Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the stages of manufacture, the performance and the development of solar panel control charging devices using arduino nano for commercial electric bicycle. Development of solar panel control charging device is expected to be used in utilizing solar thermal energy as a source of energy on a commercial electric bike with parameters generated from solar panels and battery charging. The result of this research is a solar panel charging control device that is used to control the input voltage from the solar panel to the battery used as a power source for the electric bicycle. The result are, the average battery charging power using 100 Watt Peak (WP) solar panel was 39.03 Watt with 160 minutes, the average efficiency of 85.82% and the yield of the battery voltage from 11 Vdc to 12.5 Vdc. While the average power charging battery using 300 WP solar panel is 57,43 Watt with time 50 minutes, average efficiency of 88.48% and battery voltage from 11 Vdc become 12,2 Vdc. Average percentage error of measurement parameter control charging solar panels below 10%. Keywords: control charging, solar panels, electric bike AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan pembuatan, unjuk kerja dari pengembangan alat control charging panel surya menggunakan arduino nano untuk sepeda listrik niaga. Pengembangan alat control charging panel surya ini diharapkan dapat digunakan dalam memanfaatkan energi panas matahari sebagai sumber energi pada sepeda listrik niaga dengan parameter parameter yang dihasilkan dari panel surya dan pengisian aki. Hasil dari pembuatan proyek akhir ini berupa alat control charging panel surya yang digunakan untuk mengontrol tegangan masukan dari panel surya menuju aki yang dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber tenaga sepeda listrik niaga. Hasil pengujian, daya rata rata pengisian aki menggunakan panel surya 100 Watt Peak (WP) yang diuji adalah 39,03 Watt dengan waktu 160 menit, rata-rata efisiensi 85,82% dan hasil tegangan aki dari 11 Vdc menjadi 12,5 Vdc. Sedangkan daya rata rata pengisian aki menggunakan panel surya 300 WP yang diuji adalah 57,43 Watt dengan waktu 50 menit, rata-rata efisiensi 88.48% dan tegangan aki dari 11 Vdc menjadi 12,2 Vdc. Rata-rata persentase kesalahan parameter pengukuran alat control charging panel surya dibawah 10%. Kata Kunci : control charging, panel surya, Sepeda Listrik Niaga

Abstract

ABSTRACT:Electricity consumption is influenced by activities, habit, life style and equipment used by human (Susanti, 2014) thus it is necessary to find the relationship between the individuals' participation in conserving the energy and the total energy used. This study aims to find out how far the involvement of students, teaching staff, and administrative staff at Faculty of Engineering Yogyakarta State University in saving the energy. This research used quantitative approach. The data was collected using questionnaire and documentation. The result shows that the participation of people at Faculty of Engineering Yogyakarta State University in conserving the energy falls in medium level which is 60 %.ABSTRAK:Pemakaian energi listrik dipengaruhi oleh tingkah laku, kebiasaan konsumen, gaya hidup dan peralatan (Susanti, 2014) sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengungkap sejauh mana partisipasi dari civitas akademika terhadap program konservasi (penghematan) energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) mengetahui tingkat partisipasi mahasiswa; (2) mengetahui tingkat partisipasi tenaga pendidik; dan (3) mengetahui tingkat partisipasi tenaga kependidikan dalam program konservasi energi di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya dianalisis secara persentase. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi civitas akademik FT UNY dalam program konservasi energi masih kategori sedang, dengan rata-rata 60 %.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain a modular unit for training and instruction in industrial electrical installations as a suitable learning media. This study uses research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model, which consists of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subject is Diploma 4 student in Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The research result as follows. (1) Manufacture of industrial electrical equipment training module products. (2) Application program feasibility for material-related assessment includes content aspects, learning aspects, and efficiency aspects. All aspects of the substantive feasibility study were rated as highly feasible with a score of 94.5 points. Application program feasibility for media professional evaluation includes visual, hardware, usability, and portability aspects. It has an average score of 109.5 on all aspects of the media feasibility test and is categorized as highly feasible. (3) Student user reactions, including learning, visual, hardware, usability, and portability. All aspects of student user response were rated as very good with an average score of 107.1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the essential competencies contribution of each vocational course and engineering course in the curriculum to the competence needs of education, training, and engineering work in the electrical power competencies. The research was carried out using a goal-oriented evaluation approach. The object of this research is to the essential competencies of the electrical engineering education Master Program's courses at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, including engineering and vocational education courses. Data collection used a questionnaire, then analyzed descriptively. Furthermore, it was presented in the form of categorical data and graphs. The research results show that each essential competence contributes 70.0% to electrical education and training jobs. Referring to the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards, each essential competency contributes more than 66.7%. Thus it can be concluded that the essential competencies of the electrical engineering education Master Program's courses in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta have contributed to the electricity sector jobs.

Abstract

In farming, clean water is a basic need to wash food, drink, bathe and clean the cow shed. Provision of clean water is by means of an electric water pump. Meanwhile, electricity prices tend to rise gradually, consequently monthly the electricity bill for farming needs rise. Another thing, the power outage in the countryside sometimes happens in a long duration. The stability of clean water availability at the location of livestock groups is disrupted. One of the best solution approaches to overcome these problems is to create and develop applied products related to renewable energy and energy independence, namely solar power supply unit. This power supply unit uses 2 150WP 12 Volt solar panels, 2 solar charge controllers, 3100Ah batteries and a DC to AC 1500W inverter. The result of the development of this solar powered power supply unit is about 300 Watt. Its main function is to turn on the water pump during the day and in addition it is able to turn on the led light for street lighting at night. Based on the observations, this unit has been operating well and effectively for about 1 month and successfully assisted members of the cow farm groups in the provision of clean water
