The study was carried out with a qualitative approach with the type of literature review, by tracing both books, especially journals related to the strength of character and virtues formulated by positive psychology. The data analysis was carried out in a descriptive-reflective-introspective way with the perspective of Islamic psychology. The results of the study show that in terms of the number and composition of the strengths of character and values of virtue developed by positive psychology and the psychology of Islamic education, which in this case is represented by the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih and Imam Al-Ghazali, are not significantly different. There is little difference between the strength of the character of positive psychology and the psychology of Islamic education. The difference is that there is a middle point or middle way in the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih and Imam Al-Ghazali. The shari'ah commands this midpoint or middle path; the goal is to achieve an intermediate path to all the qualities and qualities of virtue; if it deviates towards one of the two extremes, then it must be corrected. These findings can provide a valuable contribution to guidance and counseling services through strengthening character and virtue in the current era of global communication.

Abstract

Keramat is the name of one of the markets in Sampit City which is mostly inhabited by the middle to lower economic population. Located in a congested area and market dumping waste directly into the river that flows under people's houses along with garbage that seems scattered in the river flow makes the settlement look very shabby. The children's daily activities here have to mingle with market waste and unhealthy rivers for bathing and playing. Often littering, fighting, and not caring about the environment are the daily sights of the children here. This community service is an activity of the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) in 2020. The focus of this activity is to instil character education for children of sacred villages by using theatre arts. Theatre is also intended to accommodate the children of the Keramat Market in developing their potential. Due to the existence of Covid-19, activities that were originally planned to be offline have turned online. The media used in carrying out activities are the WhatsApp Group, Instagram, and Youtube. Through this activity, implementation manuals have been produced, a compilation of instructional videos, cinematic audios of folk tales, and scientific articles. The children of the sacred market were enthusiastic about participating in the activity and gave positive feedback.

Abstract

Bahasa Sampit merupakan salah satu bahasa daerah di Indonesia yang statusnya saat initerancam. Saat ini bahasa Sampit mulai jarang dituturkan, bahkan dikenal masyarakat danhanya digunakan sebagian generasi tua saja. Pengabdian melalui Program KreativitasMahasiswa (PKM) bertujuan untuk membantu Lembaga Adat dan Budaya Sampit dalammelestarikan bahasa Sampit melalui pembuatan kamus bahasa Sampit. Kegiatan ini melalui 3(tiga) tahapan, yaitu tahap awal, tahap inti, dan tahap akhir. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan timperumus bahasa Sampit, terjalinnya kerjasama dengan Balai Bahasa Kalimantan Tengah, danbahasa Sampit diangkat menjadi program revitalisasi bahasa.

Abstract

Character education has been a solution to resolve identity crisis for Indonesian young generation.excavation of original value from Indonesia has been a lot of tested and study.character education base local wisdom.Dayaknese Ngaju on Middle Borneo have recommendation values as character education enhancement.the study do on Pemantang village,East Kotawaringin District,Middle Borneo.the study using Qualitative Research Method,data collective:observation,interview and documentation.local wisdom embraced by the Dayaknese Ngaju on Middle Borneo is a philosophy of huma betang,habaring hurung,hatamuei lingu nalatai hapangkaja,karende malempang, the biggest love to the universe as the source of life. Internalized value process through paragon of the elders and indigenous,traditional events and enactment the Adat Law.

Abstract

Motivation is very important in students to increase interest in learning. In fact there are students who do have low motivation in learning which impacts on their learning outcomes. This study aims to improve low learning motivation at MA Nurul Ummah sampit by applying a Behavioral approach. This research is a qualitative study with a case study approach. Data collection in this study uses interview, observation and documentation. The object of this study is low learning motivation. The subject of this study was one of the XII students at MA Nurul Ummah Sampit. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. For data validity checking techniques are using source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the application of Behavioral techniques succeeded in increasing low learning motivation. The increase in motivation of students from low categories becomes a high category after carrying out individual counseling.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk membantu mengatasi rendah diri pada salah satu santriwati di SMP Darul Amin Sampit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah LR. Tempat penelitian di SMP Darul Amin Sampit. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara terstruktur.. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa data kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebelum pelaksanaan konseling individual dengan pendekatan penerapan Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk mengatasi rendah diri LR adalah 64,2% dan sesudah pelaksanaan konseling individual dengan pendekatan penerapan Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) rendah diri LR berkurang menjadi 14,2%.

Abstract

Self regulation is self-management in achieving a goal in the situation of various activities. The purpose of this study was to determine self-regulation of high achieving students. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection in this study uses the interview method and the problem checklist model. The better the level of self-regulation of individuals, the better in managing themselves to achieve predetermined goals. The results of the study showed that the self regulation of one of the outstanding students was included in the good category. This means that the student has been able to manage himself and direct his thoughts and actions to achieve goals including achievement.

Abstract

Islamic religious education and environmental education have the same goal. The purpose of Islamic religious education and character education in schools is to create students who have good relationships with God, themselves, fellow human beings, and nature. Not much Islamic religious education integrates environmental education. Adiwiyata school is an environmental culture school that integrates environmental education in learning, including PAI. This study aims to identify the integration of PAI and Character with environmental education in Adiwiyata schools. The research locus is SMP Negeri 1 Sampit. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and case studies.

Abstract

Tanah Mas is one of the areas in Sampit that the Sampit Dayak and Madurese Muslim communities inhabit. They live side by side, peacefully exchanging culture and language. This area's uniqueness needs to be explored further so that it can become a good practice for mitigating conflicts that often occur in Indonesia. This study explores the cultural values developed, the processes of exchange and cultural literacy, and the cultural literacy methods used in Tanah Mas. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach. The research was conducted for two months. The research locus was Tanah Mas Village, Baamang Sampit District. The study results show that cultural literacy is carried out in the family, community, and leaders. Parents provide examples and advice in the family to live well together and get along with anyone regardless of ethnicity. Community leaders provide examples and advice to respect each other, help each other, and cooperate reasonably with each other. Social literacy is performed by performing arts conveying messages of peace and moral teachings. In addition, the community mingles and cooperates in various activities. Information exchange is carried out through daily activities such as community interaction, traditional events such as weddings, religious events such as the Prophet's birthday or isra' mi'rāj, and artistic activities such as art performances.
