Abstract

This paper explores the Qur'anic and Hadith's perspective on teaching, emphasizing the principles of tawhid and Ilahiyah in shaping children's character. By embracing the natural potential of children as knowledge and skills, teachers are expected to be able to direct students to answer life's questions. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of library research that is descriptive of the meaning of Rahmah in the Quran which is integrated with teacher competence in managing learning. The results of this study found that teacher affection is important for an educator, not just as a conveyor of information or science. The teacher's compassion, as presented in the Qur'an and Hadith, contains such important elements as patience. The compassionate aspect of teacher compassion creates a learning environment full of warmth and support because the teacher's actions can have a big impact on the formation of student character.

Abstract

MTS Muhammadiyah 1 Malang merupakan salah satu Yayasan Pendidikan Sekolah Islami yang terletak di kota Malang. Sebagai sekolah yang menjadi peran penting bagi masyarakat tentunya ingin tetap menyediakan pelayanan yang lebih baik seperti layanan pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Permasalahan yang terjadi di MTS Muhammadiyah 1 Malang adalah belum adanya web yang membantu panitia PPDB dalam mengolah data pendaftaran dan membantu calon siswa baru dalam mempermudah proses pendaftaran. Sistem yang terpakai sekarang masih dalam kondisi konvensional masih menggunakan kertas formular pendaftaran sehingga beresiko kehilangan data, data sulit untuk dicari saat dibutuhkan kembali karena tidak adanya sistem backup data, cara petugas mengolah data belum menggunakan tegnologi informasi serta tidak memiliki informasi terkait mengenai pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat perancangan Sistem Informasi penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) si MTS Muhammadiyah 1 Malang berbasis web. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengunakan model Waterfall ,Tahap-tahap yang digunakan model waterfall terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu; Communication, Planing, Modeling, Contruction, dan Deployment. Hasil pengujian kelayakan sistem mengunakan User Acceptance Test (UAT) dari 10 responden terdapat 87,1% responden yang menyatakan setuju bahwa secara keseluruhan dari rata-rata prosentase aspek usability sistem informasi pendaftaran peserta didik baru (PPDB) dapat digunakan dengan benar dan baik pada pelayanan PPDB di MTS Muhammadiyah 1 Malang.

Abstract

The internship activity is an internship activity for Dharma Wanita Kromengan Vocational School students in an industrial environment for 6 months. However, there are various obstacles that occur when carrying out internship activities, including 1) Difficulty for admin in grouping internship students according to places in the world of business and industry (dudi) because zoning is recorded manually. 2) The low effectiveness of field supervisor teachers in monitoring students' activities every day at the internship site, because attendance and journals of students' daily activities are still recorded manually. 3) Recording is not recorded as a function of time, so there are cases of dishonesty when filling in the daily journal which is ultimately written at the end of the internship activity. 4) The attendance journal is damaged or torn or even lost. Based on the analysis of these problems, this research aims to monitor internship activities periodically, in an orderly and disciplined manner. Therefore, it is important to create a website-based internship system application using the Ucer Centered Design (UCD) method which can be accessed by students to record activities during internship and monitored by the internship coordinator as admin, field supervisor teacher and supervisor at the internship site as evaluator and evaluator. The results of the application created provide a feasibility response which was carried out using the User Acceptance Test (UAT), obtaining an average percentage for admins of 86.81%, teachers 87.80%, supervisors 88.19% and students 87.66%.

Abstract

Catholic High School (SMAK) at Bhakti Luhur Malang, is one of the Catholic religious-based high schools, in accepting new students (PPDB) it still uses a conventional system by sending and returning forms using couriers, sometimes it still needs to be re-confirmed for availability. Lack of registration requirements and the process of resubmitting these requirements are carried out. As a solution to this problem, this research created a design for a WEB-based PPDB information system at SMAK Bhakti Luhur Malang using a prototype model. The system was built by inputting the registration form and uploading student requirements documents. PPDB officers check the requirements, if there are any deficiencies they will be reconfirmed via e-mail and if they are complete then the registration will be accepted with notification via e-mail, students can check their registration status independently. The average UAT results from the research and development of this system reached 94%, indicating that the functions of the system were declared suitable for using as a PPDB information system at SMAK Bhakti Luhur Malang.

Abstract

This study critically explores Al-Farabi’s conception of justice in his political philosophy and evaluates its normative potential and conceptual limitations in the context of contemporary human rights discourse. The central research question investigates the extent to which Al-Farabi’s vision of the al-Madina al-Fadila (Virtuous City) can serve as a philosophical framework for bridging classical Islamic values with modern human rights principles. Rather than assuming full compatibility, the study interrogates the tension between Al-Farabi’s virtue-based, hierarchical model of justice and contemporary demands for equality, intersectional rights, and democratic participation. Employing a qualitative, library-based method and a philosophical hermeneutic approach, the research analyzes key texts—particularly Ara’ Ahl al-Madina al-Fadila and Tahsil al-Sa‘ada—alongside contemporary literature on Islamic legal reform and human rights theory. The findings demonstrate that Al-Farabi’s emphasis on rational leadership, ethical governance, and communal well-being—while historically bounded—offers interpretive value for rethinking legal reform through maqasid al-shari‘ah and contextual ijtihad. However, the study also underscores the epistemological challenges of adapting metaphysical frameworks to rights-based paradigms. It concludes that Al-Farabi’s thought should inspire—not dictate—Islamic legal innovation by contributing ethical and rational principles that remain critically grounded within both Islamic tradition and contemporary socio-legal realities. Academically, this research contributes to the growing body of interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of Islamic philosophy, political theory, and human rights, offering a nuanced reappraisal of classical Islamic thought as a dynamic resource for ethical-legal reform in pluralistic modern societies.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the concept of knowledge is portrayed in the story of Prophet Solomon in the Quran. The research adopts a qualitative approach and utilizes library research as the research method. Two types of data are used: primary data from the Quran regarding the concept of knowledge in the story of Prophet Solomon and secondary data from relevant books, journals, and Islamic texts. The data obtained are analyzed using descriptive methods.  The findings of the research reveal that the concept of knowledge in the story of Prophet Solomon in the Quran is evident in Surah An-Naml [27]: 15 and 16. These verses explain that Allah has bestowed wisdom and knowledge upon Prophet David and Prophet Solomon, encompassing knowledge related to God and His laws as well as general knowledge, such as the ability to lead and govern their people. They practice their knowledge well and express gratitude to Allah for the boundless blessings bestowed upon them. Moreover, Prophet Solomon is granted by Allah with additional virtues, including the ability to understand the sounds of birds and other creatures. The verses also elucidate that Allah has endowed Prophet Solomon with the capabilities and resources needed to govern his kingdom. Knowledge in the context of the story of Solomon serves prominent purposes, such as wisdom in governance, acknowledgment of Allah's power, submission to Allah's will, communication with nature, moral and ethical teachings, and obedience to Allah. The story of Solomon in the Quran involves various types of knowledge and learning, encompassing aspects such as creed, interpretation, monotheism, jurisprudence, miracles, history, leadership, language, theology, and ethics.
