Abstract

Abstract The purpose of article was to describe the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show at Sanggar Kelambu Suto Kenagarian Muaro Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis method. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed by classifying the data based on the conceptual framework. The result of the research indicated that the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show was influenced by the society’s willingness to preserve the dance, so that Awang who was one of them develop the new form of the dance. The development could be seen from some elements including movements, dancer, floor design, music, properties, costume and the place of the show. Abstract

AbstractThis article aimed to explain and describe the Improvement of Student Learning Outcomes of Traditional Dance by using the Cooperative Learning Method in class X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Solok. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research. The flow of this study was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The research instrument was obtained from written tests and practice tests. The types of data in this research were primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were done through written tests and practice tests, document studies and observations. The results of this study showed that the use of Cooperative Learning methods in learning art and culture, especially dance in class X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1Solok could improve the learning outcomes. In the first cycle, there was no significant increase in student learning outcomes. After continuing in the second cycle using the Cooperative Learning method, it was found that that student learning outcomes increased. This was proved by the learning outcomes of class X IPA 3 students in the first cycle of student learning outcomes with an average of 76.04 and cycle II with an average score of 83.84. Thus, there has been an improvement in learning outcomes of dance art using Cooperative Learning methods and targets has been achieved successfully as well.Keywords:           Learning Outcomes, Traditional Dance, Cooperative Learning

Abstract

Abstract This research is a classroom ction research conducted at SMPN 1 Bukittinggi, grade VIII C class because this class have the value of the lowest student from another class, namely the value ofthe average gradeis 71. The teacher used cooperative learning model snowball throwing type, where the learning model was a kind of ball throwing game filled with question related to the materials discussed in the class, which is useful for stimulating creativity, teamwork, participation and sense of responsibility of students to a given task. From the results of the study proved that the learning out comes of students has increased VIII C class better that in the first cycle students 'average score was 73 and the second cycle students' average score was 83.   Kata kunci: Model Kooperatif Tipe Snowball Throwing, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to reveal and explain the impact of exploration methods for learning local dance elapsed areas in SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained by direct observation and interviews. Data were analyzed based on the phenomena that occur in learning, to interpret the relationship between the phenomena occurring in the learning. The results showed, exploratory methods in teaching dance at SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu resulted in increased imagination and creative power and ability of the students in the birth of new motifs from local dance movement. Another impact is that students feel they have freedom of expression, and is able to explore the body with improvisation, so that ideas can create new movement patterns are used for local dance lessons.

Abstract

Abstract This study was aimed to find out the relationship of body exercise toward the traditional dance major Study Result ondrama, music, and dance art Students 2107 in Padang State University.Type of the research was quantitative with correlational method. The population in this research were students of drama, music, and dance art2017 in Padang State University who were amounted 119students, meanwhile the sample were 41 students. Instruments which used by using observation, documentation and interviews. Types of data used in this research were primary and secondary data. Technique of data analysis was a correlational statistic of product moment.Results of this research showed that there was a relationship ofbody exercise toward the study results of traditional dance of Minangkabau. Value of rarithmetic 0.591 and rtable. 0.312 at significant levels of 5%, then it could be inferred thatrarithmeticwas bigger  than rtable so that the hypothesis of Ho was denied and Ha was received, it meant that there was a significant relationship ofthe body exercise toward the results of Minangkabau traditional dance learning. By using free degree n-2 (41-2 = 39) and the real degree 0.05 on t distribution table to the hypothesis test of significance limit (ttabel) was 1.68. Remind of tarithmetic (4.576) wasbigger than ttable (1.68), then it could be inferred that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted because the test results proved that tarithmeticwasbigger than ttable i.e. 4.576 > 1.68, this meant there was a significant relationship of the body exercise toward the study results of traditional dance majors on drama, music, and dance artstudent 2017, the relationship was pretty strong on the interpretation. This study also expressed the magnitude of the contribution of a given variable X (the body exercise) toward the variable Y (Minangkabau traditional dance learning results), itwas amounted to 34.93% toward the variable Y and the rest (65.07%) were affected by other factors which not examined in this study. Keywords: The Relationship, Body Exercise, Minangkabau Traditional Dance.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to discover and describe the Interest of students Towards the art of dance in Dance in JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL extracurricular activities Development Laboratory research using the UNP. qualitative method with descriptive analysis approach. The object of this research is the students who follow the Extracurricular dance in JUNIOR Development Laboratory UNP totalling 18 people. Research instrument this is a researcher as observer and tools in accordance with observation sheets. The technique of data collection on penilitian this is with the study of librarianship, documentation, observation, and then processed using the formula percentages and rates close to the respondent. The results showed that the interest of students towards extracurricular dance belongs to the medium. It is obtained from the results of the calculations of the indicator by using the observation sheets feeling pleased with the amount of percentage of 70.3% 55.5%, interest, attention to 62.9%, 75.9% engagement, curiosity 46.2% and 33.3% of the needs. So the summation of the data obtained through observation is 57.4%. Keywords: Interest students, dance art, extracurricular activities

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know and to description about student interest to lesson dance of art an MTsn Pakan Selasa Regency of South Solok. The kind of research that do is quantitative and descriptive and to use questionnaire technic. Indicator that to use is attention feeling and discipline. Analyze data to base of result a research to show that student interest to lesson dance of art at MTsN Pekan Selasa Regency of South Solok. That have to category is very good or 91,7% (Attention Indicator, 87,23%, Feeleng indikator 83,14%, dicipline indikator 104,75%).

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know what the efforts of teacherto motivate boys in Class VII.1 are. This research was qualitative research by using descriptive analysis method. It is described a particular situation. The instrument of the research was a researcher itself. The meeting for teaching and learning process was 5 times where the material that is delivered organizely. The result of the research described boys were interested to learn Minang dance. It can be seen from their high attention, discipline and responsibility during teaching and learning process. The teacher did individual approach by giving reward to boys who had done perfectly in dancing. This research is hoped to give contribution for others especially for art teachers. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to reveal and describe the training of self-development dance arts at SMA N 1 Batang Anai. The type of this research was qualitative research with descriptive method analysis. The research object was female students of SMA N 1 Batang Anai at grade XI IPS 1, XI IPS 2, XI IPS 3, XI IPS 4 and XI IPS 5 in even semester (January-June) academic year 2017/2018 who joined self-development. The instrument used in this research was the researcher itself. The types of data in this study were the primary and secondary data. The technique of data collection was done by documents study, observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research showed that the training of self-development in the dance arts ran well. Although the students’ interest in dancing was very low which only 12 from 21 students who registered. Those 12 female students who attended the training had a good ability in dance since they practiced dance, they focused and were serious. Moreover, they were also able to perform Pasambahan dance and performed it on school event namely Art Performance in SMA N 2 Batang Anai that was held on Saturday, 30th June 2018. Keywords: Training, Self-Improvement, Dance

Abstract

Abstract This Article aims to explain and describe the improvement of student learning outcomes by using Discovery Method in the learning of dance arts at the SMP Negeri 18 Padang in Padang. The type of research was classroom action research carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Padang with a total was 31 people. Data collection instruments used was observation sheets, field notes, and knowledge (Cognitive) and skills (Psychomotor) test results. The results of this study indicate that learning using Discovery Method succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Padang. It is proved by the improvement of student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II where there is a very good improvement. In the first cycle, the result of the skills test (psychomotor) was 60%. As well as the first cycle test results for tests of knowledge (cognitive) for test learning outcomes was 54%. Cycle II learning test results on the skills test (psychomotor) are 93.54%. As well as the second cycle test for knowledge (cognitive) is 96.77%. Thus the use of Discovery Method to improve learning outcomes in dance art learning in 7th-grade students of SMP Negeri 18 Padang has been well achieved. Keywords:                 The Application, Discovery Method, The Results Of The Study, The Art Of Dance
