Abstract

Tak jarang bahwa kita menemukan selama masa pandemic ini guru-guru masih melakukan pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional yaitu memberikan tugas atau sekedar memberikan materi ajar saja sehingga bisa dipastikan siswa akan mengalami kejenuhan mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring). Salah satu manfaat penting dari video pembelajaran di masa pandemic ini adalah mampu meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar. Dimana mereka dapat mendengar, serta melihat gambar. Melalui video pembelajaran siswa dapat belajar layaknya sedang belajar tatap muka di dalam kelas. Guru-guru diharapkan dapat menciptakan video-video pembelajaran yang inovatif, kreatif, efektif dan efisien. Namun masalah yang muncul adalah 1). Kemampuan guru yang masih rendah dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran khususnya video pembelajaran. 2). Banyaknya software gratis untuk membuat video namun mereka belum tahu langkah-langkah mengaplikasikannya 3) Video pembelajaran yang ada terkesan membosankan khususnya bagi para visual kinestetik learner. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk 1). memberikan pendampingan bagi para guru dalam membuat video pembelajaran yang inovatif, kreatif, efektif dan efisien, 2). Meningkatkan profesionalisme guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran, khususnya video pembelajaran. Target capaian dari kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah publikasi pada jurnal nasional ber-ISSN/prosiding pada seminar nasional, publikasi pada metia cetak/online. Kata Kunci : Guru, Video Pembelajaran, Visual Kinesthetic Learner,

Abstract

This type of research is pre-experimental research. This research was conducted in three stages, namely pre-test, treatment and post-test. The subjects in this study were 237 students of the UMSU English Study Program. The techniques used to collect the data above include test techniques, observation, and an assessment rubric for writing news texts. The results of the study show that using the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of writing news texts for UMSU students. This is evident from the increased student learning outcomes. The research carried out obtained the following results: (1) Student learning outcomes at the pretest stage were in the low category with an average score of 57.36 and at the post test stage they were in the medium category with an average value of 75.92 (3) The results of the analysis shows that there are changes that occur in student attitudes during the learning process in accordance with the results of observations, namely the application of learning using the Project Based Learning model in news text writing skills has an influence on student learning outcomes. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning increases the skills of writing news texts for students of the UMSU English education study program.

Abstract

The world has entered a new era, namely the era of technology and communication. The development of technology and communication is happening very rapidly, technology continues to create various types of gadgets that are classified as high-technology gadgets. In general, technology (gadgets) has become an inseparable part of a person's life. Efforts are needed to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills so that they can continue to use the internet through their gadgets intelligently. However, nowadays gadgets in their use are often excessive and affect various aspects of life. This influence can be felt both by the self and by the people around the user. One of the closest environments affected by the use of gadgets is the family. This study aims to find out how the influence of gadgets on the behavior of adolescents in the family. The research is based on changes in adolescent behavior due to excessive use of gadgets. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data was obtained through a questionnaire that used gadgets excessively in Pematang Kuala Village. Data analysis was carried out from the beginning of the study to reporting. The results showed that teenagers in Pematang Kuala Village used gadgets for 5-7 hours (300-420 minutes) a day, which meant that these teenagers were already addicted to gadgets. The excessive use of gadgets hurts the behavior of adolescents in the family, including emotional instability which causes adolescents to become irritable, emotional, anxious, and even withdrawn.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Hal yang sering menjadi kendala dalam menulis adalah kurangnya penguasaan kosakata, padahal kosakata menentukan seberapa terampil seseorang dalam berbahasa. Semakin kaya kosakata yang kita miliki, maka semakin besar pula kemungkinan kita terampil berbahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui  ada  atau  tidaknya  pengaruh  penguasaan  kosakata  terhadap  kemampuan menulis  eksposisi  siswa  SMA  Muhammadiyah   1 Medan;  (2)  mengetahui  ada  atau tidaknya  pengaruh  penguasaan  tata  bahasa  Indonesia  terhadap  kemampuan  menulis eksposisi  siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah  se-Kota Medan; serta (3) mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penguasaan kosakata dan tata bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis eksposisi siswa SMA Muhammadiyah  se-Kota Medan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah se-Kota Medan dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 250 siswa. Teknik   pengambilan   sampel   menggunakan   teknik   stratified   random   sampling. Pengumpulan data kosa kata, tata bahasa, dan menulis eksposisi dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil yang di dapat ada 44 siswa (12,75%) siswa memiliki penguasaan kosa kata terhadap kemampuan menulis eksposis pada kategori tinggi, 251 siswa (72,72%) siswa berada pada kategori sedang dan 50 siswa (14.50%) siswa memiliki kemampuan rendah. Sementara untuk penguasaan tata bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi di dapat data yaitu: 59 siswa (17.10%) kategori tinggi, 219 siswa (63,48%) siswa kategori sedang dan 67 siswa (19,42%) kategori rendah.KATA KUNCI: Eksposisi; Instagram; Kosakata; Tata Bahasa INDONESIAN VOCABULARY WRITING ON INSTAGRAM USERS ON THE ABILITY TO WRITE EXPOSITION TEXT ABSTRACT: The background of this research is that the 2013 curriculum was developed by improving individual and group learning patterns while still paying attention to the development of potential especially that of each student, one of which is the ability of students to write descriptive texts. The thing that often becomes an obstacle in writing is the lack of vocabulary mastery, even though vocabulary determines how skilled a person is in language. The richer the vocabulary we have, the more likely we are to be skilled at language. This study aims to: (1) determine whether or not there is an effect of vocabulary mastery on the ability to write exposition for students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan; (2) know whether or not there is an influence of mastery of Indonesian grammar on the ability to write an exposition of the tenth-grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan City; and (3) to find out whether or not there is an effect of mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the ability to write an exposition of students of SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan. The research subjects were students of class X SMA Muhammadiyah in Medan City taking a sample of 250 students. The sampling technique used a stratified random sampling technique. Vocabulary, grammar, and writing exposition data were collected by means of an ability test. The data analysis technique used is product moment analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results obtained there are 44 students (12.75%) students have mastery of vocabulary on the ability to write exposure in the high category, 251 students (72.72%) students in the medium category and 50 students (14.50%) students have the ability low. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfoku pada masalah guru yang masih kurang inovatif dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran, sehingga siswa merasa bosan dan kurang tertarik dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menguji model Mind Mapping berbasis Outdoor Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis puisi siswa di kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Medan. Metode penelitian adalah PTK.  PTK memiliki tiga ciri pokok yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) Mind mapping, (2) Kolaboratif, (3) Reflektif. RPP guru menjelaskan materi mengenai unsur-unsur dari puisi berupa tema, tipografi, rima, majas, nada, rasa dan amanat. Penerapan metode mind mapping berbasis outdoor learning dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran menulis puisi. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran siswa dapat dilihat pada nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa di dalam kelas. Pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 70, dan siklus 2 nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,32 dengan persentase keberhasilan pada siklus I sebesar 65% sedangkan siklus 2 meningkat hingga 100%. Peningkatan tersebut tidak terlepas dari kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran dengan memahami tingkat kecerdasan siswa, memberikan motivasi, merumuskan tujuan belajar, melaksanakan aktiviti pengajaran, melaksanakan penilaian, dan melaksanakan komunikasin interpersonal, sehingga memperoleh nilai pada siklus I sebesar 70 dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan pada siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan mencapai 86,32 dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

In the process of learning to write, students have the potential, interests and needs to be developed by the teacher. Therefore, the teacher has an important role in the language learning process, especially in the aspect of writing skills. The facts that occur in the field from the results of the author's observations in class X AKL 3 SMK N 6 Medan, the Indonesian language learning process is still not good enough compared to the mandatory learning process contained in the 2013 curriculum. And student learning outcomes in Indonesian, especially in the basic competence of writing negotiating texts, are still low. Therefore, to improve students' ability to write negotiating texts, learning models and media are needed so that students are able to write negotiating texts easily and pleasantly. The models and media used to overcome this are the use of project-based learning models and audio-visual media. With the use of this model and media it is expected that students will find it easy to write negotiating texts, because with these models and media students compose a negotiating text based on their direct experience. The background of the problems above is to implement the use of project based learning learning models and audio-visual media as an effort to improve students' ability to write negotiating texts in class X AKL 3 SMK N 6 Medan. Based on the results of research conducted in cycle I and cycle II in learning to write negotiating text using project based learning media and audio visual media, it was found that there was an increase in write negotiating text. This can be seen from the average value in the first cycle which was 64.78 and increased in the second cycle which was 80.03.

Abstract

The language skills that will be a careful focus in this research are pronunciation skills. The object of research is Thai learners with Indonesian teachers as teachers and researchers. Data was analyzed using the observation method, namely jumping in and looking directly at the subject and object of interest. By using direct methods in teaching, the data obtained shows the ability of Thai learners to pronounce Indonesian vocabulary. This research is qualitative research looking at pronunciation ability as evidence of the success of teaching methods. At the first meeting of class VIII students, it was found that 5 out of 16 students knew simple Malaysian Malay, which was only spoken, not written. At the second meeting, 2 out of 16 students were able to spell names in Indonesian. In the third meeting, students were able to write their names in Indonesian and pronounce the alphabet. At the fourth meeting, errors were found in reading the text of 3 words on the blackboard, such as the word "saudara" being read as "suadara", "bersih" being read as "berseh" and several words with vowel combinations which made it difficult for the students to read the text. At the fifth meeting, students were able to read writing in one paragraph with several pronunciation errors, such as the letter C being pronounced SI. From this data it is known that the ability to pronounce Indonesian vocabulary by Thai learners has increased with each meeting.

Abstract

Panti asuhan adalah rumah bagi anak-anak yang kurang beruntung, yang seringkali menghadapi tantangan dalam hal akses terhadap pendidikan dan sumber daya kreatif. Kreativitas adalah kualitas penting dalam perkembangan anak-anak, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, inovasi, dan pemecahan masalah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak-anak di panti asuhan adalah melalui program daur ulang barang bekas. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana program daur ulang barang bekas dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak-anak panti asuhan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati dan mewawancarai sekelompok anak di sebuah panti asuhan yang telah mengikuti program daur ulang barang bekas selama beberapa bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program daur ulang barang bekas memiliki dampak positif pada kreativitas anak-anak panti asuhan. Mereka belajar untuk melihat potensi kreatif dalam barang-barang bekas yang sebelumnya dianggap tidak berguna. Dengan bimbingan dan dukungan yang tepat, anak-anak ini mampu menciptakan karya seni, mainan, dan berbagai produk kreatif lainnya dari barang-barang bekas. Proses ini juga meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam berpikir kreatif, mengembangkan ide-ide baru, dan bekerja dalam tim. Program ini juga membantu anak-anak panti asuhan untuk merasa lebih percaya diri dan mandiri. Mereka belajar untuk mengatasi kendala dan mencari solusi dengan menggunakan sumber daya yang ada. Selain itu, program ini memberikan pelajaran tentang keberlanjutan dan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Keyword : Panti Asuhan, Kreativitas Anak, Daur Ulang, Barang Bekas.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is that researchers want to see language acquisition in the field of syntax for a 6-year-old child named Rizky Ramadhan. The source of the data that is the object of this research is the speech or oral utterance of a 6-year-old child named Rizky Ramadhan in the field of syntax. The method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative data analysis. Data collection techniques carried out by researchers in this study used listening, interviewing and recording techniques. The results of this study indicate that a 6-year-old child named Rizky is able to produce words and sentences in every activity. This can be proven from his daily speech with his interlocutor, namely the researcher, biological mother, and also the child's brother. The theory used in analyzing Rizky's speech refers to Abdul Chaer about sentence classification which includes news sentences (declarative), interrogative sentences (interrogative), imperative sentences, and exclamation sentences (interjective). The results of this study are that Rizky has been able to utter 22 declarative sentences, 15 interrogative sentences, 9 imperative sentences, and 8 interrogative sentences. sentence form as shown in the results.

Abstract

Year by year Indonesia's economic growth is increasingly advanced. This is marked by the development of industry and the large number of business people coming to Indonesia. Along with this, Indonesian as a communication tool began to develop and was widely used by foreign speakers. Thus, Indonesian also has the potential to become an international language. The focus of this research is the opportunities and challenges that occur when Thai students study a foreign language, namely Indonesian. The data source in this research is at the PattanakanSuksa Minithi School within the framework of the international community service program. The development of the Indonesian language is mostly carried out by the government and universities. It is hoped that the government will take steps to globalize the Indonesian language by making several efforts to spread the language for foreign students to learn Indonesian. This research touches on aspects such as teaching grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills in everyday situations. Additionally, information about cultural approaches, assessments, and support resources provided to program participants may be included.
