Abstract

Subunit certification Faculty of Computer Science University of Brawijaya is a facility that is used for improving their civitas skills. From an interview with the subunit head, Tri Afirianto stated that the subunit needs a training platform for DB2 that can be used to give information and helping the candidate for certification tests with learning matters. This study is focused on developing a training platform using Moodle. Moodle or Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment is one of the free learning management systems that can be used and developed by everyone dearly (open source). In the process, this study is using the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) as its learning design model.. This study of developing a DB2 programming training platform based on moodle with SAM will be tested its properness in every cycle on the model. The testing is to measure 2 categories of perceived usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEUO) in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study will show how much the result of the product that comes out from developing method their perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The testing is done on 30 candidates which will be taking the certification. The result is the product has high ranked in category ease to use and high ranked in useful and helpful.

Abstract

Agriculture is a livelihood sector for farmers to meet economic needs. Agricultural extension is used to obtain direct education due to the weakness of farmers in technology to access information sources. However, agricultural extension has been temporarily halted due to the corona virus outbreak. This problem requires a new innovative solution in distributing agricultural education, for example by accessing reliable agricultural information sources and being able to discuss with other farmers. This study aims to design agricultural education, media by considering user experience. The design of user experience is needed as a reference in designing solutions in order to obtain results with good levels of success and satisfaction. The method in this research is the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method which involves users in all phases of HCD and is focused on user needs. Evaluation of solution design using usability testing and a system usability scale to 10 respondents. The evaluation results obtained in usability testing show the effectiveness of the complete-rate of 100%; error rate of 0% and an average time efficiency rate of 412 seconds for all tasks. On the usability scale system, the results of the satisfaction level of 78.5% are categorized as well. It can be concluded that the solution design created is successful and comfortable to use by the user.

Abstract

Geometry has sub-sections, namely three dimensions which talk about spatial shapes. Building space contains three important elements, namely length, width, and height so that it is said to be a three-dimensional shape. Three dimensional learning, must start with real objects with three dimensions, then it can be implemented through images that seem to look like two dimensional shapes. To realize three-dimensional images at this time, it can be done with the help of technology, namely mobile applications to make it easier in the abstraction process. This study aims to simplify the process of building abstraction involving user experience as a reference in designing solution designs made for high school, vocational, and MA students to assist in the learning process. The Human Centered Design method is used to place potential users in the main center of research by providing a good user experience. There are four main stages that are carried out in the development of research. The first analysis is in the form of user analysis then persona to emphaty map. The two identifications are in the form of features and user tasks. The three implementations are wireframe design, screenflow and prototype. The fourth evaluation is in the form of usability test and system usability scale test. Derived from the testing process carried out resulted in an efficiency of 0.181 and 100% effectiveness as well as 64.17 for user satisfaction which means that it is considered sufficient. Therefore, it can be concluded that the design of the solution that has been given is quite successful in solving the problem even though it has satisfaction, there are several shortcomings.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Boyolangu is a vocational high school that conducts learning at home during the COVID-19 emergency. The delivery of learning material is carried out through school e-learning media and the implementation of video conference on certain learning materials. But on implementation, students still have difficulty understanding the learning material. Therefore, this study aims to develop a COLEARN mobile learning prototype for multimedia majors in vocational high schools. The development of this prototype was carried out using the User Centered Design (UCD) method by adding a profile analysis of students' mental models. UCD involves the end user directly in its development. The analysis stage of the use context carried out the identification of the mental model profile of students as the basis for developing interactions in the prototype. From this process, it is hoped that students will be more familiar with the prototype designs that have been developed. At this stage, a persona, empathy map and a user journey map are also created to identify the user's goals and tasks. In the implementation process of the solution design, a wireframe, mockup and prototype were designed to be evaluated using the usability method and the system usability scale. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that the effectiveness level was 100% with an efficiency of 0.13 tasks per second and a user satisfaction score of 71 with a good category on the SUS assessment criteria.

Abstract

Education is one of the important aspects for everyone who can be a provision in changing the attitudes and behaviors of individuals and groups in an effort to be aware through teaching and training. Children get intellectual education in school and in tutoring institutions. Children are required to understand the material about natural sciences or social sciences. but not all can capture material with the same ability because the level of intelligence and learning ability of each child is different. there are students whose learning ability is low so slow in understanding the material. These slow learners need special treatment in order to understand the material like other students. To predict these students, it is done by classifying slow learner students and non slow learners by using naive bayes algorithm using cross validation test method of 10 folds. The data used in this study amounted to 89 data obtained from questionnaires filled out by students in grades XI and XII of SMA Tunas Luhur. The test results using cross validation with 10 folds obtained an accuracy value of 0.92857, precision of 0.94736, recall of 0.97297, and F-measure of 0.96. After that, a dashboard was created for visualization, which resulted in a 7-page user interface with test results using a System Usability Scale questionnaire that resulted in a score of 71.75 or acceptable.

Abstract

Health services are a solution for preventing health disease, improving health, and health treatment by the government and society. To meet the level of health services, there are procedures in the preparation of annual needs planning in the RKPD (Regional Government Work Plan). The problem that occurs is in the process of reporting data received from each puskesmas for handling people with ODGJ (People with Mental Disorders) because the data reporting techniques received by the government from the puskesmas still use conventional methods. In overcoming this, a monitoring and evaluation information system is needed to make it easier for each puskesmas to report health service activities so that monitoring and evaluation can be carried out by the central government of the results of each puskesmas need in order to predict the need for health services in each region. This information is built using the waterfall method with a pre-made design so that it has clear needs at the beginning of development. the results carried out on the testing unit and the valid test produce 100% valid in all test cases, while the compatibility test results in 26 valid, 2 major issues, and 1 minor issue in 9 browser versions with the SortSite tool.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is the holy book which is owned by Muslims. This book is the main reference in living life for Muslims throughout the world. In order to become a good Muslim, each person must practice the contents of the Al-Qur'an. Before being able to practice it, of course a Muslim must be able to read and understand the contents of the Al-Quran. The process of learning to read the Al-Qur'an requires a lot of time and also a teacher as a guide. Regular practice is one solution so that the learning process to read the Al-Qur'an can be completed quickly. However, the teacher as a guide cannot always be there to accompany a student in learning to read the Al-Qur'an. From these problems, the author offers a way, namely an error detection application in reading the Al-Qur'an that can be used as a student training medium without time constraints. The writer developed this application using the Jaro Winkler Distance method as a method of comparison and assessing reading errors. This application makes use of Google's Speech Recognition to convert the voice input entered by the user to the depth of Arabic text. The results of the conversion in the form of Arabic text will be compared with the original text from the Qur'an using the Jaro Winkler Distance method. At the testing stage, the authors found that this method was very incompatible with the object of the Qur'an because the results of the accuracy testing carried out were very low.
