Abstract

Construction always rises to polemics and conflicts of interest between landowners and the state guarantees the rights of ownership over the land. The government is trying to bridge the existing conflict of interest with the aim to achieve the infrastructure development by issuing regulations on land acquisition for public purposes. Conceptually, accommodation on the two interests has actually existed since 1960 when the Law of Principal Agrarian was formed. This paper aims to clarify that the provision of land for public purposes associated with the release/revocation of land rights and the rights of control by the state in Pluit Reservoir project normalization does not violate the Law and Human Rights. It is appropriate for the primary purpose of the Law of Pricipal Agrarian, which is for public interest and for the welfare of the whole society.

Abstract

In social life it is impossible apart from the laws and regulations that apply. Society must comply with and obey the law because the law observance will provide comfort and peace. The number of disputes in the community was triggered by the loss of the character of the Indonesian nation. The dispute led to violations of the law and cause discomfort. The study was conducted to determine the effect of character education to the students of law observance. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods. The number of samples in this study was 60 students and data analysis was performed by using regression analysis with SPSS. The results showed the characteristics of students who responded 53% of them turned out to have the value of honesty, 56% agreed to the value of mutual respect and 46% agreed for mutual cooperation. While the observance of law, students tend to obey the law for fear of sanctions and wants to be seen as a good person. Obedience to the law of the individual number is only 43%. Statistical test results also show that there is a relationship between the character and influence of the rule of law.

Abstract

The goal of this article was to suggest the government to make the appropriate laws and policies in order to optimize the utilization of coal based on environmental sustainability. The research applied library research from several research results and the Act no. 4 of 2009. Data were analyzed qualitatively by the way of decomposition, connecting with the rules, and the legal experts? opinion. It can be concluded that investors are not optimal in managing and conserving the coal mining and the government has not standaridized the environmental management.
