Abstract

Siswa yang baru saja memasuki jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau Madrasah Aliyah (MA) tentunya akan menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan dan suasana yang baru. Namun, dalam praktiknya tidak jarang mengalami masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo yang berjumlah 420 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 191 siswa dengan teknik sampling simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala konsep diri (α = 0,900) dan skala penyesuaian diri (α = 0,882). Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product-moment dari Pearson dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) = 0,725 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan penyesuaian diri pada siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Sidoarjo. Pengaruh konsep diri terhadapa penyesuaian diri dalam penelitian ini sebesar 57,7%.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the relationship between family well being and the students’ aggressiveness. The proposed hypothesis is that there is a negative relationship between family well being and aggressiveness of junior high school students. Quantitative research method with correlational research was used to conduct this study. The sample of this study was 172 students recruited from 338 students in the population by implementing simple random sampling technique. Likert scale model was used as data collection technique to measure the family well being and aggressiveness. Pearson’s Product Moment correlation technique with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows was performed to analyze the data. The results showed that there was -0.225 correlation coefficient  with the significance value of 0.001 <0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between family well being and aggressiveness among the seventh grade students of a private junior high school in Buduran sub-district. It means that the higher the family well being is, the lower the aggressiveness is and vice versa. Family well being contributes 4.5% to the aggressiveness variable.

Abstract

Mapel Tematik PKn ialah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang pembentukan karakter, pelaksanaan hak dan kewajibannya, sesuai dengan Pancasila dan undang-undang dasar tahun 1945.Pendidikan karakter didefinisikan sebagai usaha pendidik yang sudah direncanakan sebelumnya, untuk mendidik atau memperdaya potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa, terutama siswa sekolah dasar, guna dapat membangun karakter pribadinya, dan menjadikan individu yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat maupun negaranya. Dengan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai karakter, yang diajarkan guru saat kegiatan belajar mengajar. Melalui penelitian kualitatif di dapatkan sebuah kesimpulan bahwa Pembelajaran PKn Tematik Melalui Media Smart Board Hybride Learning dapat membentuk karakter Critical Thinking pada siswa SD kelas 2 di SDN Watutulis. Abstract: Thematic subject matter of Civics is the study of character building, the implementation of rights and obligations, in accordance with Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Character education is defined as an educator's pre-planned effort to educate or exploit the potential possessed by students, especially students. elementary school, in order to be able to build his personal character, and make individuals who are beneficial to society and their country. By inculcating character values, which are taught by teachers during teaching and learning activities. Through qualitative research, it was concluded that the Thematic Civics Learning through Smart Board Hybride Learning media can shape the character of Critical Thinking in grade 2 elementary school students at SDN Watutulis.

Abstract

Schools have large potential of human resources. Unfortunately, this potential has not effectively supported the Sekolah Adiwiyata program. Two junior high schools in Tulangan Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency, have potential human resources that can be optimized in initiating the Sekolah Adiwiyata program. Post-training training and mentoring were provided as a form of social support for the initiation of the Sekolah Adiwiyata program. The results show that social support strengthens the teacher's healthy behavior as the initiator of the Sekolah Adiwiyata.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of employees who feel they lack the rights as employees in the company.This study aims to determine differences in job satisfaction between permanent employees and outsourced employees of PT. Domusindo Perdana. This research is a comparative quantitative study. The population in this study was 1,242 employees. This study uses a sample of 200 employees with details of 100 permanent employees of PT. Domusindo Perdana and 100 outsourced employees of PT. Domusindo Perdana. The sampling technique used in this study is quota sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used a job satisfaction scale consisting of 41 items. The hypothesis in this study is that there are differences in job satisfaction between permanent employees and outsourced employees of PT. Domusindo Perdana. The results in this study indicate that the value of permanent employee job satisfaction (mean rank: 130.78) is higher than the value of outsourcing employee satisfaction (mean rank: 70.22) with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 which indicates that there are differences in satisfaction work between permanent employees and outsourcing employees of PT. Domusindo Perdana.

Abstract

Tingkat Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD di perkotaan khususnya di Kabupaten Sidoarjo masih terbilang minim, yaitu hanya sebesar 18-22 % dari rata-rata siswa di dalam kelas yang mampu berfikir kritis saat PBM berlangsung hasil responden guru yang dilakukan oleh peneliti via google form angket 2021, hal ini terjadi karena rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam hal bertanya, menanggapi, mempresentasikan serta berdialog sesama siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran serta masih sulit nya dalam menyampaikan pendapat atau opsi jawaban kepada guru pada saat pembelajaran maupun saat diskusi dan belum mampu memahami konsep abstrak pada pembelajaran Tematik (data hasil penelitian Pandu Hermawan Tahun 2018). Sedangkan kedepan tantangan di Era – Post. Pandemic Covid 19 mewajibkan setiap individu memiliki keterampilan berfikir kritis dalam berbagai bidang yang multidisipliner. Dilapangan ditemukan kembali sebuah data dari permasalahan pada sisi rendahnya ketrampilan proses Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD Watutulis 2 kelas II yaitu sebesar 68% siswa di kelas II mengalami kesulitan dalam proses berfikir kritis saat PBM dari total 26 siswa didalam kelas, data ini berdasarkan hasil observasi peneliti yang dilakukan pada tanggal 6 Desember 2021 . Maka dari Latar belakang permasalahan diatas diperlukan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD melalui pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD kelas II pada mata pelajaran TEMATIK. (2) Mendekripsikan hasil pengembangan pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD kelas II pada mata pelajaran TEMATIK. Pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroomberbasis Critical Thinking Ability akan dilakukan sampai tahap desain / uji coba dengan sebuah hipotesis bahwa pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD Watutulis 2 kelas II. Prototipe produk yang dihasilkan yaitu sebuah Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom yang telah disusun satu paket dengan Modul , RPP dan silabusnya serta manual guide-nya dimana media ini memiliki berbagai jenis permainan games fun learning yang mampu menarik motifasi siswa agar mampu berdialog dan berinteraksi dengan sesama temannya dalam proses pembelajaran dalam pemikiran yang berlangsung kritis. Pendekatan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan dilakukan penyederhanaan langkah, dari sepuluh langkah (Borg & Gall, 2003 :571), menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, dan validasi. Selanjutnya peneliti mengadaptasi berdasarkan pada ketentuan dan kebutuhan dalam Pengembangan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroomberbasis Critical Thinking Ability. Adapun rencana didalam penelitian ini nantinya adalah adanya peningkatan ketrampilan Critical Thinking Ability siswa SD kelas II pada saat proses pembelajaran melalui penggunaan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom berbasis Critical Thinking Ability yang dikembangkan melalui petunjuk yang ada pada media. Diharapkan nantinya penggunaan Media Smart Board berbasis Interactive Hybrid Classroom ini menarik motifasi siswa agar mampu berdialog dan berinteraksi dengan sesama temannya dalam proses pembelajaran dalam pemikiran yang berlangsung kritis, sehingga siswa akan memahami keseluruhan materi Tematik yang disampaikan. Sehingga nantinya media tersebut dapat menjawab tantangan pengembangan dunia pendidikan SD dalam memasuki Era – Post. Pandemic Covid 19 hal ini pun sejalan dan sinergi pada pencapaian renstra UMSIDA yang telah dinyatakan dalam road map penelitian social humaniora LPPM Umsida yaitu pada point 8 tentang pengembangan inovasi pendidikan dan budaya Literasi.

Abstract

Student wellness is one of the keys to success in Higher Education. Community is a potential psychological resource in maintaining wellness within the students. Sense of community is related to the wellness of the students. This study aims to determine the relationship between wellness and sense of community in students of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo (UMSIDA). A total of 66 students were included as respondents in this study obtained by using cluster sampling technique. The data were collected using Wellness Evaluation of Lifestyle inventory and Sense of Community Scale. The data analysis used is Pearson's correlational analysis. The result, there is a significant relationship between sense of community and wellness in UMSIDA students. That is, students with the SoC have more opportunities to achieve wellness better than other who doesn’t.

Abstract

This study aims to adapt the Self-Efficay Questionnaire for Children (SEQ-C) into Indonesian and analyze the quality of its psychometric properties. The adaptation model refers to the concept developed by Beaton with 5 (five) stages, including initial translation, synthesis of the translations, back translation, expert committee, and pre-final version testing. This research method used descriptive quantitative by adapting measuring instruments. This research was conducted offline and online on students who live in the Aisyiyah Orphanage in East Java and students who are cared for by their parents with an age range of 12-18 years (N = 187; Boys 16% and Girls 83%). This study used Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Children (SEQ-C) instruments with data collection techniques using the SEQ-C scale. Data analysis using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and internal consistency reliability using JASP Version 16.0.0. The results of the CFA in model 2 show that there is a model fit (model fit) with the data, with a score of 2 = 169,999 (p = 0.421 > 0.05); RMSEA = 0.008 < 0.08; CFI = 0.999 > 0.9; TLI = 0.999 > 0.9; SRMR = 0.059 < 0.08 and has a loading factor > 0.4. Reliability test using internal consistency on each factor SEQ-C shows good results (including factors A, B, and C). SEQ-C, adapted into Indonesian, has met adequate validity and reliability to be used as a measuring tool for self-efficacy in students living in orphanages in Indonesia. However, it needs to be tested on students more generally, starting from elementary to high school.

Abstract

This research is a study of the phenomenon of affective commitment experienced by IMM students, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religiosity and affective commitment in IMM students, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The type of research used is quantitative research with a correlational approach. This study uses two variables, namely the religiosity variable as the independent variable and the affective commitment variable as the dependent variable. This research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo on 172 IMM Students (Muhammadiyah Student Association) using the Convenience Sampling technique. The data collection technique used two psychological scales with a Likert scale model, namely the religiosity scale and the affective commitment scale. The results of the reliability coefficient of Alpha Cronbach's religiosity scale of 0.935 with a total of 35 valid items, while the results of the reliability coefficient of Alpha Cronbach's affective commitment scale of 0.957 with a total of 48 valid items. The analysis used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis technique using the SPSS 20 for windows program. The results of the correlation coefficient analysis showed the results of 0.370 with a significance of 0.000. So that it is stated that there is a positive relationship between religiosity and affective commitment to IMM students, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, this shows that the initial hypothesis proposed by the researcher is accepted. The result of the effective contribution between the variables of religiosity and affective commitment is 13.7%.
