Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media kartu kelas kata (KAKEK) untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mengajarkan pada peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D). Subyek dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa Universitas Peradaban dan Siswa SDN 1 Gumelar. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode angket/kuisoner, observasi, tes dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran kartu kelas kata (KAKEK) layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran untuk mempermudah mahasiswa dalam menjelaskan kelas kata Bahasa Indonesia. Rerata skor kelayakan media Kartu Kelas Kata (KAKEK) dari ahli materi sebesar 4,56 yang terletak pada rentang X > 4,20 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Adapun rerata skor kelayakan media kartu kelas kata (KAKEK) dari ahli media sebesar 4,24 yang terletak pada rentang X > 4,20 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”.Kata Kunci: Media, Kartu, Kelas Kata Abstract: The current study aims at developing parts of speech card (KAKEK) media to facilitate the internship students to teach Bahasa Indonesia in Elementary School. This study is a research and development (R&D) design. The subjects of this research were students of Peradaban University and students of SDN 1 Gumelar. The data was collected through questionnaire, observation, test, and interview. The result reveals that parts of speech card (KAKEK) media is feasible to apply for the students to teach parts of speech of Bahasa Indonesia. The mean of the feasibility score of the media from expert of material is 4.56 which is on the range of X>4.20, indicating that it is in “very feasible” category.  In addition, it achieves 4.24 for the mean of the feasibility score from expert of media. This score is on the range of X>4.20, which includes in “very feasible”.Keywords: Media, Card, Parts of Speech

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Maskulinitas adalah konsep yang mencerminkan peran sosial dan perilaku laki-laki yang berkembang sesuai budaya. Dalam cerpen Laki-laki Sengsara karya Iman Suwongso, maskulinitas digambarkan melalui tokoh laki-laki pekerja keras yang hidup dalam keterbatasan. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mengkaji tentang peran maskulinitas pada cerpen yang berjudul Laki-Laki sengsara karya Iman Suwongso. Metode : Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berasal dari cerpen Laki-Laki Sengsara karya Iman Suwongso. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca, teknik catat. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan tentang maskulinitas pada tokoh laki-laki berkulit hitam yang hidup di antara ladang dan bilik gelap rumahnya dapat ditemukan antaranya (1) fisik laki-laki yang kuat, (2) fungsional laki-laki bekerja keras hanya untuk diri sendiri, (3) agresif memiliki pengekangan emosi terhadap istrinya, (4) emosional saat melihat anaknya tidak sempurna, (5) intelektual laki-laki kulit hitam hanya memikirkan tanah yang telah diraihnya, (6) interpersonal memiliki kepribadian mandiri, (7) karakter seorang laki-laki kulit hitam egois dan ambisius. Kesimpulan : Cerpen Laki-Laki Sengsara karya Iman Suwongso menggambarkan maskulinitas melalui tokoh laki-laki pekerja keras yang hidup dalam keterbatasan dengan tujuh aspek utama. Keinginannya memiliki anak laki-laki normal untuk membantu di ladang mencerminkan peran maskulin yang diwariskan turun-temurun.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Azab dan Sengsara karya Merari Siregaryang diterbitkan oleh Balai Pustaka pada tahun 1920, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan masalahsosial yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Data-data dalam penelitian ini yakni berupa kalimat yang ditulis dalam bentuk kutipancerita yang mengandung permasalahan sosialyang terdapat dalam novel Azab dan Sengsara karya Merari Siregar. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca dan catat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan terhadap novel Azab dan Sengsara karya Merari Siregar yang diterbitkan oleh Balai Pustaka pada tahun 1920, ditemukan masalah sosial yakni seperti kemiskinan atau rendahnya perekonomian yang dihadapi oleh keluarga Mariamin yang dapat mengungkapkan beberapa masalah sosial meliputi (1) marginalisasi perempuan, (2) kesenjangan sosial, yang berujung materialistis dan perjodohan atau kawin paksa, dan (3) kepercayaan perdukunan.Kata Kunci: Masalah Sosial, Sosiologi Sastra, Novel Azab dan Sengsara.AbstractThis study discusses the social problems found in the Azab and Sengsara novels by Merari Siregar published by Balai Pustaka in 1920, with the aim of describing the social problems contained in the novel. The method in this study uses a type of qualitative descriptive method. This type of research is a type of library research. The data in this study are in the form of sentences written in the form of story excerpts that contain social problems contained in the Azab and Sengsara novels by Merari Siregar. The research technique used in this study is the technique of reading and writing. The approach used in this study is the sociological approach to literature. Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the Azab and Sengsara novels by Merari Siregar published by Balai Pustaka in 1920, social problems such as poverty or low economic conditions faced by the Mariamin family were found which could reveal several social problems including (1) marginalization of women, (2) social inequalities, materialistic ends and matchmaking or forced marriage, and (3) shamanic beliefs.Keywords: Social Issues, Sociology of Literature, Novel Azab and Passion.

Abstract

The interest in reading among elementary school students remains poor, especially in understanding narrative story texts. Therefore, interesting and contextual learning media is important to improve students' reading skills. This study aims to test the efficacy of the use of digital comics based on local culture on the story reading skills of 5th-grade elementary school students. The study applied an experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group model. The study subjects involved 68 students in 5th grade who were segmented into two groups: an experimental group using digital comic media based on local culture, and a control group using conventional textbooks. The instrument included a story reading skill test. Data were analysed using a t-test. The results showed that the t-count value of 6.970 was higher than the t-table of 2.035, indicating a significant discrepancy between the experimental and control groups. Students using digital comics indicated higher improvement in reading skills and responded positively to the content, display, and cultural content in the media. This study concludes that digital comics using local culture are effectively used in learning to read stories in elementary schools. The implication of this research is the need for teachers to develop and utilise local culture-based media as an innovative alternative in Indonesian language learning. In addition to improving reading skills, this media also strengthens cultural identity and student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the forms of illocutionary speech acts that exist in the buying and selling process at Pasar Karangpucung, Kabupaten Cilacap. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The Data collection technique in this study was the recording technique. Then, the source of the data came from the record obtained in the buying and selling process in the Pasar Karangpucung, Kabupaten Cilacap. The result of the study found five forms of illocutionary speech acts in the form of assertive speech acts, directive speech acts, commissive speech acts, expressive speech acts, and declarative speech acts. The form of speech found in the form of stating, informing, mentioning, indicating, asking, suggesting, imploring, prohibiting, promising, swearing or convincing earnestly, thanking, complaining, apologizing, giving an apology, and the last one creating a new atmosphere or situation

Abstract

This journal examines the Marxist feminist approach in literature, focusing on the character Jebris in the drama anthology “Mata yang Enak Dipandang,” which is an adaptation of Ahmad Tohari’s short stories. The study explores three main aspects: societal, economic, and political, to identify Jebris’ role and representation from a Marxist feminist perspective. The analysis aims to provide deeper insights into how Marxist feminist theory is reflected in the character of Jebris and its impact on the overall narrative of the adapted literary work. The research method involves textual and social context analysis to provide a profound interpretation of Jebris’ thoughts and role in reflecting relevant gender and social issues. The findings of this research contribute to understanding the relationship between Marxist feminist theory and literature, while offering critical perspectives on gender representation in adapted literary works.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and examine the feminism contained in the anthology of the short story "Perempuan dan Perempuan" by Bagus Satria. The data source for this research is the short story Anthology of ”Perempuan dan Perempuan” by Bagus Satria. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The research data is liberal feminism in the anthology of the short story “Perempuan dan Perempuan” by Bagus Satria. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data used are texts related to aspects of feminism in the short story Anthology of ”Perempuan dan Perempuan”. Data analysis techniques (1) read the entire contents of the short story, (2) mark and record the quotations on the short story, (3) classify the findings, (4) analyze the findings according to the research problem, (5) the last step is concluded. The results of the research show that there is feminism in the short story “Perempuan dan Perempuan” by Bagus Satria.

Abstract

Learning evaluation is a process of assessing the achievement of learning objectives. The research aims to determine the cognitive domain contained in the questions created by the class XII Indonesian language teacher at Al-Furqon Bantarkawung Vocational School. This research method uses qualitative methods. The data source for this research is Indonesian PSAJ questions. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews, and question documents. The researcher's technical data analysis using the assessment of PSAJ questions was carried out using the cognitive domain. This cognitive domain consists of 6 levels which cover students thinking abilities from the lowest to the highest. Teachers can plan learning and determine the types of questions that suit students' abilities in analyzing Indonesian language evaluations. The cognitive domain outlines six levels of response in the thinking process, namely: The results in this study contain 6 questions, the first is knowledge, knowledge based on cognitive level indicators, the ability to name is a characteristic of category (C1), Second, comprehension, there are two questions, this question is included in comprehension, the cognitive objective of this question is the stage of understanding (C2), Third the application of data based on cognitive level indicators (C3), Fourth Analysis (analysis) the ability to explain is a characteristic of the category (C4), Fifth Synthesis: There is one data based on the question above which is included in the cognitive domain category because students are asked to combine the correct parts to make one unit (C5). The six assessments (evaluation) and one question data above are included in the category (C6), because students are asked to compare texts 1 and 2 in the analysis of Indonesian PSAJ questions.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the cognitive aspects of questions developed by the Indonesian language teacher at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kerabat Kita Bumiayu. Through an interview conducted with the subject teacher in January 2024 at SMK Kerabat Kita Bumiayu, it was found that the design of the questions had considered Bloom’s Taxonomy, specifically the cognitive domain. In order to assess students' abilities, an appropriate evaluation process is necessary. The assessment serves to explore the extent of students’ comprehension of the material delivered during the learning process. This research employs a qualitative method. It adopts an evaluative approach to learning assessment based on Bloom’s Taxonomy, with a particular focus on the cognitive domain. Data analysis was carried out through three stages: the first is data reduction, which aims to simplify information obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation; the second is data presentation, where the reduced data are organized into a simpler and more narrative format.The data analyzed in this study consist of four essay questions designed by the Indonesian language teacher for grade XII students at SMK Kerabat Kita Bumiayu. The research focuses on observing the cognitive level reflected in the essay questions used in the Mid-Semester Assessment (Penilaian Tengah Semester/PTS).
