Abstract

The project includes various types of signals alternative study and representation of a computer in digital format and out through the port as an outlet for the output of digital data to generate signals and electronic control circuit of the printer parallel LPTI prevailing used to generate signals. The aim of the research is to evaluate the usage of the computer including the advantage of its possibilities, capabilities in multiple signals processing, and control signal generation methods in many ways that are used to generate various signals at frequencies different capacities. The necessary software requires generating different types of signals, frequencies, and capacities. It is as well as the different software required for the purpose of controlling the electronic circuit. It has been relying on a programmatic method depends on the language of Visual Basic. In addition to the study of the physical system requirements, the analysis how to connect them with the computer and version control signals E-circle this study using speed of a transferring time for generator is Tc = 100nsec. The Speed of a computer which is used to treat ‘1000 MHz’, is got on the farthest frequency to get out from the circle is ‘2500 Hz’. It is used to different signals, sine, triangular or square in 30 samples. The sample numbers are tested. The result of this study shows that each of the sample number, input frequency, and sample time influence the results clearly. If the sample numbers increase, the accuracy of the waves increases. If the input frequency increases, the width of the wave losses. Keywords: Signal Generator, Computer, Visual Basic, Signals

Abstract

External plagiarism detection is a technique that refers to the comparison between suspicious document and different sources. External plagiarism models are generally preceded by candidate document retrieval and further analysis and then performed to determine the plagiarism occurring. Currently most of the external plagiarism detection is using similarity measurement approaches that are expressed by a pair of sentences or phrase considered similar. Similarity techniques approach is more easily understood using a formula which compares term or token between the two documents. In contrast to the approach of machine learning techniques which refer to the pattern matching and cannot directly comparing token or term between two documents. This paper proposes some machine learning techniques such as k-nearest neighbors (KNN), support vector machine (SVM) and artificial neural network (ANN) for external plagiarism detection and comparing the result with Cosine similarity measurement approach. This paper presented density based that normalized by frequency as the pattern. The result showed that all machine learning approach used in this experiment has better performance in term of accuracy, precision and recall.

Abstract

Soybean (Glycine mx L.) is one of the important strategic commodity in Indonesia which is cultivated widely. Soybean demand continues rise increasly demand for soy as food industry ingredients such as tofu, tempeh, soy milk soy tauco and snack. However, efforts to increase the production and development of soybean agribusiness has some constraints that may reduce production by 50% due to certain diseases. The situation is of course very detrimental to soybeans in particular and the public in general. But the farmers have very low knowledge about the technical maintenance of the soybean crop. These circumstances resulted in a high dependence of farmers on crop pest controllers are limited. To overcome these problems was made based application based mobile operating system Android. However, mobile devices have limitations in computing resources ranging from the ability of the processor to the memory capacity. To optimize computing resources on mobile devices, we need a method of knowledge representation that consists of a frame-based and rule-based representation with the rules or rule that is used to determine whether the peanut plants infected with certain diseases, in which the types of diseases that can be detected on do this thesis includes diseases of bacterial pustules, antarchnose disease, mosaic virus disease, damping, rust disease and blight. then analyzed knowledge representation which is the most optimal. This can be done by comparing the scenario some knowledge of the representation of the level of validity and cases symptoms can be resolved. Keywords: expert system, soybean disease ,android, knowledge representation

Abstract

So many publications are increasing every year and it causes an overflow of data and it makes the information function on the site cannot be delivered entirely to the visitors. As a scientific publication site, the IPI garuda portal (Index of Indonesian publications) has more than 4000 Indonesian journals in the database. Therefore it will be designed a system that can provide information and knowledge for the user. The system can also provide recommendations related articles and relevant for users. Recommendations are made by calculating similarities between related documents. The similarity calculation method used in this research was cosine similarity. The steps taken were pre-processed, weight calculation, vector length and then they were calculated using cosine similarity so that the value would be achieved that ranged from 0 to 1. Performance testing of recommendation system used precision and recall. Performance system with average precision value about 0.664 meant that the document had good system accuracy, and then the average recall point with value about 0.962 meant that documents were successfully returned by the system.

Abstract

Human needs of technology and the availability of adequate infrastructure are evidences that the technology currently becomes part of the human beings’ basic necessities. Growing multitude of journals and scientific papers makes choosing and sorting become more selective though there have been many online journals service providers and portals. Research on search engines, plagiarism and recommendation system has been carried out with various methods to improve the performance of the system itself, this paper aims to calculate similarities between one article with other articles by implementing n-gram and tanimoto cosine. The number of articles tested were forty-three titles and abstracts, tests  were carried fifty times with random selected keywords, by separating each sentences of the title and abstract into n characters (n = 2) including spaces and punctuation, then calculating similarity to the query or keywords used to test the system. Testing was done using several variation of the thresholds. After observing the fifty times-testings, the threshold value of 0.30, produced accuracy = 0.86, precision = 0.37 and recall = 0.44.

Abstract

The development of computer-based learning system today can provide a different learning process in a teaching and learning process, but the problems faced by a teacher is the difficulty in grouping discussion group that has a different value of knowledge and skills, because usually this selection of discussion groups in e-learning is done based on the wishes of each student or randomly regardless of the data of knowledge and skills. This research was conducted with the aim of grouping the discussion groups based on the indicators of knowledge and skill by using k-means clustering analysis at SMK Sore Tulungagung. The knowledge and skills scores of class X students in Pekerjaan Dasar Elektromekanik subjects, The Competence of Electricity Installation Engineering will be used as the basic scores. Then, the students of class X were divided into 2 groups, namely the k-means based group and the random based group for further research. The mean score of knowledge and skills are before the learning process and after the results of the evaluation of the discussion group on the k-means based and the random based group. The k-means based class score increases 4,083 from the average. Before the learning, it was 83.292 and it becomes 87.375 after the evaluation, while the random based class only experienced an increase 0,083 from the average. Before the learning it was 81,250 and it becomes 81,333 after the learning evaluation. Based on the result, grouping the discussion group in a fair way in e-learning on the indicators of knowledge and skills using k-means clustering method shows more visible improvement, so k-means clustering is a more optimal method.
