Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran audiovisual terhadap kemampuan menulis dongeng oleh mahasiswa semester V program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia di FKIP UMSU untuk tahun akademik 2019-2020. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan secara random sehingga terpilih kelas V A pagi sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V B pagi sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel berjumlah 46 mahasiswa yang terdiri atas 30 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan 16 orang pada kelas kontrol. Lokasi penelitian berada di program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP UMSU yang berada di jalan Mukhtar Basri No. 3 Medan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari media pembelajaran audiovisual terhadap kemampuan menulis dongeng oleh mahasiswa semester V program studi pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP UMSU tahun akademik  2019-2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, sementara instrumen yang dipakai adalah tes esai berupa menulis dongeng. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran Audiovisual, nonaudiovisual, menulis dongeng

Abstract

This study aims to produce an innovative learning model based on Microblogging Edmodo.  This research was conducted through the application of Research and Development (R&D) methods which included several stages of research, it is started from designing SCL learning models based on microblogging edmodo, validation, and trials (small and large scale). The results of the study showed that the innovation of student-centered learning models based on edmodo e-learning microblogging was feasible to be applied in the learning process. It can be seen from the validation reaches 79.16%. The feasibility of the application is also strengthened by the increasing of the average percentage from audience validation. It results of 77.33% in small-scale trials and 91.30% in large-scale trials. This percentage shows that SCL learning models based on e-learning microblogging edmodo can be applied to students

Abstract

Student Centered Learning-based learning model which was conducted online in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic in Indonesian language learning at SMP Muhammdiyah 01 Medan, namely in class VII junior high school students. This study uses a 4D development model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The subjects of this study were students of SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan class VII-A using a small class scale totaling 25 students. Obtaining data through documentation techniques, questionnaires, observation and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis. The feasibility of learning media refers to the results of media assessments by the developed learning media experts. The results of this study indicate that the powtoon learning media using a student centered learning-based learning model has met the appropriate and valid criteria for use in Indonesian online learning in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic where in this case learning activities, teacher and student interactions get a percentage of student learning completeness. The test given was 85%. Based on the results of the analysis of student learning outcomes tests, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes tests developed using Powtoon media with a student centered learning based learning model obtained complete criteria.

Abstract

Students are required to carry out learning, work, and creative activities at home in this era of the covid-19 pandemic because the virus is deemed unsafe even though there is a vaccine that has just been launched, so of course students feel bored because they are at home. To eliminate boredom, students do many things such as playing social media, looking for entertainment on television, cooking, sleeping, reading books, studying, and watching movies from various media such as youtube, television, VCD, etc. This research is associated with writing short stories. The purpose of this study was to determine the habit of watching films for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to determine the ability to write short stories for the fourth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU for the 2020-2021 academic year, to find out writing short stories through the habit of watching movies. The method used is descriptive method. The test for the habit of watching movies used an objective test (multiple choice). The number of tests is 10 items and each item consists of four alternative answers. If correct, the score gets 1 (for the correct answer choice) and a score of 0 (for the wrong answer choice). The test for the ability to write short stories uses an essay test.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of audiovisual learning media to the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Education study program at FKIP UMSU for the 2019-2020 academic year. The sample in this study was set randomly so that the chosen class V A morning as the experimental class and class V B morning as the control class. The sample consisted of 46 students consisting of 30 people in the experimental class and 16 people in the control class. The research location is in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP UMSU on Jalan Mukhtar Basri No. 3 Medan. The results in this study are that there is a significant influence of audiovisual learning media on the ability to write fairy tales by fifth semester students of the Indonesian Language Study Program FKIP UMSU in the academic year 2019-2020. The method used in this study is an experimental method, while the instrument used is an essay test in the form of writing a fairy tale.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the validity of the development of the cooperative learning model type team games tournament (TGT) based on snake and ladder game media which is carried out online on Indonesian Literature material for students of the Indonesian Language Education study program, FKIP UMSU ?, and (2) the effectiveness of model development. Cooperative learning type team games tournament (TGT) based on snake and ladder game media which was carried out online on Indonesian Literature material for students of the Indonesian Language Education study program, FKIP UMSU. This research is a type of development research with a 4D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research trial was carried out in Semester IV of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. The results of the study proved that student learning outcomes reached 100% after being given the application of the team games tournament (TGT) learning model based on the snake and ladder game media. The results of the validity test by the validator show that the use of snake and ladder game media is valid and effective in online learning.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Pengembangan Muhammadiyah (PKPM) merupakan bagian dari Pengabdian Masyarakat sebagai salah satu pilar Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi sebagaimana tercantum dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2012, tentang Pendidikan Tinggi yakni Pasal 1 Ayat 9 sebagai bagian penting sivitas akademika. Dosen Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara bersama Mahasiswa mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan alat pembelajaran edukatif bagi Guru Taman Kanak-kanak Aisyiyah di Kota Medan. Tujuan kegiatan ini agar guru-guru TK Aisyiyah di kota Medan memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan membuat alat pembelajaran edukatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana sekaligus media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme sehingga pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi siswa TK Aisyiyah menjadi unggul dan berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini adalah: (1) Ceramah Tanya jawab terkait pembekalan dasar berupa transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan pengalaman praktis tentang berbagai teknologi sederhana tentang pembuatan alat pembelajaran edukatif yang aktif, inovatif, kreatif, efektif dan menyenangkan, (2) Workshop, demonstrasi dan pemberian tugas latihan secara berkelompok membuat Alat Pembelajaran Edukatif, (3) Simulasi untuk menguji cobakan alat pembelajaran edukatif, dan (4) Diskusi untuk melakukan evaluasi dan mendapatkan umpan balik tentang proses maupun hasil kegiatan.

Abstract

Tulisan Ridwan Kamil di Instagram mengenai perasaannya yang ditinggal oleh putra sulungnya yang bernama Eril menarik perhatian peneliti untuk mendalami lebih baik tentang makna gaya bahasa pada kata pulang di status instagramnya pada 5 Juni 2022 dengan durasi waktu 4 menit 58 detik. Tulisan tersebut dinilai berbau sastra yaitu dekat pada puisi, sehingga sangat menarik untuk diteliti. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa dokumentasi dari Instagram itu sendiri yang tulisan itu memiliki 33 bait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata pulang memiliki gaya bahasa yang berarti kembali kepada pemilik manusia itu sendiri yaitu Allah Swt. Setiap yang ada di langit dan di bumi adalah kepunyaan Allah dan Allah berhak meminta agar miliknya kembali kapan saja di waktu yang Ia kehendaki termasuk Eril, anak Ridwan Kamil yang meninggal di usia muda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan makna simbolik makan nasi adap-adapan pada acara adat Melayu kabupaten Batubara-Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap model yakni reduksi data, penyajian dan verifikasi data. Adapun penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Pahang, kecamatan Palawi kabupaten Batu Bara provinsi Sumatera Utara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tradisi makan nasi adap-adapan pada acara adat Melayu kabupaten Batubara yang dilangsungkan dalam adat perkawinan terdapat simbol non verbal yang dirangkai dalam acara makan nasi adap-adapan tersebut. Selain itu, terdapat nilai filosofi hidup masyarakat Melayu. Komunikasi simbolik yang terjadi pada prosesi pernikahan adat Melayu dengan membentuk simbol maupun lambang-lambang yang ada seperti simbol duduk pengantin, hidangan, juru bicara, tata letak makanan, jenis makanan, duduk tamu, makan bersama, dan lain sebagainya. Makna dari prosesi tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam manusia sebagai insan dapat mengenal dua karakter berbeda dalam pasangan berumah tangga. Prosesi ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kedua mempelai agar menjadi keluarga yang harmonis, berperilaku baik, beragama, beradat, sopan dan santun kepada orang tua dan keluarga serta hidup sederhana, rukun, dan damai.

Abstract

Kata Kunci ; Perbandingan Kosa Kata, Malaysia dan Indonesia, Film Kartun Upin dan Ipin Abstract: Language is a tool for communicating or conveying something that comes to mind, which means conveying thoughts, ideas, concepts, or feelings. The language in the Upin and Ipin Cartoon Animation film aims to increase knowledge by emphasizing the language vocabulary contained in the Upin and Ipin Cartoon Animation film seen from the synonymy and homonymy vocabulary of Malaysian Malay and Indonesian. This research method uses descriptive method with qualitative data analysis. The data analysis techniques used were viewing, listening, recording, and taking notes (the language vocabulary contained in the Upin and Ipin Cartoon Animation film), analyzing the existing data, then drawing conclusions from a comparison of the Malay Malay and Indonesian vocabulary. The results of this study state that there are synonyms and homonyms for Malaysian Malay and Indonesian Indonesian vocabularies which are expressed in the animated cartoons Upin and Ipin on the National TV Channel.
