Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan aktualisasi diri dengan perilaku narsistik pada mahasiswa yang menggunakan Instagram di Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Variabel yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah aktualisasi diri sebagai variabel bebas dan perilaku narsistik sebagai variabel yang terikat. Populasi siswa pengguna Instagram adalah 290 siswa, sedangkan sampel yang diambil adalah 168 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah proporsional stratified random sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan model skala likert.Aktualisasi diri (r = 0.857) digunakan untuk mengukur aktualisasi diri dan skala perilaku narsistik (r = 0. 942) digunakan untuk mengukur perilaku narsistik. Berdasarkan analisis uji product moment Pearson ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara aktualisasi diri dengan perilaku narsistik pada mahasiswa pengguna Instagram dengan atribut -0,527 dengan signifikansi 0,000 <0,005. Koefisien determinasi yang ditunjukkan R square sebesar 0,278. Angka tersebut menjelaskan bahwa dalam penelitian ini variabel aktualisasi diri memberikan kontribusi efektif sebesar 27,8% terhadap perilaku narsistik pada mahasiswa pengguna Instagram. Koefisien determinasi yang ditunjukkan oleh R square adalah 0,278 angka tersebut menjelaskan bahwa pada penelitian variabel aktualisasi diri memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 27,8% terhadap perilaku narsistik pada mahasiswa pengguna instagram.Kata kunci- aktualisasi diri; perilaku narsistik; mahasiswa pengguna instagram

Abstract

This research is a correlational quantitative method that is motivated by phenomena that seek to undiscipline in school environment. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between parents with discipline students in MTs Nurul Huda Sedati. Variables in this research is Parent attachment as independent variable (X) and Discipline as independent variable (Y). This research was conducted in MTs Nurul Huda Sedati covering class VII-IX with total sample of 221 students, taken using proporsionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this research using psychological model that is Likert, that is IPPA scale (parent attachment) and disciplinary scale. Hypothesis in this research is there is positive relation between parent attachment with student discipline. Data analysis was done by statistical technique from Product Moment from Pearson using SPSS 18.0 for windows. The result of data analysis show open coefficient (rxy) = 0,285 with significance level 0.000 (less than 0,01) accepted hypothesis. The results showed there was a positive relationship between parents with discipline students in MTs Nurul Huda Sedati.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of vermicompost fertilizer and EM4 on the growth and production of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum). This research was conducted in the village of Penatarsewu Tanggulangin District Sidoarjo Regency, start from October 2018 until January 2019. Experiments are arranged factorially by using a Randomized Environmental Plan (RAK) which was repeated three times. The first factor is the dose vermicompost fertilizer 100 gr/plant (D1), t 200 gr/plant (D2), 300 gr/plant (D3) and 400 gr/plant (D4). The second factor with EM4 that is without EM4 (E0) and with EM4 (E1). The variables observed are plant high, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruits, fruit weight, and plant weight. The results show that interaction the observation of plant high, the dose vermicompost fertilizer significant effect of observation number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruits, fruit weight, and plant weight. The gift EM4 signifi- cant effect of observation plant high and number of leaves. The results of the study say that treatment dose vermicompost fertilizer 400 gr/plant (D4) and giving EM4 (E1) on the growth and production of tomato is better.

Abstract

Di tengah pandemi Covid-19 yang tidak kunjung berakhir dan keterbatasan tenaga medis yang menangani pasien covid-19, keberadaan relawan non-medis menjadi sangat penting bagi masyarakat. Untuk menjadi relawan yang handal, diperlukan berbagai keterampilan dalam menangani pasien covid-19. Keberadaan relawan Muhammadiyah Covid-19 Command Center (MCCC) Kabupaten Sidoarjo telah dirasakan oleh masyarakat di Sidoarjo. Namun, bantuan relawan MCCC hanya terbatas pada antar jemput pasien dan pemulasaran jenazah. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan relawan dalam pertolongan pertama pasien Covid-19, mencakup ketrampilan medis, komunikasi efektif, dan bimbingan ibadah. Sasaran pelatihan adalah relawan MCCC Kabupaten Sidoarjo dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan dan simulasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa relawan memiliki ketrampilan dalam pertolongan pertama pasien Covid-19, yang meliputi ketrampilan menolong pasien yang mengalami sesak nafas dengan berbagai teknik proning, ketrampilan memasang alat bantu oksigen, ketrampilan menolong pasien yang mengalami anosmia, ketrampilan dalam membuat disinfektan, ketrampilan dalam berkomunikasi dengan pasien dan keluarganya, serta ketrampilan mendampingi ibadah pasien.

Abstract

Density of boarding activities demanding students to do more intense routines. These routines can be a pressure for students that experienced mental fatigue of Burnout. Burnout can be affected by external factors or internals. Internals factors become very important because individual assessnebt against external factors depend on its internal factors. The method of this research is quantitative correlational by using the boarding school’s students as subjects. Determination of the subject use proporsionate stratified random sampling. The method of data collection is spread the questioner wich contain Hardiness and Burnout scale based on aspects of each variables. This research analyze the relationship of Hardiness as internal factor with Burnout on boarding school’s students. This research use quantitative correlational method with a scale of Hardiness and Burnout that distribute on 97 boarding school’s students. The result of this research are calculated using the correlational product moment, then obtained a very significant result with a value of correlational is – 0,714. Based on the result , the correlation between Hardiness and Bunrout has proven with a negative direction of hypothesis. Based on simple regression analysis on the results, obtained F of 92,664 with sig = 0.000 which sig is less than 0.05. The effective contribution of Hardiness against Burnout is 50.5%, the meaning there is still a 49.5% chance of Burnout is affected by other variables.

Abstract

Pada masa perkembangan remaja individu memasuki masa storm and stress. Kemampuan regulasi emosi yang berlangsung tidak tepat, akan membuat remaja cenderung mengikuti emosinya dalam berbagai tindakan yang menyebabkan hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan terjadi, seperti terjadinya perkelahian yang merugikan lingkungan sekitar. Keterampilan psikologis akan membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental mereka. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berupa psikoedukasi dilakukan pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Sebanyak 47 siswa mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hal ini ditunjang dari asesmen kebutuhan melalui wawancara dan menyebarkan kuesioner berupa google form dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang di alami siswa. Psikoedukasi memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan (role play) metode regulasi emosi dengan Expressive Writing dan Breathing Exercise. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan dari nilai pre-test sebesar 33.000 menjadi 33.979 dalam perhitungan post-test pemahaman tentang psikoedukasi regulasi emosi. Sedangkan dalam pre-test Visual Scale Analoge (VAS) untuk mengukur emosi yang semulanya memiliki rata-rata 3.340 memiliki penurunan menjadi 3.149. Hasil ini menggambarkan bahwa psikoedukasi keterampilan regulasi emosi mampu menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapkan siswa SMP terutama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan meregulasi emosi

Abstract

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the surge in maladaptive behavior among kindergarten students presents a pressing educational concern. Swift identification of such behaviors is crucial for effective intervention. This quantitative experimental study investigates the efficacy of the "Utilization of Information Technology-based Maladaptive Behavior Screening" training in bolstering the competence of teachers. Through quasi-experimental methods, 49 teachers from 'Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal in Sidoarjo Regency participated in the training. The assessment tool employed was a comprehension test. Statistical analysis via paired samples t-test revealed a significant enhancement (p = 0.009; p < 0.05) between pre- and post-training performance. The intervention showcased substantial effectiveness (rs = 0.053; rs > 0.5) in elevating the teaching quality at 'Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal. This study underscores the importance of IT-based tools in addressing maladaptive behavior issues and fortifying teacher aptitude amidst challenging circumstances, with implications extending to diverse educational settings. Highlight: Educational Imperative: The study addresses the heightened maladaptive behavior in kindergarten students during the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the urgency of timely identification for effective intervention. Abstract

Adolescents with high subjective well being will experience life satisfaction and experience joy more often, and rarely experience unpleasant emotions, such as sadness and anger. Adolescents with high subjective well being will tend to have emotions that are always positive which in the end all life problems and developmental tasks can be resolved properly. This study aims to determine the effect of the relationship between emotion regulation and subjective well being in adolescents who live in boarding schools. The variables of this study are emotion regulation as the independent variable (X) and subjective well being as the dependent variable (Y). This research design uses a correlational approach with a sample of 108 students, using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling type. This research instrument is the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Scale of Positive An Negative Experience (SPANE) with Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.877 to measure subjective well being. The Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) with Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.730 to measure emotion regulation. Data analysis in this study used Pearson product moment correlation. The results of data analysis show that there is no significant relationship between emotion regulation and subjective well being in adolescents at boarding schools with a sig value. 0,383 (p<0,05).

Abstract

Cyber Aggression is a behavior where individuals hurt others in cyberspace. This research is intended to examine the relationship between Celebrity Worship and Cyber Aggression in early adult Kpop fans on the Twitter Platform. The research method is quantitative correlation and the data analysis uses Pearson r correlation through JASP with measuring instruments, namely the Celebrity Worship scale with Cyber Aggression. The result of this study indicates that there is a significant relationship between Celebrity worship and Cyber Aggression. Celebrity Worship and Cyber Aggression, obtaining result (r=0,287, p<0,001) this shows that there is a positive relationship between Celebrity Worship and Cyber Aggression. Shows a very significant positive relationship between Cyber Aggression and Celebrity Worship, which means that the higher the value of a person’s Celebrity Worship, the higher of the Cyber Aggression. Then the higher of Cyber Aggression he/she has or vice versa lower of the Celebrity Worship value. The lower of the Celebrity Worship value, is the lower of the Cyber Aggression he/she has.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and subjective well-being in students who live in boarding schools. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 158 and a sample of 108 using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling type. This research instrument is the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) to measure the cognitive component and the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) with a reliability of 0.887 to measure subjective well-being. While peer social support was measured using the Peer Social Support Scale with a reliability of 0.876. The data in this study used Pearson's product moment correlation. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between peer social support and subjective well-being with a sig value. 0,004 (p<0,05).
