Abstract

The SN Multipurpose Cooperative has a business of collecting pure cow's milk from dairy farmers. Milk is processed by cooling it to a certain temperature. Pure milk from cooperatives sent to milk factories can be rejected by milk factories for various reasons so that dairy farmers experience losses. The SN Multi-Business Cooperative carries out business development, namely pure milk is further processed by the cooperative into ready-to-drink processed milk products. Business development in the field of processing pure milk products will provide a greater selling value compared to pure milk sold directly to milk factories. Distribution and delivery of processed milk to consumers is carried out using motorbikes. To carry processed milk, every motorbike rider uses a basket bag made of thick cloth which is placed on the back and contains around 30 liters of milk. Inside this bag, ice cubes are placed to maintain the temperature of the processed milk. Over a long period of time the ice cubes will melt into water and seep into the basket bag and damage the basket bag. With the development of a portable toll box, it is possible to maintain milk temperature for longer as well as anthropometric arm length and upwards. The cool box installed on the motorbike is equipped with foam in the cooling box. The distributed capacity is greater to 64 liters.

Abstract

Little industry participated in CV milk drink items. Memory Susu Nusantara on Jalan Tirto Agung, Semarang city, the method involved with cappingmilk bottle covers is as yet done physically. This exploration will have some expertise in planning bottle shutting apparatuses and tables utilizing anthropometric strategies to make bundling time more successful. Sat around idly causes significant expenses, aside from that it additionally causes laborers bother in bottle shutting procedures. In planning this device, the anthropometric information utilized is Hip Level, Hand Reach, Hip to Shoulder, Shoulder Width information. In light of the information acquired and the consequences of the information computations, it was found that the information got was uniform since it was still inside the upper control cutoff points and lower control limits. All in all, by planning a jug covering device with an extra table, it decreases sit around, laborers will turn out to be more agreeable, on the grounds that there is an extra table to kill the time taken by laborers to gather bottles. This new apparatus will make laborers more proficient in shutting bottles contrasted with physically, subsequently acquiring useful time simultaneously.

Abstract

The SN Multi-Business Cooperative (KSU) is located in Getasan District, Semarang Regency. This cooperative collect cow's milk which is cooled to a certain temperature and sent to milk factories and restaurants and cafes. The problem that often arises is that milk that has been sent to the milk factory can be rejected for various reasons. To carry processed milk, every motorbike rider uses a basket bag made of thick cloth which is mounted on the back of the motorbike. Using this basket bag is less practical because if the driver wants to refuel, the basket bag must be removed first. The design of the portable cool box mounting frame makes it easier for drivers to refuel. The portable cool box's mounting frame is designed to transport milk more effectively, using a cooling stand that can be removed, which is more ergonomic, making it easier to refuel.

Abstract

Making fertilizer from goat dung usually requires additional materials such as fermenters, water, and dry leaves, as well as tools such as hoes, plastic sheeting, buckets, tarpaulins, and pestles. The process of making manure by farmers in Ngadirejo village, Kromengan district, takes quite a long time because the destruction of dry goat dung is still done manually by pounding. This study aims to design a goat dung crusher machine to optimize the destruction process. The method used to design this machine is Quality Function Deployment (QFD), which is an approach that focuses on meeting the needs of the users, in this case goat farmers. Through a questionnaire, the design attributes desired by the user are identified and translated into technical design responses. The next step is to create a design visualization and a machine prototype. The advantages of using the QFD method compared to previous methods are its ease of use, as well as increased efficiency and ergonomics compared to manual methods. This manure crusher machine is not only more efficient in terms of time and cost, but also provides comfort and safety for operators when using it. The following results were obtained from the calculations and planning in "Design of Goat Manure Smoothing Tool Using the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Method": From five experiments conducted, the maximum force to crush goat dung was 4.6 kgf and power of 3.95HP, obtaining a torque value of 8437.5 kgf.mm, obtaining a shaft diameter of 17mm, obtaining a force on the pin of 2652.5N.

Abstract

One key factor influencing efficiency is the application of ergonomic principles, particularly physical ergonomics, which includes aspects of anthropometry and repetitive motion. This study was conducted at PT FMS, a manufacturer of UV Harnesses, focusing on the cutting workstation that still heavily relies on manual labor. With a targeted productivity increase of 135% and no significant change in the production plan, the standing work posture maintained throughout the day poses a risk of fatigue and potential injury to operators. This study aims to analyze and propose improvements to reduce fatigue and design an ergonomic cutting workstation. Anthropometric data were used to calculate percentiles for designing an ergonomic worktable, while body discomfort and movement-related injury risks were assessed using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) methods, respectively. The analysis revealed that the non-ergonomic workstation design caused physical complaints such as back and leg pain, indicating the need for redesign. It is recommended that the company routinely evaluate ergonomic factors and regularly distribute NBM questionnaires to all production operators to identify potentially harmful work activities.

Abstract

During the wood packaging process, workers at PT. Kakimoto House Japan are exposed to ergonomic risks due to improper working postures and repetitive activities. These conditions lead to physical complaints and decreased productivity. This study aims to identify potential work failures using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and the Nordic Body Map questionnaire involving three operators. Results show that operator 1 scored a high-risk level of 70, while operators 2 and 3 were categorized as moderate. The Risk Priority Number (RPN) analysis revealed that foot fatigue had the highest RPN of 336, followed by lower back pain and minor wrist injury, each with an RPN of 280. The highest productivity rate was recorded at 0.9985, and the lowest at 0.9964. Based on these findings, ergonomic improvements such as adjusting tool height, rearranging workflow, and providing active rest breaks were recommended. This study confirms that the FMEA approach is effective in designing ergonomic solutions to enhance worker comfort and productivity.
