Abstract

Learning behavior is influenced by internal factors and external factors. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of students who have poor learning behavior. This study aims to describe internal and external factors that influence student learning behavior. This type of descriptive research using quantitative methods. The research population of students of SMA Negeri 5 Padang was 1,025 students, and the research sample of 273 students were selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire about the factors that influence the learning behavior of the Likert Scale model. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of this study describe (1) internal factors that influence learning behavior namely physiological aspects are in the high category (50%), and psychological aspects are in the high category (49%), (2) external factors that influence learning behavior namely the social environment in the high category (68%), and the nonsocial environment is in the high category (63%). Based on the research findings, it is suggested to BK teachers to be able to provide Guidance and Counseling services in the form of information services, content mastery services, individual counseling services, group guidance services, and group counseling services to students, so that students can overcome the problems or obstacles they experience.

Abstract

Social media is the biggest platform used by students to present their own impressions. The social media that is quite widely used by students in Indonesia is Instagram. The use of Instagram social media has positive and negative impacts such as competition for luxury life, refusing to look at reality, and a crisis of confidence. In this case, one of the factors that is assumed to affect self-confidence is excessive use of social media Instagram. The purpose of this study was to see students' confidence in terms of the intensity of using Instagram social media. This study uses a comparative descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This study used a proportional random sampling technique with a sample size of 254 (n = 254). Data analysis used descriptive analysis and ANAVA test analysis using two way ANAVA. The findings of this study indicate that students' self-confidence is not significantly affected by the intensity of using Instagram social media.

Abstract

Sexual behavior is a form of behavior in the form of holding hands, holding hands, hugging, hugging, kissing, touching sensitive areas, and intimate relationships. Previously, sexual behavior was laden with moral principles, now sex has penetrated all corners of life as a lifestyle that has zero morality even among teenagers, including students. Sexual behavior can cause various health, social, and economic problems for adolescents themselves and their families. This needs to be resolved by various parties, one of which is the school by guidance and counseling teachers through special guidance and counseling services and activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of students 'sexual behavior and the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers to overcome students' sexual behavior. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with a purposive sampling technique with the number of research subjects two guidance and counseling teachers. This study uses a thematic analysis using interview transcripts that have been verbatim. The findings of this study are that there are students who have sexual behavior and the efforts provided by guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming sexual behavior, such as: providing information through classical services, conducting group guidance and group counseling services, conducting individual counseling, providing content mastery services, and doing cooperation with various parties.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the self-regulated learning of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung students. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods with a sample size of 268 students. Sampling using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a self-regulated learning questionnaire, a Likert scale model. This study measures self-regulated learning which includes: cognitive, motivation and behavior. The findings of this study reveal: (1) on average the overall students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung have self-regulated learning in the high category (69.81%), (2) the overall average grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung have self-regulated learning. -regulated learning with a high category (70.41%), (3) the overall average grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung have self-regulated learning with a high category (69.09%), (4) the overall average grade students IX SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Alung has a high category of self-regulated learning (69.92%)

Abstract

Motivation to learn is a strong impulse in students that raises activities for learning, guarantees the continuity of learning activities, one of the factors that influence students 'learning motivation is parents' socio-economic status. this research aims to : (1) learning motivation of students in schools with the condition of the upper and middle class socioeconomic status, (2) learning motivation of students in schools whose parents' social status is up and down, (3) learning motivation of students in schools with a condition of middle-class parents with lower social status, (4) identify differences in student learning motivation based on parental socio-economic status and its implications in guidance and counseling.This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive comparative method. The population of this study was as many as 800 students of Banuhampu Middle School 01 District. Agam and a sample of 187 students were selected by proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire form of Likert scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and test different techniques (analysis of variance) with SPSS for Windows version 20.00.The findings showed that: (1) The students' motivation social status on the high category, (2) The students 'motivation medium social status in the high category, (3) the social status of students' motivation under the category of being, and (4) there is a significant difference between students' motivation social status upper, middle and lower.

Abstract

Motivation is the need to develop one's abilities optimally, so that they can do better, excel and be creative. Ideally students are more independent in learning, strong learning will. In fact many students are still lazy in learning, have problems in learning such as getting unsatisfactory grades, and there are even students who do not have goals or ideals in themselves. This study aims to (1) describe Peer Conformity, (2) describe learning motivation, (3) test the significance of the relationship of Peer Conformity with learning motivation. This research is a descriptive correlational type of research with quantitative methods. The population of this research is Adabiah Padang High School students. The total sample of 219 students was selected using the Purposive Random Sampling technique. The research instrument used was a peer conformity questionnaire and a learning motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques with the help of the SPSS For Windows 20.0 program. The research findings show that (1) student peer conformity is in the high category, (2) learning motivation is in the high category, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between peer conformity with learning motivation with a correlation coefficient of -0,502 and a significant level of 0,000

Abstract

Each child in the birth order has advantages and disadvantages, but the most often attracts attention in the family is the youngest child. The phenomenon found in the presence of younger children who lack the motivation of achievement, less independent, likes to seek the attention of others, and difficult to adapt in new environment and lack of willingness in taking responsibility. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative. Research subjects of all youngest children at Junior High School totaling 107 people. The results reveal that, (1) independence is generally in the category of less good; (2) adaptation in school is generally in very good category; (3) achievement motivation is generally in the less good category; and (4) responsibility in learning is generally in the good category.

Abstract

Learning management is process and activities to manage the learning efforts and to keep the achievable of goals. Leaning management is also associated with interaction in learning process with other human beings as well as with learning environment, learning outcomes and the objectives. This research is based on the problems that cause the delay of completing the study of organizational activists among students. The research method is quantitative with descriptive approach. Research subjects involved in this study were as many as 73 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire. From the results of the study noted that the overall ability of student learning management among student activists is in the category of “capable”. This result study recommends campus’s leader to help the sustainability of “good“ learning management, counseling lecturers and UPBK (campus’s counseling center) should provide appropriate services in maintaining good learning management and improve management skills for students who are still “less able” to manage their learning.

Abstract

Creativity is a person's ability to create something new. Creativity of students need to be cultivated by all of their environment, such as their parents, teacher’s subjects, or guidance and counseling teacher. This research aims to describe the creativity of the students in SMPN 2 Padang, and describe the efforts to be made by the teacher guidance and counseling in developing the creativity of students. The type of this research is the research of combinations (Mixed method), the populations of this research are 536 people, with 88 samples using proportional random sampling technique. The source of this data research is from primary data collected by using paper test to appereance the creativity (AUKREF) and interviews with the guidance and counseling teachers. The results of this research are: (1) The creativity level of the students are in good category (71.6%) with the average score of student is 54.34. (2) The efforts made by guidance and counseling in developing students' creativity is to create a sense of safe to the students, recognizing the advantages of students creative, strategies or tips in favor of the students to be more creative, to help student who has the creativity to understanding their differences with the other children, give opportunities for creative students to communicate ideas, and provide guidance and counseling services in developing students' creativity. Based on these findings, it hopefully the guidance and counseling teacher can optimize guidance and counseling services in developing students' creativity at SMPN 2 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan uuntuk mendeskripsikan perilaku agresif siswa laki-laki, mendeskripsikan perilaku agresif siswa perempuan, dan mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat perbedaan perilaku agresif siswa Laki-laki dan siswa Perempuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dan komparatif, dengan sampel 78 orang siswa, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala perilaku agresif. Analisis deskriptif menggunakan rumus persentase untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi perbedaan perilaku agresif siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan melalui program SPSS for windows release 20. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perilaku agresif siswa laki-laki pada umumnya berada pada ketegori sedang (38%) (2) perilaku agresif siswa perempuan pada umumnya berada pada kategori rendah (36%) (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara perilaku agresif siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan dengan signifikansi 0.470. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlu pelayanan konseling untuk mengurangi dan mengatasi perilaku agresif siswa secara keseluruhan dan juga sesuai karakteristik masing-masing siswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin
